The pegasus among them blinked. Out of all the things he was prepared for with this new pony, this was not one of them. The fact that this random stranger was on a first name basis with Moonlight, and Trixie too, was throwing his mind for a loop.
He stepped back, watching whatever this had led to. He had so many questions, wanting to know everything about this pony but not wanting to interrupt what was obviously a happy reunion. Maybe this would work for the best though, he had meant to talk to Genesee, if Moon and Tara wanted a minute he could ask for that chance.

Archimedes had been thinking, silently. His mind raced and raced over every possibility, weighing every factor and every action. "Making up" appealed to him, in a way. Make things right, maybe even go on a mission to even see if she was still alive. No. She was dead. It was his fault. He screamed into his pillow before he realized that new ponies had entered the room.
It was still here. He rolled his eyes over all of them, assessing their strengths. He finally realized: he had no clue what was real and what wasn't. The dissociation had him reeling. He stood and made to leave.
"Excuse me," he said politely for them to make way.

Trixie saw Archie get up and look like he was ready to leave, she quickly made her way to block him.
"Archie, lay back down. You aren't well and I can't let my friend go out into the world like this."

"Ah yes, there it is." Genesee left the others as the conversed, gathering up the book and flipping it open to a new page. Taking a quill from Moonlights desk, he quickly jotted down the newcomer's name as well as Trixie's, logging a few quick facts about the blue mare and the grey stallion. Each would have to be interview in private, but for now he was confident that the other's would help get them accustomed to camp.
The old stallion trotted towards the entrance of the Medial Grotto; it was already very full with ponies and Genesee didnt wish to get in their way. Glancing to Trixie and Tarasha, he said with a nod, "I will speak with you two after dinner tonight and we can review what your plans are. For now, get some rest and catch up with one another." With that, he disappeared into the tunnels.

Moon had smiled back at the earth pony, an honest and relieved smile at getting to see another familiar face. This sure was a day of reunions wasn't it. Moons smile faltered a little as he spotted the added scars, and though he was met with the initial thought of taking a look at them, he quickly enough forced that back since they didn't look like new ones. Nothing he could do now.
"I... suppose that's understandable. But, I'm glad you managed to stumble into our camp either way." He says in reply, the relief in his voice rather clear. "Ah, or maybe it's more likely that you were found and led here, no? Oh, but ah, it is really good to see you again though." He says, lifting a hoof to scratch the back of his head as he smiled a bit sheepishly. He however paused as Genesee's voice rang throughout the cave, his hears perking and giving a slight nod as he heard what he said. All according to the usual plans when new ponies entered camp. He had turned back to face the earth pony when he noticed the now it seemed awake dragon, quickly furrowing his brow. He gave Tara an excusing look before he went to stand by Trixie, looking up at the dragon worryingly, mostly for the dragon itself, but also for the others in the room... "She's right Archiemedes. Please, you need to rest..."

Flux sighed softly to himself, seeing that everyone around him was finding themselves in their own conversations and he took a small step back. He decided to let them sort themselves out as his eye caught Genesee's exit. Deciding that he would just have to speak to Moon later, he trotted quietly around the others in the room and followed their leader.

Tara nodded and watched Moonlight and Trixie standing next to each other at...the dragons bed? Huh, a dragon. Well, by far not the strangest thing he saw on his travels but surprising anyway. He made a mental note to see and speak with the big stallion later. And he was promised food. Only a fool would reject free food. As Flux left, Tarascha quickly took a last glance at him, still not really sure if the stallion would be an ally or an enemy soon. He seemed reasonable but also too dangerous to hang around for too long.
He moved a hoof into one of the many bags inside the cloak and fumbled around with a little piece of paper between some leaves he had also placed in there for a reason he seemingly had already forgot. The other hoof quickly moved to his hood to slip it back over his head and face, hiding him for anypony that would look over. While he did accept moon as a pony to safely talk to, he wasn't sure about the other ponies present. So better safe than sorry. With his haunches on the bed, he waited until it was his turn to have a talk with the doctor.

Archimedes balked at the suggestion and stood his ground. "Please, I need to go," he said. He tried to explain why, but the words caught in his throat. Withoit waiting for a reply, he took another step forward.

Trixie stood firm where she was not budging a single bit to the tall dragon, her look of concern started to become one of mild anger as her first friend would not listen to her. In a voice that would convey her emotions of worry Trixie spoke up again. "No, you do not. What you need to do is lay down and get better again. I couldn't live with myself if my first ever friend ran off and got himself killed cause he wasn't in the right state of mind! I refuse to let you leave!"

Moon too stood still where he was, even if he knew that if the dragon wanted to get them out of the way by force, he probably would do that rather easily. But nonetheless, letting someone as obviously distraught as the dragon was leave just like that was out of the question on his honour as a doctor (of sorts). He however said nothing, since he didn't come up with anything else to add to what Trixie said, and he hoped that the words of a friend would cause the dragon to stand down.
To be on the safe side however, he began prepare a sleep spell, usually reserved for the use as an anaesthetic. He wasn't sure if it'd be able to affect the dragon, if he managed to hit, but he felt that he needed to do something, in case things got out of control.

Archimedes looked into her eyes and saw that fierce determination. Then he saw something more, a fresh cut into his already broken pysche. Pain. The pain that somepony else, somepony he cared about carried; the pain that he caused. Her words finally registered and he swayed in place. Ouch.
"Trixie, I'm sorry but if you care about me at all, we need to get out of here to see if...if I actually killed Octavia. We have to go to Lord Sombra's castle."

A light framed heather colored pegasus came racing into the medical grotto, panting heavily as her eyes darted about as if searching for something. Many would know her as Dove Twine. Her eyes soon clicked to Deut. "Deuterium! Oh thank Luna... you are needed urgently in the commons! It's gotten.... far out of hoof!" She galloped to the side of his bed and prodded him, "Please! Come quickly!"
Dove's panic left little room for her to fully register that Deut was in a sick bed of the medical center, she hurried him without thought and practically radiated urgency to the sickly stallion.

Trixie's eyes softened up a bit at what he told her, she let out a soft sigh and shook her head.
"Sombra is a skill magic user Archie, he can easily manipulate others thoughts and make them think they did things they didn't do. Which looks like he probably did to you.. I can't follow you there it is far to dangerous for anypony to go. If we did.. We would likely take more than a few causalities and for what? Just to find out if she was still alive? It has to wait for now Archie, it's painful to hear but it is true."

While the unicorn was somewhat relieved to see that Trixie's words were having some effect on the dragon, hearing what he had to say was still troubling. To seek out none other than Sombra seemed like an extremely foolish errand, especially unprepared and irrationally like this notion seemed to be. He however was distracted by the sudden appearance of the mare, which a turn of his head revealed to him was Dove Twine, and after noting her rather obvious panicked state and how she approached one of his patients, he had a quick inner argument with himself whether he should stay where he were or go to her.
After rationalizing that Trixie didn't really need his help here, and that he could watch over them from the bed of Deuterium he quickly trotted over to the mare and Deut, letting his prepared sleep spell go as he looked to her. "What's the matter? Has something happened?" He asked her, trying to assess the situation. "Also, I'd appreciate it if you could stop prodding my patients." He adds, trying to remain calm, hoping it would help calm down the panicking mare.

Archimedes understood her concern, but..."I know Som-" he started when he was interrupted by the pegasus. He briefly analyzed the situation and felt the need to exploit it.
"A-ahem..." He began, and sidled over to Deut. "It's obvious that this pony is needed somewhere else." And he moved to pick him up by the waist. "I will carry him." He smiled a big toothy dragon smile and said, "See? I'm helping. That's good, right?"

Seeing all of this going down, Tara found himself ignored by most of the ponies and creatures in the room. With all the other ponies seemingly busy, he rose up from the bed silently and took a better look around, trying to spot anything useful or worth the time. Of course he wasn't going to steal any of it. No no. Maybe just...take a closer look at one or two things later. Medical supplies were always good and could be traded for a lot of bits.
A quiet groan slipped out between his lips as his leg made contact with the floor again. The long way to these caverns had been hard and painful and trotting around on rocks and stone the whole time wasn't going to help his pain at all, eventually only making it even worse. No, he definitely wasn't cut for the cave life like these ponies seemingly were. Too narrows, too close and too hard. The ponies seemed nice enough and he knew one or two of the inhabitans but it definitely wasn't worth giving up his freedom for. Yet.

Deut's gaze slipped to Dove and he thought he could feel his migraine getting worse... "What exactly is the problem...?" Deut groggily replied, lifting his head a bit. Maybe if Moon had some more of that root it wou;d help a bit...

Dove Twine looked visibly troubled as she glanced between Deut, Moon, and now Archimedes the dragon who had pick Deut up and starting to pick up on the fact Deut wasnt himself. "Please, he needs to come right away! There's been a big misunderstanding because of language barriers and now a knife has been pulled on a pony! We need Deut to calm things down in their native tongue and FAST!" She dashed to the entrance of the cave and looked back, urging the dragon on to carry Deut out if thats really what it would take.

Moon's brows furrowed as he listened to the mare. It was obvious that this situation indeed needed Deut's talents, or else pony's would be unnecessary hurt... or worse. He didn't like it, but he had to let Deut go for now. However, the toothy grin and the far too eager dragon couldn't help but make him suspicious, that maybe he might use this opportunity for other than to transport Deuterium. If the situation was any other, he would have argued for his cause... but there was no time for that.
With a slight sigh, the unicorn shook his head and quickly trotted further into the cave, grabbed a few of the roots he had given Deut before and swiftly returned with them, handing them to the mare. "All right, go then. And hurry. Ah, and if Deut needs them, give him some of these to chew on. Should help with his headache." He said, before turning his head to give the dragon a slightly disapproving look. "And come back here when you're done, okay?" He found himself doubting that the dragon would follow his urging words even as he said them, but the least he could do is try.

"Archie you better come back afterwards or else I will find you and kick your flank!" Trixie huffed at the dragon before turning to Moon rubbing her temples. She looked at her beloved and flashed him a smile. She really did miss seeing Moon, the amount of time that had passed while they were away from each other was horrible. Truth be told, she was just enjoying his precense.

Deut, who had hardly noticed he was lying in the dragon's arms, being preoccupied with his migraine, floated one of the roots from the same place that Moon had found them from, chewing it quickly. He was not gonna translate anything with a migraine, or standing on legs that felt like they were going to snap at any second.

Moon watched the company leave the cave finally, an unsure and worried feeling in his stomach as two of his patients left his care without him wanting them too. The situation had called for it, he knew... but he hoped consistently that they'd be all right. If they'd get even worse because he had let them go, he... He didn't know what to do. Not any less than he knew what to do when he'd have to let people go before, when he had been on the move, instead of a camp doctor. These thoughts made the unicorn a bit saddened, but before it could go on much further, he caught the smile Trixie was flashing him, forcing those thoughts away (for now). He smiled back at her, maybe a little weakly, but he tried, before he turned back towards the earth pony in the room, as it finally was about time for him to look him over.
"Sorry about that. Camp life can be... quite busy when you are one of the few who knows how to heal others." He said, offering a small smile before adding: "Though... Today has been a bit more... eventful today, when compared to most days." He said, chuckling a little as he looked Tara over. "But now, should I maybe look over your leg? Or ah, anything else that you need?"

Forte stuck his head into the medical grotto, looking for a particular blue unicorn. He smiled when he caught sight of his target. He trotted over to Moon and the new grey pony. "Um, Moon? Can I speak to you for a moment?" Forte asked. He felt bad butting in like that, but he needed to get Moon alone as quickly as he could.

Trixie walks over to the newest arrival in the medial cave. She glares at him the moment he asks to have a word with Moon, she knew he had a job to do, but they were interfering with her Moon time. She stopped herself from growling and spoke up quickly moving over to Moon almost protectively.
"Oh no no no, you nor anyone else will be taking my coltfriend away from me anymore today!"

After all this trouble and action in the medial grotto, Tara gave Moon a certain look, some part confusion, some part annoyance and some part understanding while he slowly lifted himself onto all of his hooves again, a twitch running through his leg and rear but he didn't comment on it any further. He then slowly shook his head and pulled the hood down over his face as far as possible, hiding his features again from the other ponies around him. "Would you mind if I speak clearly? I don't think I am in that much need of attention right now. It really is a surprise to see you again but you seem to be a very busy pony. That pegasus pony, Flux, already helped me a little so don't worry about me passing out. I can do what I need on my own. But you clearly got some other ponies that need you more than me at the moment."
The earth pony nodded towards Forte and Trixie, trying to get Moon to pay attention to them instead of him. They seemed to need him more and he was doing just fine on his own. He didn't need anypony else looking after him. If he could survive the deepest forests and coldest ice in Equestria, then a cavern full of refugees shouldn't be a problem. He reached into his cloak with one hoof and placed a damaged, battered book on the bed he had rested in while waiting before. It looked like it had been used a lot and several notes and letters were sticking out over the edges, some looking much older than others. "A gift. For you, Doctor. Maybe you will find some use in it"
He then bowed his head again and turned towards the door, trying to make his way out of the room to explore the caverns on his own.

The unicorn frowned as he first was addressed by the new arrival, a bit irritated that he seemed to be so constantly interrupted when he was trying to work. With a small sigh, he turned around, his frown turning a bit more serious as he saw that it was no other than Forte who wanted his attention. He hadn't forgotten about his run in with Forte before, and that he had promised to help... Though he had not thought it'd be this soon. He opened his mouth to answer, but found himself interrupted once more, and by Trixie nonetheless. While what she said had him smiling a bit sheepishly, her presence was still one he appreciated after all, he had to admit that the situation was getting a bit out of hoof.
Aaand he was just about to address this when he finally was approached by Tarascha as well, making him turn around to listen to what he had to say. What he said had him frowning, he admitted that he was right... at least to some extent. And when the earth pony had begun his walk out of the cave, the unicorn looked between him and the gift he had left him, his head buzzing with many different thoughts surrounding the other three pony's in the cave. Finally, he sighed and turned to Forte and Trixie, giving them a small and excusing smile. "Sorry I... This will just take a second, okay?" And with that, he quickly trotted up to Tara before he could leave the cave.
Well there, he offered him a small smile and a nod. "Thank you. But ah, try to find me later, okay? Oh, and be careful, you can easily get lost in these caverns if you're not careful." He said finally, offering another smile before he turned around and returned to Trixie and Forte. His head was still buzzing with thoughts, but he tried to sort them out the best he can. "Okay, okay... I ah, imagine that this is about what we... talked about before?" He asked Forte, still trying to sort through his thoughts (some of which surrounding the new book Tara had given him, him making a mental note to inspect it as soon, or even while, he did this).

Trixie grumbled at hearing Moon was yet again needed immediately, this was beginning to annoy her. Though she understood he had duties to do here and pre-established agreements. She spoke up once more looking to Moon. "Go ahead Moon, I don't mind. You are a pretty busy pony, but remember I was told to teach some ponies illusory magic"
