Deut was still feeling rather weak, though his migraine had gone down quite a bit due to his chewing the root (and having vomited). Though he did still feel rather ill, as the gurgling in his stomache, high temperature and achy, shivering limbs made evident.

It had only been minutes, and the tingly numbing sensation still dragged on, but the pain started to come back in small amounts, gradually enough for Archimedes to enjoy the next few minutes. He yawned and stretched, feeling sore. He lazily wheeled his head to look around the medical room. Finally, his eyes rested on Trixie standing there looking back at him.
"Trixie?" He asked, tentatively. He pinched himself. Hard. Didn't wake up. He looked around the room. He paid attention to every detail. Quickly, he rose off the bed and dashed over to Moon.
"Give me that," he barked, snatching the book. He flipped through a couple pages and landed on a random page. He studied it for ten seconds and then threw the book against the wall.
"Very funny, Sombra," he said to the walls, the cieling. It was hard for him to move. He shoved all of his bubbling emotions into the back of his mind with practiced swiftness. Anger remained.
"Two years, now! Almost three! This has gone on long enough! I'm so sick of this! Let me back in the ring. I'll tear their guts out for you! I'll kill them all, this time! Even the kids!" He ran from the room in a frenzy.

Trixie looked at the dragon as he ran off. Her emotions a little hurt at what he just said and she looked over to Moon. The hurt was obvious in her eyes, though she didn't run after him. That was mainly because she was afraid she'd get lost. She simply frowned and walked over to Moon. "Well that was.. Unexpected"

Moon, who had been quietly toiling away until now, perked as he became aware of the dragons awakening. He turned around, curious about the commotion only to suddenly have a very... emotional dragon in his face, ripping away the book from him quiet easily as the ex-librarian just stared at him in chock. His gaze in fact continued to follow the book as it was thrown towards the wall, acting far too slow to be able to catch in time, and winced as it hit the cave wall. But realizing that this ordeal was far from over, he then looks back to the room in time to see Archiemedes storm out in a frenzy.
Moon was quiet for several moment, a look of chock on him as he slowly turned to meet Trixie's gaze as she trotted towards him. He takes a few deep breaths, trying to get to his senses before looking back out the way Archie had gone, hearing a commotion. "It... It sure did... I..." He looks back at Trixie, giving her a quick nuzzle to try and comfort her before motioning towards the cave opening. "We... come, we need to go after him... Before anything else happens." He finally decides on saying, nodding to make his point.
"Deut, stay here. I'll be back in bit." He says to the patient before flashing a quick smile at Trixie, trying to put up a moderatly successful brave font for her. He then trots out after the rampaging dragon, still trying to come up with what he could do...

Deut was very alarmed by Archie's sudden outburst, and buried his head in his pillow. Ill or not, there was no way his magic was powerful enough to stop a rampaging dragon...
"But I could..."
As soon as the thought had crossed Deut's mind, Pandy replied. Deut was quick to retort with a firm "No." as he rolled over.
"We don't know what effect this illness has on you when we switch..."
Deut had to admit, he was right... But that still didn't make him any more likely to allow him in. "It's a bad idea, Pandy..."
"Just suggestin'..."

Deut noticed that he'd been left alone in the room. Perhaps that was a good thing but he wasn't feeling any better...
"I'm tellin' ya, I could take him, even in our weakened condition..."
"Pandy!"
"C'mon, dude. We don't know what happens if we swap while in a state like this. it could even make you better - let's try it."
The conversation went like this for some time, until Deut eventually caved in. Pandy still did seem to have that kind of manipulative effect on him...
"Alright... But don't get me killed. Heck, maybe I'll geta bit of rest while you drive..."
Deut closed his eyes and relaxed his body, slowly drifting into a trance-like state as Pandy eagerly stepped in to take control...
The body that had until recently been Deut's opened its eyes, revealing that they had changed colour, turning black-on-purple. Pandemonium smiled as he stood up, but grimaced slightly as he fellt Deut's condition. "Hmm... Can probably work around that." He mmuttered to himself, glad to at least be in the saddle for once.
"Be careful with that body." came a voice from inside Pandy's head.
"No worries. I think my magic might be counterbalancing the illness..." Pandy suggested, trotting over to the door with a smirk.

Archimedes walked in slowly and sat down on the nearest bed. He held his head in his claws and waited. He wanted more than anything to just leave and go look for something alone. But that would have to wait for tonight.

[Enter Moon and Deut from common quarters and gathering nook]
Moon re-entered the medical grotto with Deut leaning against him and quickly, but careful as to not disturb the the disturbed Deut, moved over to one of the beds, carefully helping/gently forcing the stallion into one of them. He then left the side of Deut for a moment, quickly returning with a clay cup filled with water which he placed down next to the bed. "There, now just take it easy, okay? I don't want you up and running again until you feel much better." He says kindly, but adding a very slightly forceful tone, as to really get the message across this time.
As for the elephant in the room, or rather, the dragon, Moon had for now ignored his presence, opting instead to give Deuterium his full attention before concentrating on anything else.

[Enter Deut]
Deut was now somewhat glad that Moon was helping him, his legs having given up entirely now thanks to Pandy's intervention. Still tasting the horrible fluid which had come from his insides earlier, he didn't resist as Moon helped him back onto his bed, levitating the cup of water in his (now very weak) magic and taking a sip before swilling it around his mouth to clear his palate.
"Thank you, Moon..." He spoke quietly after realising that he hadn't properly thanked Moon for all he was doing. He'd just broken up a conversation with his wife, whom he hadn't seen in ages, to help him out. Deut knew moon well, and knew that he wouldn't have done anything less for anypony in his condition. It almost made him feel a bit guilty for not thanking him until now...

Archimedes looked up when they all entered. It seemed surreal. Here he was, finally getting a taste of the real world, finally realizing he was free, and it was all he could do not to kill himself.
He couldn't take his eyes off them. They all seemed to blur together before, but now he caught himself staring at every detail on his friends.
Could he ever trust himself again? Could he be healed? No, this...monster was who he was now. The dull pain made his ears start ringing and he swore. He wanted to continue to feel sad. Octavia had been his best friend. But the feelings just slipped away into the hollow space he carried with him since his imprisonment.
He laid down on the cot and the ringing stopped. He didn't sleep.

Moon offered Deut a small, but honest smile at the thanks and bowed his head slightly to him, glad to have instilled thanks in him. "It's the least I could do Deuterium. And now, promise me you won't be up and running like that again, okay? You need your rest if you are to recover as fast as possible." He states, pausing to ponder what more needed to be said. "Ah, and if you need any help, don't be afraid to call for me." He says, offering Deut another small smile before he looks out over the cave, his mind now wandering over to the second patient.
While he had been aiming to try and do what he could for the dragon, but upon seeing him lying down on his cot, he wondered if he hadn't gone to sleep. Or maybe that is what he hoped. He had to be honest here, while he was determined to do what he could for him, he silently wished that this hadn't been the case. A broken bone or a cough he could handle easily, but trauma like this? It never was easy... He sighed lightly, and turned his look away from the dragon for now, to look at Trixie again, some of his melancholy disappearing at her sight. By the princesses how he had missed her. While it had "only" had been a year, it had felt much much longer than that. The affectionate look he was giving her was at this point rather hard to miss.

Trixie was looking at Moon before he gave her that look. Immediately she blushed at it when she noticed how he was staring at her. She walked up to Moon and smiles softly. "So.. About our sleeping quarters?"

He smiles back, even if his eyebrows shot up a little by the question. "She sure is eager to see the sleeping quarters huh? I guess she must be tired or... eager to see where she can keep her stuff." He thought. "Well..." He started and then looked out over the room, pondering. With the dragon resting, Moon was loathing to wake him up, as rest is probably what he needed. And as for Deut, it was little he could do now, besides letting him recover on his own. "I suppose a quick tour would be all right... I'd not be gone for long."He thinks with a smile as he turns back to Trixie.
"Well I guess I can show you. Give me a second." He then turned to Deut. "Okay Deuterium, I will be heading out for a little bit. I'm going to show Trixie here where she'll sleep. I'll be back in just a bit." He said, offering him a quick smile before turning back to Trixie. "Okay, eh, follow me then." He says and leads the way out of the cave.

He had a lot to think about, that was for sure. And he couldn't argue that he was a danger to the villiage. Even now, he felt threatened. He rolled over and looked at Deut.
"What would you do?" He asked him plainly. "What would you do in my place?"

[Enter Flux from the main entrance]
Having led the newcomer directly to the medical area there wasn't too much for him to see on the way, but what he did see were ponies going about a normal life. "Normal" had certainly adapted to mean something else in the way of life in the camp, but after adjusting to the necessary differences life was still ongoing. Some laughed, some worked, some simply relaxed with their friends. It wasn't like the world outside, but Tara would see that inside the caves a pony could still lead a full life.
They entered into the healing place and Flux looked around, noting the lack of Moonlight in the cavern. While the unicorn had more expertise in the field, Flux was no stranger to basic medical treatment himself. If the doctor wasn't back soon he'd have to do what he could. "Here, claim a bed," he said to Tara, gesturing to the few rows of open resting spaces. Open beds were a good sign.

[Enter Genesee from Genesee's Quarters]
The old camp leader soon appeared in the doorway of the medical grotto, gazing around the area. Glimpsing Flux, he started to ask, "Flux, is Moon in here- oh... Who is this?" The leader entered fully, standing to his full height as his gaze clicked to Tarasha's figure. His expression gave away no emotion, reserving it until he trusted that this pony meant his campers no trouble.

[Enter Tarascha from the main entrance]
Tara's idea of the camp had been...different. A lot different. Instead of sad faces and scared ponies, living in poverty and hunger, he had seen ponies working together and being happy. A few of them actually laughed despite their situation here in the cave. Maybe this whole place wasn't as bad as he thought. These ponies seemed to be doing fairly good and lived their life without constant fear or paranoia as he had seen in some other refugee camps before.
He snapped out of his thoughts right away when they entered the medical grotto, his eyes instantly starting to look around the area, trying to make out any threat or danger and positioning him depending on what he spotted. Again, this place surprised him. This was a halfway-proper medical station with beds and everything. Now, if the doctor was half as good as this equipment was then-
Tara's ears flicked and he turned around in the matter of a second, staring at the new pony in the doorway with wide eyes, pulling his head back to be hidden under the hood completely again, trying to stay a "faceless" while standing a little bit away from the brown stallion. He seemed strong and certainly smart. He could tell that much already from just looking at him. "Your scout over here picked me up while I was at the big lake near your camp. Long story short, we have a hurt animal and we struck a deal to make everypony happy."

Hearing Genesee's voice, Flux had started to turn towards the elder when Tara's sudden movement made him spin back towards the grey pony, stepping slightly in front of Genesee. Thoughts flashed through his mind; what if this had all been staged? A lone traveler...or a spy with a good cover story sent to infiltrate their camp and kill their leader? The pegasus's mind fell instantly to its old habits, assessing the situation and picking out tactical advantages, knowing that he had to protect Genesee from this...unmoving pony. He blinked momentarily before realizing that the threat he'd imagined wasn't there. At least, not yet. He stepped back to the side as Tara spoke.
"It's as he says," he added. "He was out by Crater Lake with a beaver and we agreed to help him with what we could. I've collected his weapons for the time being, either until they are absolutely needed or it becomes clear that he means us no ill will." He didn't glare, but his gaze made it completely clear that he did not approve of the hood going back on. The more he tried to remain unidentifiable the more Flux was suspicious of him.

[Enter Moon from Sleeping Cavern]
The unicorn entered the grotto awhile after Trixie, panting a bit heavily but with a happy grin on his face still. "Not fair! I wasn't ready!" He got out between pants, attempting to get a annoyed tone into his voice but failing rather miserably at it. He looked at Trixie like this for a few moments, wearing a grin that had been a rare sight in the camp for quite some time, before he became aware that they indeed weren't alone in the grotto, and he snapped back into attention, looking out over the assembled ponies. A blush quickly grew on his face, and upon noticing that even Genesee was here, it only intensified as he tried fruitlessly to calm himself.
"O-Oh, eh, h-hello everypony... Genesee..." He mumbles while smiling nervously at group, his hoof being lifted to scratch the back of his head in an equally nervous fashion.

The pegasus had stepped back slightly at the sudden entrance of the showmare, allowing himself a little smile to see that she was already keeping a more positive attitude than some others had when in her position. He could hear the sound of hoofsteps growing closer to where they were and fit the pieces together, making a mental note to give the doctor some good-natured jabs about losing to his mare. One thing he noted was that Moon hadn't looked this happy in...well, ever, that Flux could remember.
"Perfect timing, Moon," he spoke up, hoping that he could put the unicorn a little more at ease in the current crowd. "We've got an injured critter and possibly someone in need of attention themselves." Maybe he could distract him enough with medical things to put him enough at home to not be so nervous.

Tara's head turned between the four ponies in the room. This was slowly getting too much for him. First the dangerous pegasus that was the closest to him. Then there was the big earth pony stallion that made him feel like a worm compared to him. The mare seemed...happy? Well she didn't seem like too much of a danger right now so he focused on the last one. The unicorn stallion. He looked pretty goofy for now as he tried to explain himself but something about him seemed familiar. The red mane, the blue coat, the cutie mark.
His ears shot straight up when he heard the name Moon being mentioned and that this Moon was supposted to be the doctor around here. Tara shifted on the bed he had sat down and turned his head to get a better look at the unicorn. It was him indeed. For now, he stayed quiet though. If this really was the pony he knew from a few years back then maybe he would recognize him. If not, well, then at least Tara had a doctor to talk to

Genesee had listened to Flux about the origins of the newcomer, watching the grey stallion quickly throw his hood back on. Over the years, the camp leader had met many new ponies, it being his sole job to judge their character as quickly as possible for the safety of everypony depending on him to make the right call. His eyes discreetly studied the new stallion's body language without saying a word before he moved forward to walk to the other side of the room where the medical supply was. As he passed Tarasha's bed, he smiled slightly and flicked a hoof up to pull his hood back down before he could realize what had happened and continued on his way to the far end of the room, speaking back gruffly with humor in his voice. "No need to be shy, the faster you get to know others here the faster it can feel like home. I certainly hope you think about staying." Genesee picked up a few bottles of medicine and moved them aside to look over Moon's books for his book in question, when the unicorn stallion himself came inside.
Glancing back at Moon's meek salutation, Genesee smiled wide at the sight of the smiles on Trixie and his face. It filled him with happiness to see ponies so in love in such hard times. It was good for Moon to have something happy to focus on. "Moonlight! There you are~ It seems you have some new patients. I don't mean to interrupt. I was hoping you still had my camper log book?"

Deut looked up, having managed to eventually fall asleep for a little while, still feeling terrible. So nothing was different as far as he was concerned, other than that there were now many other ponies in the grotto. he groaned, covering his head with his pillow again.

The unicorn seemed to relax a bit, or became more professional in any case, at the mention of new patients and he began trotting further into the room, looking around for these new people in need of healing. He also listened up at the mention of the notebook, mentally facehoofing himself for having forgotten to given that back. "Ah, right, the book. Sorry But yes, I think I left it down there by the ah, cauldron, I think." He said, nodding towards said cauldron, where it lay on a table next to it, the book still open on Archiemedes' page.
He then turned fully towards the new pony, looking him over for any signs of injury. "But all right then, what seems..." He however paused mid-sentence, a look of recognition over him as he looked at the familiar hooded pony. He was stumped for a few moments as he tried to recall who this was, and it was with a raise of his eyebrows in surprise, but pleasantly so, as he remembered. "...Tara?" There was no doubt, this was Tarascha, the earth pony that had accompanied him and Trixie for a while when they had travelled across Equestria.

"Indeed, Moonlight. I didn't know what I expected when I agreed to come here but it sure wasn't you." Tara had initially protested when Genesse had put his hood down again but he simply agreed to the stallions rules at this point. He did however cover a part of his face still by using his mane, trying to hide the worst of the little scars he had gathered over the years around his face. He definitely looked much more roughed up than last time Moonlight had seen him but the cloak and mane looked just the same.
Upon seeing the unicorn, there was actually a tiny smile on his face, more out of curiosity than anything else though. If Moonlight was here, then he could finally deliver that note he carried around for almost two years now. He knew it would probably be completely ripped and damaged but a promise is a promise. And the doctor did help him last time they saw each other. No matter how little weight Tara put on his leg, it did start to hurt after a while and Moonlight had treated the leg the best he could all that time ago
