The doctor watched with a pounding heart as everything seemed to intensify. "Come on, hurry it up..." He mumbled under his breath, as he watched the door from which the urgent-sounding screams were behind was being taken care off. Too slowly if you asked him, but there was little he could do here, as his profession was with living things rather than objects.

With Captain Nova, Pilot Seller and now also the Cobblestone looking up at the source of the gross liquid, Tara also dared to look upwards, still hiding his grey furred body behind Seller out of fear while considering Cobblestones words.
"G-guys! I dont think thats just an oil leak! That stuff felt warm and gross. Nothing like oil at all!" He spoke these words out in a nervous tone, not believing for a second that this was "just some leaking pipe".

Moxie had moved out of the way of all the other ponies, getting a bit overwhelmed by all the action at the door. Her ears fell as she realized she hadn't been able to deal with this on her own without having to get the whole crew involved, but hey. It's not like this was a routine job...
Ignoring the nagging feeling of disappointment, the young mare shifted her thoughts to the pony still trapped on the other side.
Her frantic screams had gotten even more so, and Moxie felt her stomach turn when she began to detect a tone in the voice behind the door that didn't settle right. Slowly, a suffocating feeling of dread began to creep upon her and tighten in her throat as she realized the indications of the colonist's frantic screams. Something was in there with her.
"Stop! STOP!!" Moxie bolted to the door, flailing her hooves. What ever had wiped out over 200 ponies could very well be waiting for them on the other side of this door. Moxie's pounding heart made her believe it even more. She had felt sinister eyes on her the entire time they had been there, but maybe it had only been eyes because the walls had held the dark force BACK. "ITS IN THERE TOO! DONT OPEN THE BUCKING DOOR!""

(Basilisk, you can only post a MAXIMUM of two times between my posts. I'm having a mod delete your third post. )
Emerging from the darkness behind Plush Ramen, a sinister, grotesque set of fingers reach out for her slowly, the rest of the figure completely veiled by the shadows.
HIIISSSSSSS....
Trixie's motion tracker would show a second dot behind the mare. She definitely wasn't alone in there, though the motion tracker has been known to pick up strange readings lately.
The light shined up on the roof above Seller and Tara would reveal nothing but pipes, and a slow, steady drip of the strange goop.
At first, the door was too stubborn to move. After a bit of motivation from Archimedes however, the blast door began to rise slightly. It wasn't enough for a pony to fit through. Though it was wide enough to stick your arm through.
(Sorry for the short post. I'll make up for it next post, I'm just at work lol )

Now in the desperation for her life, Plush flicks open her flamethrower before letting loose a small yet extremely heated blast of fire to the creature that touched her. Visible to the outside that new light was being used, the mare hoped she had enough to survive this trapped disaster. Noticing the door opening ever so slightly, blue orbs widen at the miracle of the strength from behind. While the good feeling of freedom from this hell was heart warming, it was also short lived for the mare's voice on the other side worried her beyond the beast.
"It's gone, quickly! Lift this door wider! I can help you guys through this! Just OPEN THE DOOR!"
(How many ponies and dragons does it take to open A DOOR. XD Dem locked doors.))

(Yeah, based on the design of these doors, being only supposed to be opened by one pony, even with the power off, I'd think there's something stuck in it. SOMEPONY CHECK IF FOREST IS STUCK IN THE DOOR! )

Cobblestone looked up at the leak for a few seconds, then shrugged. "Well, that was anticlimactic. We should ask the doc if he can figure out what that stuff is, though." She looked up again and tilted her head. "What kind of base has their piping installed open across the ceiling, anyway?"

Onyx sprinted over and started helping Archi open the door. If we can just get it high enough for the pony on the other side to squeeze through, we can close it right after. Hopefully whatever else is in there can't fit through the opening as well. Onyx halfway yelled through the comms, "If we can get it just a bit higher, we can get whoever's in there out. We need more muscle to do this!" He put all of his strength into lifting the door.
(It must really be jammed!)

"B-but...I..." Tara was slowly calming down while he looked up at the dripping pipes. At least it wasn't a monster, drooling down on him to eat his head and guts but still. That goop felt so weird! He slowly stepped away from Seller while staring between the pipes, the strange luiqid and the unicorn to the side of him. He was afraid to speak up at the moment. He knew that the pilot could have quite the tempter and he didnt want to anger him. And he was still his boss! He was supposted to learn from this pony so maybe, he could fly a ship on his own one day. So he took a deep breath and spoke up.
"W-what do you think this is? It's obviously not oil..." His voice faded just as quickly as his courage and he ended in a silent mumble.

Seller felt a very strong urge to put his hoof in the slime and hold it up to his face -- but the idea of dirtying his nails easily fended it off. Seller was already outraged by the fact that he had to go two days without a shower! His mane looked ratchet!
Being the pilot, Seller felt that he had to maintain a certain level of cleanliness to make himself look reliable and dependable to fly a ship! It took serious brain power to set the trajectory right; rubber-banding around planets gravity, getting into/out of orbits, scanning intensively for any anomalies, gathering & reserving power, and especially landing! Serious math went into navigating through space, and he had to look the part, because nopony can just see genius! That and -- nopony is attracted to an unclean stallion~
"Maybe -- sewage from the floor above?" Seller suggests, glancing to Tara and taking another step back. Whatever was going on, Seller wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. He upturned his snout and trotted over to see what was going on with this whole 'door' situation. Let the captain & Co-pilot deal with the sewage...

Trixie's words sent a chill up Flux's spine. The stallion was torn between trying to help lift the door and standing back at the ready for something else, and he made a few nervous steps before settling himself standing back with his torch. Two creatures behind the door, the gouts of light flashing from behind it, the screams...it seemed the crew was going to get more answers than they had counted on right now. The hum on his back from the torch's power supply unit brought him some comfort as he grit his teeth and waited. With the amount of strain being put on the door it wouldn't last much longer, and who knew what hell was waiting to break loose from behind it?

Ok, so it looks like what was going on with the pilots was nothing, but to be on the safe side I will keep a eye on them. Now there seems to be something in the room with her and judging by how much she is screaming, I don't think it friendly, to say the least. Strong was at the ready for whatever was on the other side of that door, after all this mare might be the one that's responsible for the missing colonist. Now, just remember to keep calm and ready to move if you need to.

It became apparent that whatever was responsible for the colony's emptiness was behind that door with her. Archimedes strained under the weight of the unusually stubborn door, but somehow the panic around him and in him brought out a hidden strength mere product-checking never had and he put even more into the effort.
"As soon as the door lifts, come through!" He managed through gritted teeth as sweat poured down his face. "Can't! Let! Her! Die!" He said with each rough heave against the door.

Tarascha took a few deep breaths and thought about the situation. So that goop turned out not the be a monster...which was great. And what Seller had said made sense to him. Just some leaking pipes with dirty liquid dropping out of it. It sounded more dangerous and scary than it actually was. And then there also was this whole thing with the other members of the crew who kept on yelling about some door or something. And, after all he was still supposted to learn from the pilot. If Seller judged this situation as unworthy or not dangerous, he would do too.
A few seconds after Seller began moving, Tara did so too, turning around to follow the Pilot to his new destination. He did take a few glances back at the leaking pipes though every few seconds to make sure nothing would jump the two ponies from behind.

Nova placed the end of the heavy item down gently as he sprinted to help Archie. Slapping himself mentally that this ship doors can be opened manually with some force of course. Once he reached by Archie side, Nova placed his hoofs under the door as well, exherting his force to kept the door lifted as well. "Flux forget that plan and help us lift the door! That's an order!" Nova yelled as he tried lifting up the door along with archie.

Flux paused, his face hardening slightly. No higher-ranking member of any crew, captain or not, should ever use the words 'that's an order', whether they think it necessary or not. Over a career spent contracting to various space enterprises the pegasus had learned very quickly that, especially in ships of smaller crew, if someone had to invoke their rank to get someone to do something, they were often not the best candidate for that position. With a flat expression he pointedly looked at where a dragon and both Onyx and Nova were already filling the space of a door that looked to be for a maximum of two ponies, not even walking abreast. It made sense; it wasn't as if armies were going to be marching into the food storage area with any regularity.
Having the laws of physics on his side in this he didn't move, welding torch at the ready for any potential use it might have. "With all due respect, I'll stay here. Sir," he added, letting a bit of sarcasm slip into the word. He glanced around, taking stock of who was where in the event that he needed to move to help anyone else.

Moxie cringed when the door heaved up, now having a small opening to whatever was inside with the mare. Fear gripped at her heart as cold dread continued to wash over her. Swallowing hard, she began to back away from the door, mind numb with apprehensive terror. Stumbling slightly, she backed up until her back was flush with the opposite corridor wall, trembling from head to hoof. Gripping at the only thing even close to a weapon, Moxie's left hoof tightened around her flashlight at her waist as she watched the others battle with the door.

SCREEEEE!
The quick burst of flame was more than enough to scare the creature, though it didn't stick around long enough to show if the attack actually did any damage. It's figure slips away into the darkness, and away from Plush. Small tuffs of flame stick to the floor, the heat from the burst triggering the overhead sprinklers in not just the cramped room, but the hallway and subsequent room where the pilots and Cobblestone were in. In mere moments, everypony would be soaked.
The gentle sound of water hitting the metallic floor, complimented by the shouting of the crew members outside would be harshly interrupted by loud hissing, and the scrapping and patting of claws hitting the floor. The burnt creature was livid, and charging at the orange mare in the darkness.
Finally, with the combination of Achimedes, Basilisk and Onyx, the door opened wide enough for Plush to fit through; Plush, and whatever was following her if it wasn't shut fast enough.

As the door open Strong saw something moving in the darkness towards the mare. The Buck is that thing?! Strong grabbed the Mare in his telekinetic grip pulling her to his side, as he took aim at the creature moving towards her.
"Close the Goddesses damn door, before that Thing gets through!" Strong screamed as he putted the Mare through the open door.
As soon as the mare was clear of his shot, Strong shot three stun rounds at the creature. Buck that thing to Tartus, Strong thought as he brought the Mare to his side, as he fired off the third shot.
(Plush said putting her though was cool.)

Initially feeling relieve course through her body as the creature screamed in pain, Plush managed to grin to herself in mere tears of joy. Getting drenched from the waters above however, widened blue sapphire orbs panicked in realization at what was about to occur. Fire meant burning, burning meant pain, water meant.. soothing! Screaming and clenching her eyes for the end, a colorful movement of her body had caused her to spread her eyelids back apart as the door finally managed to open. Soaked to the bone and still holding her make shift barely usable fire extinguisher, the mare tried to calm her heart rate in fright. Noticing she was no longer in the storage room, her legs had been too wobbly to actually stand as she found herself collapsing to the floor.
"Its... its coming.. We're all doomed.. Its coming again.. I cant take it.."

As soon as the door was open, Archimedes felt a rising panic that had laid dormant under piles of logic and self assurances nearly flood his senses. 'What the hell!?' Was what he was thinking. What came out was more a cross between a shriek and a scream that came from the inside of a dark cave filled with misty fear.
He held on for as long as his fear let him and let the door go as soon as Plush was through. He stumbled backwards, clambering over her to get away.
"Shut the door! Shut it now!!" He screamed.

The dragon's panic was too much. Moxie's fear hit a climax that sent her into a panic when she saw the dragon bolt and heard the fear in his voice. Whatever he had seen under the door had freaked him out bad, and she wasn't sticking around for when it got out. With a terrified whinny, the young mare bolted down the corridor away from the others and towards where she had come from, outside.
As she ran, images flooded her mind with what could possibly be waiting for them behind the walls of the base. Something sinister, something evil, something that could kill them all. Her rapid heartbeat roared in her ears. Never more had she wanted off a planet so badly, and in her petrified panic, she began to try to think of any possible item she had seen that she could rig to get her the buck out of here. Unfortunately for her, it was a silly waste of thinking power. Her mechanical skills were limited by her inexperience, and what she had learned so far from the others wasn't going to get her anywhere very fast.

A small arc of electricity burnt through the air from the end of the torch as Flux jumped, startled by the sudden introduction of water from the ceiling. The seals and shielding would keep his equipment safe, but one of the first rules an engineer ever learned was that electricity and water should be kept away from each other. Of course, this rule was preceded by other rules mostly regarding how to combine them safely, so the finished product usually ended in the lingering smell of burnt fur and bandages. However, while he recognized the potential threat, he also saw that it was universal. He tightened his grip around the torch's handle as his narrowed eyes concentrated on the door.
Everything in his mind seemed to be going...well enough for an engineer, until someone yelled. It was like an axe had finally cut through the restraints on all the tension building in the room. The stallion jumped back as a mare appeared through the gap in the doorway and creatures scattered in different directions, and as the now-unsupported door slammed back down without anything else coming through he forced himself to lie by his thundering heart and at least look like he was keeping relatively calm. He turned the torch towards this mysterious mare and watched her carefully. "Who are you?!" he tried to say, though the chaos had turned it into nearly a shout.

"W-what the hay is even going on?!" After departing from the wierd leaking pipes in the ceiling, Tara had finally reached the room with the door where all the action had happened. Or more like he had burt into the room after having heard screams from nearly all crew members other than the Pilot and the Captain. Especially the trainee's and the dragons scream had put him right on edge again as he was staring into the room, spotting the members of his crew and...somepony new that wasn't there before.
He didn't dare to say anything and just stood in the doorway to the room, staring with confusion at the mass hysteria and panic that was sure to happen at any moment again.

Cobblestone sighed as the sprinklers turned on, looking from the pipes to the other ponies down the hallway. "Aww great, now we'll get that stuff all over the floor."
She put some distance between herself and the slime and sat down in the corridor, watching the crew and listening to the yelling and shouting while keeping her eye on their base and one hoof near her nailgun.

The screaming had successfully given Seller a headache. He was used to melodrama; he had certainly seen plenty of it at the flight academy, and with his old pilot when he was a co-pilot, but this crew took the cake. They screamed as if their lives were in danger! Bunch of kids...
Having been the first to leave the pipe-room-area with his deck of cards in pocket, he was more than surprised to see them prying open a malfunctioning door. It was amusing to watch, and it seemed like they were about to -- then the sprinklers turned on, and suddenly the world around Seller shrank. He lowered his head and his face twisted in rage. The shower was cold, but at least he was finally getting his shower.
Angrily, Seller sat down - behind all the ponies handling the door-drama - and rubbed his mane to wash it clean as best he could. He was shivering, cold, angry, and completely ignorant to everything happening around him -- not that he cared in the first place.

With all of the screaming and panic happening around the doctor, it was all he could do not to join in. And he had half a mind to do just so, with the screaming, yelling, the sprinklers that now had him soaking and the quickest glimpse of something beyond that door in the darkness that was most certainly not pony... But, it was all over (if one could say that) quickly enough, and with the appearance of a now obviously chocked mare, he was now in his "doctor mode", where simply the well-being of the patient mattered. So he did what his mind told him too, which was too quickly run past the other ponies towards the strange mare, prompting her up as she obviously could hardly stand on her own while also moving a hoof towards her, checking her pulse. "Razing... though might not be too surprising." He noted factiously while turning to their engineer to give him a quick but slightly disapproving look of him and his "weapon". "Hey! Back off! She needs space!"

Basilisk groaned as he let go the door, finally putting his hooves to a rest. "Bucking asshole.." He glared at flux. "Everyone quiet!" Nova finally yelled last, hoping to get everyone to shut up. "Doctor how is she?" Nova said as he trotted closer to plush ramen, shoving flux in the way as well on purpose. By the way Plush condition is, something must've happened in this ship. "..strange..For 3 days we haven't find anypony but until now we managed to cross paths with this pony..wait. Wasn't there another one with her back there?" thought Nova as his iris shrank in realization , taking another look on his radar he see's that the second blimp is gone. "What?" Nova rubbed his eyes, making sure that he wasn't losing it.
