Perspective bowed his head, "Thank you kind sirs. I promise that I will be brief."
He put on his best smile and approached the doors, opening one just enough for home to pass through. He then entered to see the Queen for the first time.

[Enter Legion Voice & Joxer from Joxer's Room.]
Entering the hallway and awaiting answers from the mysterious chosen one, Legion couldnt help but feel somewhat envious. This pony was hoof chosen, by the Queen herself to belong into his unit without the proper training and paperwork. How did that happen? Knowing there was going to be tests and mental examinations for him to go through, the changeling prepared himself personally for training the new recruit. First thing was first, it seemed proper communication through his military talk was not something Joxer agreed with. While having to remind himself that he could tone it down when it came to speaking with the traveler, Legion curiously continued his speaking.
"I am intrigued on your notion. Our Queen has given me a file to read over, unfortunately, I have been very preoccupied to read such thing. Tell me a little about your self and skill that I cannot read from some paper."

As they entered the long hallway, the tan stallion hums in thought at Legion's request. The dull sound of their hooves resounding on the carpeted stone as they slowly walked along, his mind full of thought. It's rather interesting to think that a changeling could be so... how would one put it? Curious... mild? Somewhere along those lines, but anyways, back to the moment at hand.
Joxer's blue eyes twinkle slightly as he hums in thought, "Well... about myself and a skill that can't be told by a piece of paper. Well, about me, I would say that I'm a long time.. servant of the queen, five years. Her personal pet some would say, though I did help her out with anything she needed ranging from just talking to taking care of business when needed." From his tone, you could clearly tell he meant dark things. "You're probably wondering why rank doesn't sit well with me and that's because I've never been a military type. More roguish in nature. I was the second in command of a mafia here in Canterlot, kind of like an assassin and thief rolled into one, though that was before I took control of the mafia and got rid of the whole lot of them." He ends off on the first answer with a soft, nostalgic hum.
"And a skill, I'd say you'll find out the skill i cherish the most soon enough. I could even give you a demonstration when we need to start on our journey."

Noble had paused near the exit doors for what seemed like forever. Memories filled his mind and his emotions ran the gamut between happiness, sadness, anger and a sheer, numbness when he had none. So long ago, these walls held such hope and happiness. Now nothing more than distant echoes of a glory that faded too soon. It hadn't been that long...
In his reverie, Noble studied the doors, taking note of their construction before steeling himself and marching out, heading for the main street. He had work to do and he'd distracted himself long enough. Time to do something vaguely productive...

"I see. I look forward to it. The degree skills needed for such advancement intrigues me so. You were a pet, and came to be a well rounded friend and soldier to the Queen herself. That on its own, seems like a rare treat. Her children try for years to impress her majesty, and you gain in from the pits of plot kissing. I must say I am impressed."
Legion Voice was honest, his expressions made clear as he listened to the stallion carefully. Pleased to see that ponies and changelings really could soon start to work together in harmony, he looked forward. Walking eith a pep in his step, Legion moved towards the entrance. Spotting the guards up ahead, light bows were all that seemed to be given that day to the two advanced soldiers approaching. Pushing open the door, Legion walked out, knowing his partner would catch up.

[Enter Hallway from Kitchen]
Galloping into the hallway after pushing the doors from the kitchen area, Plush found herself in a tizzy. If guards found her alone, visions of future actions occurred through her cranium in waves. Knowing she needed fo find Orange Glows bedroom and not quite certain where it was anymore, the mare grumbled.
Bolting in a direction and soom becoming off balanced, Plush found herself slipping as she soon begun to roll. Sliding and crashing into the all too familiar Joxer himself, the orange mare groaned. Blinking and taking him down with her, the two rolled onward, soon to stop as their bodies collided.

Just as Joxer was about to leave, a brief sound of a door opening and the sound of hooves was all the warning he got before he was bowled over by a spinning ball of fur. With a gasp and a rather audible grunt, Joxer ends up entangled with Plush on the floor.
A soft growl builds in his throat, though its rather weak as he is a little dizzy from being knocked over and rolling quite a few times. "W-why...? Why were you running?" He huffs softly, not even noticing who it is for a few moments before freezing and dropping his mildly upset tone and expression, eyes deep as he stares at the orange mare. "Plush..?"

Groaning with regret, Plush Ramen could feel herself entangled as blue orbs widened in realization of who. Wiggling enough to free her legs from his own, the orange mare had stood up hesitantly. Unsure of what to say, Joxer's presence was a blessing in disguise. With ears still whiffed back in an apologetic expression, her body had begun to back up hesitantly. After everything they've been through, Plush couldn't help but feel frightened at his appearance. While she knew he was the reason she was out of prison, it still had just felt so raw. None of this felt real, especially him.
"J-oxer.. I'm.. I'm sorry. I was trying to.. And I fell.. H-hi."
Looking away, the mare wanted to run into his arms, to make everything go away. Unfortunately, life didnt go that way. She was no longer the strong and independent pony that she used to be. If she ever was to begin with. Complicated even in her own mental setting, Plush Ramen was never an easy mare to figure out. Giving the stallion credit for dealing with her all these years, she tried to keep from running once more.

Watching her reaction to realizing who it was exactly that she ran into, Joxer's heart ached a little at her meek and frightened expression. Sighing softly, his bright green eyes keep contact with hers as he smiles, trying to reassure her and make her feel better. Unconciously, as he starts speaking, he lifts a hoof and gently moves some of her mane out of her eyes and caresses her cheek before immediately taking his hoof away as he realizes what he's done.
"It's fine, Plush. I'm glad that I could see you before I left on this... trip, of sorts. Um... You look better, I mean, better than you did when you first... y'know... got out of prison.." He sighs and mentally facehoofs before smiling back up at her, trying hard to not show any emotion other than the light pleasent expression on his face. "Are you being treated okay?"

Shaken orbs watch him carefully as a hoof gently touches her face. Frozen and unable to give more then blink, Plush Ramen wasn't certain on what she should do. Judging from the soft tone of his voice, he didn't seem mad, but she could never truly be sure. From the time he came to set her free to til now, she was always expecting some type of lash out. Revenge of any sorts. While he did raise his voice when they first remet, it still felt like she deserved more then a simple lecture. Wondering if she should have told him about the mental abuse Orange Glow had her under for some time, the raven maned mare found herself conflicted. Upon hearing him say he was leaving once again, Plush broke down.
"N-no.. you can't leave again."
Breaking her physical hold, the orange coated mare had thrown herself into his arms. Wrapping around him tightly, she didn't care if the hafling came back pissed. Finding herself emotionally unstable, Plush tried to calm herself down.
"I-I.. don't want to be here.. Can.. I go with you? I just.. dont fit in. I'm just a prisoner to these creatures. A body of meat. I wont be in the way.. please."

On her way back to her room she quickly discovers Plush and Boxer talking to each other. Without hesitation she walks in between them trying to disrupt any planning of any sort. She didn't want those two near each other. "Come along Plush, I'm sure he has something important to do. Just like you have to get in better shape."

Joxer had been about to say something, but the stupid annoyance got in the way and he had to come to his senses, looking away and gently pries her off of him and starts to walk away, his voice neutral as he does so.
"I'm sorry, but you have more important things to take care of, not to mention it would never be allowed." He winces at how he sounds, definitely knowing how it sounded and letting his voice get a little more emotional. "Just survive, and you can do what you want. Survive."
As he says this, he quickens his step and his horn lights up, the magic around it a little unruly as his emotions betray him before he teleports outside, knowing exactly where the short one would be.

Widened sapped eyes shook in confusion as the one pony who could have made everything better begun to walk away. As Orange Glow interrupted their conversation before she could try to swindle a yes from him, a sudden familiar feeling found itself growing in the mare. Growing more frustrated by the minute, Plush knew she should have ran off into the halflings room right away, but she couldn't. Knowing she may or may not have important answers for her, it all felt like a long fork in the road of life. Unable to say anything before Joxer left completely, sapphire orbs glanced back to Orange Glow with an uncertain wave of emotions.
"How dare you! All I wanted was a chance to talk to him! You ruined everything!"
Huffing and stomping a hoof down on the tile floor, the mare was clearly unhappy with her actions. Starting to walk around Orange and towards the direction of the palace doors, for a brief moment, she had forget she was a prisoner. Not caring what this thing was going to say, the stubbornness in her had started to come back. As if she was starting to feel like her old self again, walking further away, Plush Ramen stops short. Facing away and taking a deep breath, this wasnt who she wanted to be anymore. By the sound of it, Joxer didn't even attempt to think about her request before shooting it down. What good would following him be? Drooped ears clung to the mare's head as a sigh escaped her lips, she turned to look at the halfling once more.
"I'm.. sorry."

Orange watched the mares displays of emotion an anger. For a few moments there she saw the old Plush, the one that could fight for the Queen with honor in the arena. This caused Orange to smirk a bit before she came down off the anger. Hearing the mares words and feeling her emotion Orange spoke up a bit to address her. "You can speak to him anytime you like, just right now he is pretty busy with orders from the queen. Now if you are don't ranting like that I have an answer for little ole you"
Orange smiled to the made slowly making her way to her room gesturing for her to follow behind her.

Quickly noticing Orange Glow's lack of drive towards letting her words effect her job, Plush Ramen had found it rather impressive. Here she was, ready to walk out on the halfling, and she didn't even blink an eye. Was she that confident or plain dumb? Perking her ears up at last part, the pegasus turned around in an instant. Eager to know, her hooves begun to follow.
"You do?? I.. tell me.. Please."
Catching up to her and pretending as if none of that had ever happened, her drive for knowledge was more important then some emotional slip up. Relieved to know it wasn't being hung over her head, she could only hope the news was good.

Blinking with a stunned reaction to the mare's comment, Plush Ramen found herself baffled. Wanting to know more and needing to get Orange to spill the metaphorical beans, she rushed after in a hurry. Grabbing the door and slipping inside just the same, information was going to be shared, whether this halfling liked it or not. Uncertain if the creature was merely messing with her or being serious, Plush just had to know.
"What do you mean maybe??"

[Enter Queen Chrysalis]
Stepping hooves into her hallway with a sense of pride, the Queen of Equestria held her head up high. With soldiers among the path bowing to her presence, each step forward was growth for her smile. Flipping her unique mane back and giving her student ample time to catch up, she begun to speak out loud. He may be worthless to her in terms of fighting, but with changeling magic spreading through his ability to learn, there was always room for physical training at a later date. Having to admit she didnt see him as the soldier type, perhaps just a peace student was good enough? She could live with that.
"One of the next lessons you must learn on our path is accepting that not everypony will like you. And that is fine, they dont need to like us, they just need to respect and obey us. We are the nobles after all."

[Enter Perspective Shift from The Throne Room]
Watching the guards with intrigue as each bowed to the Queen as they passed, he knew that these first steps out of the throne room were just the beginning in a long, new journey that was sure to be exciting. As he caught up to the Queen, he had heard every word, but the last sentence made him pause slightly before coming up next to her again.
His grin dropped just enough to be noticeable, but was still present as he spoke, "I beg your pardon, your Highness, but I'm not a noble. And I mean no disrespect, but I've always thought that respect was earned through words and actions that benefit others rather than oneself."

Turning to face her student with an intrigued expression, the Queen of Equestria listened. His antics and ways of life were different then the hive, however perhaps that is exactly what she was looking for. If she had to be born in, she'd certainly never be in the position she is now, so why did she even stoop that low? Observing with manageable interest, Chrysalis nodded.
"Well said Perspective Shift, well said. I suppose as a leader, I too have a lot to learn about the levels of democracy around here. I fought to be here, and so did you. My apologies. But you see, in their eyes, we are nobles. We very well earned the right to stand tall and be proud of what we accomplished. That is merely what I am saying."

He looked up at her, nodding his head, "I understand, your Majesty, but I don't think I could ever see myself as a noble. Though ponies might see me that way now that I'm your student." His grin had returned full force, but despite what he said, he felt a certain amount of pride that others could see him as more than what he was because of his new station.
He looked up at the Queen, "If you'd like, your Highness, you could call me Percy if you wish. My name can get to be a mouthful at times."

Post by Queen Chrysalis on Apr 9, 2016 18:19:18 GMT
"Percy? Is this the name you favor? I shall address you in what makes you comfortable. You and I wil be spending a lot of time together. As my student, ponies and changelings alike will entrust their faith in you to keep the peace. How does one go about this position? Why it's simple. Your next mission will be to warm the hearts of our lost citizens. But you wont exactly be you when I'm through with you."
Offering a small chuckle to her own humor, her laugh had been on the border, giving no hint as to what it meant. Instead, the Queen moved forward. Approaching the exit doors with her very large beast standing tall in the corner, Chrysalis saluted him, along with her soldiers standing by. "Keep up the good work boys." Watching them as they opened the doors for Perspective and the Queen, a thankful nod was given in return. Turning to her student and remembering she had left him on a whim, Chrysalis smiled.
"Perspective Shift, you are going to learn how to shape shift."
With that said, the Queen trotted outside. Leaving him to his thoughts, she could only imagine his excited expression as her long legs took the steps in easy strides. This day was just about to get way more interesting. That is, if he can handle the magic. They were soon to find out.

As he followed her to the door, Perspective was about to answer her question in regards to his name when she addressed the soldiers. He watched as they saluted back and continued to follow until she informed him of his next lesson. He stopped dead on his tracks and stared up at her blankly as she continued on. It was several moments before his face split into a Cheshire grin of epic proportions and he bounced from side to side in excitement, barely containing it. It was when he finally noticed the looks passerbys were giving him that he cleared his throat and followed after the Queen.

Noticing the pony, Vaan felt somewhat relieved that the pony from earlier was alive; no one should die if the situation wasn't their fault. Then again, Vaan didn't know the whole story, so he didn't assume anymore.

Standing guard in the hall, light blue orbs watched closely as creatures wandered the pathway in and out with little regard to his position. Set on keeping it that way, the soldier remained stiff. Upon noticing the confused stallion seemingly searching for something else, the changeling spoke up. With Max not gaining the attention of others, it seemed only natural for him to step in. "Edcuse me. What is it you are looking for? Dining hall is to the left, if you have a meeting with the Queen, your path will remain straight."
