Onyx looked Flux in the eye, "Flux, get this door welded shut. We don't want whatever's in there getting out." Now getting slightly annoyed at the water pouring from the ceiling, Onyx flapped his wings a few times and brought himself just off the ground. "I'm gonna go deal with the sprinklers. If I'm remembering right, there's a shut-off switch just in one of these nearby rooms." He looked in the nearest one, nope. Next, nope. Third, nothing. The fifth door he checked, now a fair distance from the rest of the group, contained what he believed to be what he was looking for. He walked over to the lever, and took a deep breath as he pulled on it.

Archimedes stood up in the wet, his fear no longer controlling his actions as he stared at the door. He stood aside to let the doc get at the pony and continued to stare at the door, completely in shock.
"What was that?" He asked at last, taking stock of the situation. He noted Moxie running down the hall, ponies just standing around and anticipated Flux's grimace or worse at the captain's comment. Finally, he rested his gaze on *her*.
He readied Celestia's Beacon for whatever might come next as he took in her apparent exhaustion. He sighed. He *really* wanted some answers, but some things came first. He jogged after the trainee. She would need some calming dragon love while they concentrated on what to do next. "Moxie!"

Now that the mare had made it successfully through the door Trixie was in battle mode quickly scanning the area behind the door to see if she could spot anything. The flamer thrower this mare had seemed to scare whatever it was off. She wanted to get a better look behind that door from where she stood, so she opted to shoot a mage light through the entrance illuminating the area behind it for all who might be looking. She war ready to protect all the ponies in this room with her magic and shotgun, though whatever genius decided to give her such a limited amount of ammunition would surely get a talking to if she survived this ordeal.

Picking the mare up with his magic, before placing her on back, Strong look at the doctor.
"Doc, let's get her out of here. I don't know what that thing was, but I don't want her near it. Specially when she is like this, let's get going."
Strong started to walk back to the others with the mare on his back. She is a little heavier than she looks. Good thing I've been keeping myself in good shape on this trip. Strong adjusted her so he could keep his weapon ready. I hope there aren't any more of... whatever that thing was.

(Sorry for the late post all, been busy. The posting schedule will return to normal after this. If the RP doesn't resolve itself by the end of October, and at this pace it probably won't, we can take it into November. While this posting gap has been solely my fault, I will urge you all to post quickly after I do so that we can keep the plot moving at a brisk pace. Remember, I'm shooting for one update a day, and I cant acomplish that if only two of you post a day. )
The three stun rounds from Strong's stun gun fire off into the darkness, the crackling sound of the electricity followed by a piercing shriek. The doorway would stay open just long enough for Trixie to shine her light inside, though the metallic entrance slams shut before she can get a good visual on who, or what was lurking in the shadows.
Onyx's efforts would eventually merit results, as the sprinkler systems deactivate. By this point however, every member of the crew would be completely soaked, as if they took a jump in a lake. From just above the yellow pegasus, something warm would drip down onto his forehead. It felt quite similar to saliva.
sssssss....
By the time Achimedes chose to pursue, Moxie would have already put a good amount of distance between them. The more she ran, the more the terrified mare would come to realize that more than just a crewmate was tracking her. She was being watched and followed by something, something out for blood. Was this paranoia justified? Or was she merely losing it?

Moxie was running blindly in her terror, only becoming worse by the horrible feeling of being tracked. She hadn't a clue what was in these corridors but she knew for certain it had come from Tartarus itself. She desperately wanted to fly into the safety of a cloud high above this hell-hole, but her mind screamed at her to not attempt it. One, there really weren't any clouds besides some dust storms that kinda resembled them. And two, trying to fly outside would severely compromise her space suits' pressurized state. She was asking for one hell of a bloody nose and could potentially even pass out and die. She shook her head to try to get herself to calm down as she continued to bolt for the door to the outside. Not sure if she was truly being followed or not by something sinister, Moxie just wanted to get back to the one place she could actually see what might be coming for her. The observatory tower she had only just come from.
Spotting the door just up ahead, Moxie reared and smashed her hooves down upon the Exit button on the control panel to attempt to open the door to let her back out.

Cobblestone raised a hoof, catching the last drops of water. "That's better. I swear, if somepony said 'at least it doesn't rain'..." She rolled her eyes, still not having been able just what exactly all the fuss was about aside from finding another pony on this base.
She sighed and looked around the panicked chaos that was their group, then frowned. "Say, who exactly did turn off the sprinklers? Did anypony else go with them?"

Onyx heard Cobblestone over the comms and answered, "I did. Don't worry, I'm fi-" His words were cut short when he noticed the strange substance hit his forehead. His voice faltered slightly as he spoke, "I'll, uh. I'll be there in a couple seconds." He turned and ran out the door as fast as he could manage, back towards the group at the door.

The doctor had turned his head to answer the captain of the ship, a rather irritated (as well as scared) look on his face. "She's clearly chocked, eh, sir. Pulse is elevated... but I'll need to take a closer look to be sure-" But suddenly his patient was taken from him, without him having much it say about it, so he rather angrily turned around to see their security officer starting to trot away with her. He didn't know rightly why, but he was quite angry about this. Maybe this place was getting to him more than he cared to admit, but it still didn't stop him from standing up, shaking his head sharply to get his now soaked mane out of his eyes so he could properly glare at the stallion. "H-Hey! I said she needed space! You can't just, agh!" He stopped himself from saying anything more, instead stomping a hoof down hard onto the metal flooring in frustration, but his heart likewise pounded in his chest. Strong was right to be honest, this wasn't exactly the best place to keep a patient, but the doctor likewise wished the ponies around him could calm down... he couldn't handle all this stress at once.

Archimedes felt rushed, a growing fear knotting in his gut as he realized where she was going - alone. He had to make sure she was safe. He bolted into full overdrive and ran. Who knows what else might be in here, now? For all he knew that wasn't the only one, and even *if* there were more, would there be anything he could do?
That didn't matter now. All that did was getting her and getting back to the group. Safety in numbers and all that jazz.
Speaking of, he tapped into his comm and spoke in a rushed voice to all that had thiers. "I need at least two ponies to help me at the observation deck, now! Moxie, if you have your communicator on, I need you to calm down and come back. It's dangerous to be alone right now."

Tara meanwhile settled for quietly trotting to a corner of the room, observing the whole scenario without voicing his own opinion. Not that he had one. Several crew members had fled the room, the others were either yelling, arguing or talking about sprinklers and he felt totally out of place. Not even the pilot would be able to be guidance for him at this point.
He just kept to himself with his own thoughts and waited for somepony to finally take control of the situation. He surely wouldn't do that.

The chaos was quite a bit for the pilot as well - though it was entertaining - he'd have none of it. Once the gift of a shower was over, he looked around and found his co-pilot doing what he was already planning on doing. 'Smart kid' he thought, grinning slightly. If he wasn't in the situation, he couldn't get in trouble with the captain, and you do not mess with the captain.
Seller, glancing back for a moment, trotted over and sat next to his co-pilot with a sight. His leaned over and quietly whispered - with the chaos of every pony else talking on the other end of the room to hide his voice, "I think we should head back to the ship. I might be able to just let you and myself in... We are the most important ponies here - especially me - unless that stranger's an interstellar pilot, which I doubt, I'm the only pony here who could take these fools home."

While getting prodded wasn't on her list of things to do today, neither was getting carried away like some useless cargo. Trying desperately to catch her breath, the longer he ran with her, the more her mind continued to gaze over everything she once knew so well. From the hallway that she herself ran down towards to get escape to the doors that crossed her path before, Plush Ramen tried to speak to the stallion carrying her as she saw the obvious medical pony after them.
"S-top. You.. cant run from them!"
Her voice was broken and short, yet it had become clear to his ears as she found her coat now completely soaked. Imagining that her body not counting it soaked wasn't an easy one to lift, she could feel herself feeling thankful, despite the danger they were all in. She had encountered these beasts before, and she could tell first hoof that there was never a way to escape unless.. unless they could fly away. In doing so, they would need a new ship.. which seemed ultimately impossible from that moment on.
"There are.. too many"

As everyone tried to act at once, getting in each other's way and acting according to no real plan, Flux had simply taken a few steps backward and watched them with a rather unamused look. If he'd had a cigar and smoked, he would have lit it up to complete the picture. Not that that would be likely anyway, as everything in the room had been drenched, and he wasn't going to waste what could have been a limited supply of air by filling it with smoke. He took in the scene and how everyone suddenly seemed to scramble away, finally getting some space.
He stalked up to the door that had banged closed and knelt down, retrieving his torch from his hip once more. Luckily the frame was elevated above the rest of the floor a little to accommodate the seal it had to have, which allowed him to brush off most of the water to clear the threat of electrocuting anyone. He worked across the base, putting down several tackwelds to keep the metal from warping and then giving it a secure seal of melted metal, grumbling to himself all the while. When he was finished he heard Archie's voice over the comms and he lifted a hoof to his own, depressing the transmitter. "Affirmative, Archie, I'll meet you there." He stood back up, stowed his torch, and threw a slight glare in the direction everyone had rushed off to before shaking his head slightly and trotting towards the observation deck.

Oh, great there are more of these things... Strong thought, as he listened to the mare on his back. Strong walked back to the were the ploits and the other were before speaking the to his Pegasus passenger.
"Hey, now miss um... I got you, ok? Your pretty light and you need to take a second to rest and calm down. I will put you down, when I know you will be safe. My name is Strong Defence and I'm the security officer on the SS mercury. What is your name?"
Strong trying his best to calm her down, he need answers about whatever that thing he had shot was. Keep his guard up, as he waited for the Doctor to come take a better look at her now, that they were farther away from that thing.

Due to being commonly put in situations like this Trixie had learned to keep calm under pressure and try to think, she cast a glance at the Motion Tracker knowing what ever was behind the orange mare surely wasn't going to leave them alone. She the carefully scanned the area for any entrances that could accommodate a creature possibly bigger than her.

Cobblestone narrowed her eyes, standing up and cantering after Flux to catch up to him. She kept a step distance to the side so as not to startle him, then closed in as soon as he'd noticed and recognized her to press a hoof down at his neck while they walked. "Now what was that about staying in groups, Mister? I'd expect some of the others to do stupid things from anxiety, but I thought you would be smarter than that."

It took the earth pony a few seconds to notice that he was spoken to by the Pilot. He had been lost in his thoughts while staring at the chaos in front of him. It also took him another few seconds to figure out what to answer to the Pilot "H-huh? But we can't just leave them behind, can we? I-I mean there certainly is something dangerous behind that door!"
Just as he said those words he slowly realized something. Yes. There was something very dangerous behind that door. Why in the name of Tartarus is anypony even still here, hanging out just in front of the door that is keeping something horrible and dangerous away from them?! With this sudden thought in mind, he turned to look at the Pilot, having a little, unsure smile on his face, trying to look halfway serious and not as scared as he was "Actually...lets go right now. You are right. Without us, the others would be completely lost. We should secure ourselfs and not endager the crews return home by staying so close to whatever is behind that door."
Tarascha got up and nodded again towards the unicorn pilot "I'm right behind you, Sir"

As soon as Cobblestone had touched the stallion's neck he stopped, closing his eyes and taking a slow breath consciously keeping from snapping at her. He hadn't known the mare was there until a few seconds before the contact, but after the chaos and complete disregard of protocol that nearly half the crew had taken part in he was still rather irked.
"I'll give you points for making it this far," he sighed, "but you really ought to keep in mind everything that could possibly go wrong." He gave a pointed glance at his wing; while his hooves hadn't moved at all, most ponies tended to forget that a pegasus's wings were for more than just doing loops in the air and restocking quills, and the welding torch at the end of his, pointed directly at her chest from slightly below, was proof enough of that. "Walk more quietly and don't try to sneak up on ponies who are already in the mood to try melting someone's sternum with several hundred kilovolts."

"Yes, good, good." Seller hummed quietly, looking about the room, then to the door that the crew came from that leads back to the ship, "It'll be quite a walk, but there shouldn't be anything inside the ship, unless there's a hull breach... it should be completely, one-hundred-percent safe." he whispers to his co-pilot, making sure nopony else hears him and decides to tag along.
Casually and carefully, Seller starts walking towards the door at the other end of the room, the one everypony isn't focused on, the one that works and is hopefully trouble-free. If worst came to worst, he could chuck the co-pilot at any danger, seeing as the pilot was far more important than a co-pilot. He was just there to learn and allow the wonderfully talented pilot time to nap, as Seller had come to realize.

(Alright kiddos, time for things to get serious. No more going easy on you lot. ) BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. The sharp beeping of motion trackers sound through the metal corridors. Upon inspection, it would become frighteningly clear to anypony with a motion tracker that they were being surrounded. Dozens of foreign dots fill the screen around them, all at varrying distances. As Onyx desperately try's to make his way back to his comrades, the grate below him would force itself open knocking the electrician to the ground. Half emerging from the ground, was an absolutely grotesque looking creature, with no eyes. It was barely visible in the darkness, the shining off of its head and it's cruel looking teeth being all that have it away. Hissing, the creature reaches out with two long arms, adorned with long and sharp claws, and sinks them into Onyx's leg. It would then proceed to try and drag the pony beneath the floor grate, it was incredible strong. Just as the door would begin to open, a great weight would crash on top of the unsuspecting Moxie, pinning her into the ground. Sharp claws would dig into the mare's sides, easily puncturing her space suit. A powerful set of jaws clamps against Moxie's neck, killing her slowly as it ripped and tore at her jugular. RIP MOXIE

Onyx yelled as he tried to pull himself from the creature. He began screaming into the comms, hoping someone would come save him. As his grasp started to slip, his mind raced. To think, the calm electrician was now screaming his lungs out. The thought sent shivers down his spine. He felt a small surge of energy, and began flapping his wings furiously, hoping to hold on for just a bit longer until someone, anyone, could come help.

Nova snapped out of his train of thought from the yelling that disrupted the silence. Nova quickly spun around, pulling out his pistol "Onyx?" Nova thought. He moved in, placing his coms right to his mouth and spoke "Anyone who still around the area where we opened that heavy door, I require assistance." He moved in quietly, still grasping the pistol in his magical grip. Leaning against the wall. "Onyx is down. I repeat onyx is down." He spoke once more and moving into the area where Nova believes that Onyx is. He spots the yellow pegeasus trying to fly himself out of the hole on the ground. Nova ran to him and grabbed onto his hooves, trying to help one of his crew out. To help him focus better he managed to lower his focus on his magical grasp on his pistol. Thus dropping it behind Nova. His struggling and grunting could be heard from the coms as well.

Something felt wrong, very wrong. Seller heard the screaming from the comms, and didn't care to ask any questions. This wasn't about team work, this was about his own damn survival - and maybe his co-pilot if he makes it. He was a fast runner, he could probably sprint it to the ship without getting hurt -- the complex wasn't that large after all... probably.
He looked to the co-pilot and batted a hoof towards himself; indicating for him to follow. "Let's go." Seller called out in a small whisper, before pushing the door-panel and sprinting down the corridor; heading back to the ship.
If he got to the ship, the deal he made with that executive should give him high enough codes to override the lock. Once he - and maybe his copilot - are inside, they can lock it down again and wait to see if any of the crew make it to the ship as well. If they do, he can tell them the conditions on getting back aboard his ship. Boy would it be fun to see the captain & crews faces when he says 'nuh uh. You can't come on'.

Tara got up almost instantly after the Pilot had motioned towards him. He was completely scared now. The screams, the panic, the chaos. Everything had gotten to him at this point and he just followed the pilot without asking any questions. He sprinted after the unicorn through the door and towards the ship, just a few steps of distance between them.
He was clueless of what to do and who to follow. Logically, it should be his Captain but for some reason, he trusted the Pilot more with his promises of safety and a calm place to hide away from everything that was going wrong with the mission. Tara would follow the Pilots orders and everything should be fine. He was sure of it. Nothing could happen to him once he reached the ship and hid behind the strong doors.

Archimedes managed to buzz an affirmative to Flux as he raced down the corridor. Rounding the last turn, he saw the door, the creature, and finally Moxie.
"Nooooo!" Archimedes screamed, his adrenaline leaping into overdrive. He buckled, anger rising alongside his fear. He wanted to fight, but the primal sight before him stopped him in his tracks. He saw how she had no chance. Finally, he shook his head and ran back towards the others. "I'm sorry, Moxie!" He shouted at his guilt.
Stricken with his panic, he opened the comm and shouted, "Moxie's dead! Moxie's Bucking dead! Any ponies in pursuit, we need to find a way off this station *now*!" But he only heard screaming from the other end. His mind raced as he thought about those creatures tearing into the others.
He could feel the tingles down his spine that said he was being watched. He knew the sensation, but there was nothing he could do but be cautious. His mind played tricks as he scanned the cieling, the vents, the floors, the walls. Celestia's Beacon was lit, aiding in his perception. The only sensemble of hope he had was in that brilliantly glowing white light. He only hoped he could reach the rest of them before...

Any retort that Cobblestone may have had for Flux was cut off as he jerked away with a sharp groan, clutching his head and ripping his helmet off. The sudden screaming and yelling had oversaturated his earpiece and sent out a high-pitched ring. After a few seconds of rubbing his ear he lifted the helmet back into place...just in time to hear Archie's panicked report about Moxie. He wanted so badly to continue onward, to check for himself if nothing else, but he knew Archie. Nothing would send the dragon into such fear if it wasn't deserved, and while he sometimes had a crude sense of humor he would never make a joke like this.
His eyes had widened at the news and it felt like part of him had been ripped away. He wasn't particularly close with their recruit, but a pony didn't go on a mission that took this long without getting to know the others with him a bit. The regret, however, soon turned to an anger of sorts, and he ground his teeth together, grabbing Cobblestone's leg and racing back the other direction to meet with the dragon. "Come on!"

Cobblestone frowned and nodded, pulling her leg back to herself again so they could move faster. She pulled out her nailgun with grim determination and held it between her teeth, so she could grab and aim it faster. She followed a step after Flux, not quite as fast as the pegasus but also watching out for anything that might try to ambush them.

No longer watching the others, Plush tried to collect her breathing the best she could. Each inhale was greeted with a familiar exhale, causing the heart to only beat faster as they begun to slow down. Why was he slowing down!? Hearing the pony's name and trying to remember it, his voice echoed through her head as she attempted to speak for him once more.
"M-y name is Plush.. Ramen."
Hearing the sounds of a mare screaming, Plush could only look down at the stallion holding her in fear. Their own team was in danger, and he was worried about some stranger? Admiring his dedication to his mission, her thoughts were quickly interrupted as she tried to think of a direction to lead them in.
"We mustn't stay in one place too long. Quick! Make a right and keep going! Your team is in grave danger!"

Trixie eyes widened in shock, they were entirely surrounded and most certainly were about to lose more with the way everypony was panicing. Trixie ran over to the medic she knew his services were going to be needed shortly with this mass panic. She readied her shotgun and prepared to fire it if she needed to. Her horn was a glow with her magic as she quickly scanned the area around her. It was a matter of life or death so she prepared for the worse and readied herself. She spoke loudly to Moon in a serious tone. "Listen up Moon, we are going to be needing you shortly. As far as I can tell we are pretty screw, we need to get out of here so we can fix these ponies up. Got it?!"
