The four ponies carrying the resident dragon entered the medical area and immediately moved to the vacant beds that were readily available, not even bothering to to move Archimedes off the stretcher and instead just placing the patient and the carrier directly onto it. All of them panting and sweating slightly, they sighed in relief as the weight was relieved after what seemed an eternity and only then did they take in the situation. Another occupant on a nearby bed, the pony that taught many of the fighting classes, and...
One by one their jaws dropped. Working and Moonlight had led to more than a few shared stories between them as friends, and one glance was all it took for them to know that this could only be the mare that their doctor had missed so mightily.

Moon continued to stand motionless in disbelief as the two ponies entered the "room". And even while he were aware that the others were there, it was only her that he seemed to see, as if all the others colours and speech was subdued, contrasting against the so clear colours and voice of her. He couldn't think of anything to say, and even if he would have, he probably would not have been able to say them... and still, there was a part of him that doubted.
It was only when she was near him and tackled him, with result of both of them now falling onto the cavern floor (not that he noticed much of that) that his mind began to process it, and when she kissed him, oh it all came back. Feeling an explosion of emotions (joy, passion, reassurance, love), he didn't, couldn't, answer her in words, but instead hugged her tightly and kissed her again. When done, he nuzzled into her, craving the so familiar closeness, and said the only thing that seemed to go through his mind at the moment. "It's you... It's you...!" He said, his voice almost a whisper, and Trixie would feel a slight dampness where her coat made contact with his eyes as he (unbeknownst to even himself) cried simple tears of joy.

Trixie smiled and giggled at what little words he was able to muster when he was finally able to speak. "Of course it's me Moonie, who else would it be? Oh how I've missed you!"
She nuzzled into his neck hugging him as tight as he hugged her. For the first time in over a year she felt a peace and safe. This was the feeling she had been longing for. Now that she was with the only important thing to her she could focus on the bigger things in life other than getting her love back. Namely taking back Equestria for all of pony kind and over throwing these evil leaders. But for now it could wait another day or so while she was enjoying being back with Moon. She sighed happily.

The events before him stemmed the tears a bit, but Deut couldn't help but remain troubled by his own problems. He didn't have anyone with whom he could share such moments, not anymore. His parents and sister were all off in other parts of the camp, and his prostects for finding love here felt impossible. He was in a position of authority as the camp translator, most p[onies probably didn't have time to talk, and those that did were already in relationships.
He cluthed his head and hissed in pain as the combination of Moon and his mate's elation at finallly seeing each other again and his own thoughts sent his migraine to an all-time high. He buried his head in the pillow, trying to shut it all out, but found himself unable. Not even repeatedly slamming his head into the pillow worked, in fact it only aggravated the situation.

Genesee smiled at the scene unfolding before him, heart swelling at his own memories of love, even if they were tainted along down the road. He wished the unicorn stallion all the luck in the world with Trixie, but in a way, believed they wouldn't even need it.
His ears angled to his senior battle instructor, Forte, who had addressed him. "Hm? Oh, yes, Forte, one moment.... I suppose we should let the doctor continue his business without us interrupting." Genesee got to his hooves and began to walk towards the entrance, locking eyes with Forte. "Let's talk in my quarters. Follow me." Genesee gave one last glance back to the inside of the grotto before leading the way out.

As they hugged, feeling a content closeness that he hadn't felt in what for him had been like forever, Moon was vaguely aware of the presence of all the other ponies in the room... But only vaguely. In fact, to put it lightly, they'd have to wait for now, because anything not involving Trixie at the moment was not of interest.
"I... Me too, I... I never thought I'd see you again." He says quietly, his voice thick with emotion as he nuzzled the top of her head, just breathing in the intoxicating and calming smell that was her. "I... I thought..." He begins before quieting himself, not wanting to think about that again, now that she was here. "She is alive, and she is here, and that is all that matters." He thinks, not ever wanting to part with her again.

"Please not even an army of changelings could stop me from see you. Which coincidently I may have had to fight." She laughs, though it sounds a bit nervous at that in particular. It was not a joke or a fond memory. But that was then and this, this was now. She didn't really care what was happening around them in the least at this moment.

Whilst the sight of Moon and Trixie's hertfelt reunion might have been heartwarming for some, alas, Deut was presently unable to experience such things. he knew his mind was going to taunt him with this, then show him both of them being killed in nasty ways...
"You might wanna stop letting this get to you, Deut..."
Hearing the other personality speak only made the situation worse. Deut slammed his head into the pillow so as to muffle his voice, and shouted "Shut up! Shut up, Pandy! You talking aggravates my migraine, and that is the last thing I need right now!"
He wouldn't be able to tell, but his other personality was becoming very concerned for Deut. Pandemonium was quite happy to see Trixie and Moon together again, in fact it made him feel a kind of warmth he wasn't sure he'd be able to feel whilst not having a physical body... But unfortunately, Deut's temper was being aggravated by this illness he had. Deut was almost never angry with anypony but himself, so it was normal to see him deprecating himself, but Pandy could tell that right now, Deut was just about ready to give up. Life had been hard for the past five years, and it was only going to get harder for him. A few years ago, Pandy wouldn't have cared, as a matter of fact he would have relished it, tried to make Deut's life even more horrible, but that was a long time ago, before Deut had got his therapy and befriended his other personality. Pandy had changed a lot, though Deut remained his predictable self. The alternate consciousness felt a pang of guilt that the power he'd once used against Deut didn't work the other way...

Archimedes lay peacefully in his place, undisturbed by the events around him. Softly, he began to snore in long, sawing snorts.

Moon smiled, but sadly, at hearing some of what she had gone through and hugs her just a little tighter... and was for a moment almost stunned with the realization of he had missed just that. He kisses the top of her head and nuzzles into her again to make sure this wasn't a dream, or his mind playing tricks on him. ¨ "Well it seems like it is not." He thinks with joy, electing to believe what his senses were telling him.
"Oh Trixie..." He mumbles, his eyes closed as he just enjoyed being. "I... I love you." He says, his heart pumping a little faster at getting to say that again. He then is just about to say something else when a thought hits him. "You... you aren't hurt are you?" He adds, the worry in his voice clearly audible.

The thoroughly disgruntled Deut shoved his head into his pillow again, folding the top over his ears, trying to block out any sound. The last thing he needed was an even worse headache, his current migraine was splitting him in half, it was a wonder he hadn't cried out in pain. Admittedly, he understood the importance of the situation, but he wished that somepony would at least talk to him... in such a way that didn't aggravate his migraine. The snoring of the dragon nearby was not helping in the slightest.
He cursed fate for conspiring to make him feel as awful as it could. It was as if when Pandy stopped, fate had taken over the role of destroying him. First this illness, now all this noise and other stuff keeping him from at the very least trying to go back to sleep , and even worse, aggravating his migraine so much he could hardly move. It was only a matter of time before he flew off the handle...

Archimedes grunted peacefully and rolled without warning on top of Deut. He mistook the pony for a pillow, and yanked him out from under his scales. He squeezed him, without opening his eyes and laid his scaly head down on Deut's warm, furry side with all the force and weight of a sleeping dragon.

He squeezed him, without opening his eyes and laid his scaly head down on Deut's warm, furry side with all the force and weight of a sleeping dragon. Just as soon as Deut thought things could not get any worse, this happened. Being crushed by the waight of a dragon was very, very painful, and what made it worse was when Archie squeezed him. At that present moment, Deut gagged, and whatever was in his stomache at the time was ejected from his mouth, partly onto the floor and partly onto the bed beside him. With a quiet "Why me...", tears began leaking from Deut's eyes again as he finally started crying.

Archie felt the jarring of his pillow underneath with each sob. He heard the tears of misery and cracked an eyelid long enough to realize his pillow was a pony.
He blinked sleepily and took the pony out from under him. Carefully, he set the colt on the bed next to him, narrowly avoiding the vomit and laid himself back down to sleep. A single mumble, "sorry," drifted from the dragon's lips in a puff of smoke before the snoring resumed.

Deut sniffed as the Dragon apologised, slowly calming himself down. Now that Archie had forced some of his stomache acids out of him, he felt even worse.

After just a little more snuggling Trixie finally came to the realization that there were other ponies in the room. She coughed a bit to get Moon's attention and slowly stood up glancing at the rooms other occupants. She didn't know the pony in the least, but the dragon.. He looked familiar to her, his scales were certainly the right color and he seemed to be of age. She looked to Moon and gestured towards the dragon. "Hey Moon, is that dragon's name Archimedes by any chance?"

While not getting an answer to his question put him a little off, her cough and subsequent act of standing up, brought him too to the attention that they indeed weren't alone in the cave. To be completely honest, he'd rather just be with Trixie for just... a little while longer but he was quick to push that away as he stood up and saw what he had just neglected.
"Oh dear..." He mumbled with a worried expression on his face as he approaches the sleeping dragon and the clearly not in a good way Deut, feelings of guilt quickly gripping at his heart. "I..." He starts but he quickly realizes that he doesn't know what to say, in fact if he could say anything. Instead, keeping his mouth a thin line on his face, he elects to just start helping, which he began by cleaning up the mess Deut had made. The bed, which was, like most of the beds in camp, mostly made off of simple straw so he just used his magic to float away what needed to be replaced. He'd take care of that later. The vomit on the floor was taken care off by a piece of cloth with which he quickly scrubbed away most of the sour-smelling substance.
It was then that Trixie's voice reached him, so he quickly turned around to answer. "Why... Yes. How'd you...?" It was however also now that his eyes fell to her exposed side and the wound (it didn't matter that it was only a slight one!) that was there. "Ah, you are hurt!" He says, worry still seeping into his voice in spite of his brain telling him that the scratch was only a minor one, as the cloth he'd used was being floated away to where he had put the straw.

"Hm?" Trixie looked to the grazed side that the saber had hit and shrugged.
"Don't worry about it Moon, I'm fine. I have endured much worse then a simple cut. Also.. Because Archie was my first friend when I returned to Ponyville and Canterlot." She smiled warmly remembering the little guy.

Deut wasn't sure if the correlation was anything to go on, but after that episode his migraine actually seemed to be a bit better... Nevertheless, Deut too began feeling a bit guilty as he watched Moon clean up after him, wordlessly. Was all that melodrama he'd just experienced really necessary? Had he only made himself worse with all that? Nevertheless, he rolled onto his back again, sighing.
He wondered too if it would be prudent to tell Moon about those dreams... Maybe it would make sense, considering he'd probably know how to deal with them better than most ponies here...

The unicorn frowned at that, even though the worry was still clearly visible in his features. While parts of his brain was still telling him not to stress over this, those voices were in very much a minority as many a worst case scenario flashed before his inner eye.
"No no no, you can never know. I-It could get infected or... I mean, ah... no. Let me just, ah... I'll be right back." He quickly states before turning around, heading towards the back wall of the cave where most of the medical supplies were kept. He didn't waste any time and so quickly returned, several objects floating in the air with him, enveloped in the blue magic of his. His first stop where with Deut, who he offered a clay mug filled with a cold, translucent liquid which was commonly known as water. "Here, drink this." He says, offering the fellow unicorn a quick but kind smile before turning around to Trixie.
Floating in his magic was now both some moss, which had been dipped in the brew he had made previously, and some cloth which he would use to attach said moss. "I won't take no for an answer." He says, the decisive look he usually reserved for patients who didn't want to listen on his face for a few seconds before breaking out into a worried pout. "It'll only take a moment... and you can, uh, tell me about you an Archimedes in the meantime."

Deut slowly sat up and gulped down the cool water. At the very least, it made his throat feel better after having been attacked by his stomache acids.

He gives her a quick but decisive shake of his head in return. The look he is giving her though is more just simply worried than anything else. "Well... yes... Please?" The last word he added was accompanied by a careful bow of his head. "It'll really only take a moment. I... Just want to be sure."

"I don't want you wasting medical supplies that have got to be scarce on such a pityful injury. I know you love me and are trying to make sure I'm safe, but you don't have too. I'll be fine I promise" She smiles kissing his cheek.

He looked like he was going to resist for a few moments before his ears and head droops down, a bit hopelessly. She was right after all, he admitted to himself, not feeling too proud of himself there... he was supposed to be the camp doctor after all, and he couldn't exactly make a habit out of using the camps resources on those close to him without needing to. But still, even though he didn't it too, the anxiety still gnawed at him. "I'm... you're right. Just... tell me if it starts to bother you, okay?" He says as he floats away the things he had brought with him to their proper places.

"I promise you I will tell you if it does Moon. Oh! I have some books here in my saddle bags that you left me with a year or so ago. Along with a few medical magic books that might help." She smiled pulling out the books with her magic floating them over to Moon.
"Also Genese told me to talk to you about how I can help out around here, with my illusionairy magic."

The prospects of new books served as reason enough for him to forget some of his worries and Moon gladly takes them from Trixie with his own magic. "Oh, these will absolutely be of help! Thank you for holding on to these." He says as he floats the book close, flashing Trixie a quick but honest smile before quickly inspecting the books and floating them away to look over them more closely later. What she says after that also sends move a pleasant thought as it helped remind him that she'd become a part of the camp now.
"Oh, right, yes I suppose I can help with that. But ah, give me a few moments first. I have to, well, finish what I started, don't I?" He says, nodding towards the patients that still were in the cave, giving Trixie an excusing smile. "I'll help however I can when I'm done here, okay?"

"Is there anyway I can help you out here? You know with your patients?" Trixie watches Moon move around the cavern. She walks over to Archie and smiles at the sleeping dragon.

Moon watches her trot over to Archie with a small smile while he picked up the book he had dropped before, dusting it off before starting to read from where he had left. "What I need is some kind of reliever for Deuterium..." He thought while he carefully, but also rather quickly, scanned the pages for an appropriate concoction.
"Well, since you're already standing there with Archimedes, why don't you try and see if there's anything wrong with him? I haven't had a chance to look over him yet because of... ah... yeah." He said, blushing a little but trying to remain professional. He then, after a few moments of reading found an appropriate draught that'd help a bit with Deut's situation and so trotted to where the herbs and ingredients were kept, picking off what he needed.
