Palace Entrance Door/Hallway

[Noble Persona]

[Enter Noble Persona from the Palace Gates]

Noble approached what he gathered to be a checkpoint, again trying to suppress anything they could use to get a read on his thoughts and feelings.

He was inside, at least. Things could work out very well or very poorly from here.

[Correctional Forces]

Standing between a very large and dangerous beast, two changeling soldiers raised their swords in attention to the new arrival. With the day they had so far, it was time to be more assertive. One in particular spoke up as he glanced around the stallion, his light blue eyes scanning every inch of detail from the pony. "State your name and business here."

[Noble Persona]

"My name is Noble Persona. I'm here to speak to the Queen about her need for a combat specialist to train her soldiers." He replied calmly. There was no need to lose his cool now, though the big thing gave him some pause for thought.

[Correctional Forces]

Giving the stallion an odd glance, the changeling standing opposite of the beast had pointed to the double doors at the end of the hallway. "Your desssstination issss down there. We warn you, throne room issss very crowded at thissss moment in time." Each soldier nodded in unison at their last statement. The beast had not said a word, but stared with big widened eyes at the situation below. The soldier closest to him had merely stepped aside to allow him to pass. "The Queen is better with single meetings, I suggest you becareful. Go on."

[Noble Persona]

"Thank you, sirs. I appreciate the advance warning." Noble said, moving to step past the changelings and trying to present himself as somewhat friendly and agreeable to them. "Good day to you all."

As he moved along, he kept up his mild-mannered exterior. Best to get in practice before meeting with the Queen. Still, the thought of a crowd seemed interesting. Lots of ponies wanted to meet the queen today, apparently. But whether this was good or bad, Noble couldn't tell. He supposed he'd just have to wait until the other ponies were done. To this end, he stopped by the doors, stood to one side outside of the projected arc of the doors and waited...

[Strong Defense]

[Enter Strong Defense from The Throne room]   

    "Well, now I need to find a good blacksmith, hopefully one that can do a rushed order." Strong ask to himself before looking are.

    As Strong took in his new surroundings he noticed the purple Unicorn standing by the doors he had just walk through. Hm, he look... well, cute. Strong took a moment to compose himself before saying to the Unicorn standing outside the throne room, it look like he was waiting and Strong did need Astral to catch up. 

    "Hello, there nice to meet you. My name is Strong Defense and you are?" Strong said with a bright smile. 

[Noble Persona]

Noble looked up as he was addressed. The one addressing him didn't look like one of the Queen's ponies, though it may well be a changeling. Either way, no reason to be rude.

"Noble Persona. Good to meet you, sir." He replied politely, hoping he was pulling off the mild-mannered thing properly. "I heard you were looking for a blacksmith. I may be able to help with that. I have one in my employ."

[Queen Chrysalis]

Strong Defense would begin to feel something wrap around his neck as a magical collar soon made its way into place. The same color as his fur, it was hardly noticable to the naked eye. Magical proof and going through any shields he would have made were useless to this device. With the registration he signed also being like a contract, Strong would find that it was impossible to get off. However it could transmit his words to his new partners if needed.


((Warning. Armor will not be permitted for this mission. And will be destroyed. Ex princess armor will also be destroyed.))

[Strong Defense]

    So his name is Noble, ok. He seems pretty well spoken to, plus he just said that he know a blacksmith, maybe today was not that bad after all. 

    "Well, Noble it's nice to meet you and do you know a blacksmith, because I am now in need of some replacement armor." Strong was happy that he might be able to get new armor, he didn't like not have any at all, you never know when you might need it.

    "If you didn't mind me ask what brings you here today?" Still giving Noble a warm smile.          

    As Strong was talking to Noble felt the collar materialize around his neck. Oh, Buck my live! The Buck is this shit, goddesses help me before I kill some pony. I'm not the type to wear the collar I normally have my partner do that.

[Astral Midnight]

[Enter: Astral Midnight from Throne Room]

Astral walked out of the throne room, with a grin on his face. He stopped suddenly behind Strong, having expected him to be a bit further up the way. He walked to Strong's side, and looked at the purple unicorn standing in front of him. Having heard Strong over the communication collar thing, he figured he walked into the middle of a conversation. He remained silent, to allow the two to continue talking

[Noble Persona]

Noble nodded. "As I said, I have one in my employ. Well...actually, I have a few. My business produces weapons for the queen. Which, admittedly, is part of why I'm here. The other is I'm applying for a job, training the Queen's soldiers." Noble replied. He didn't have much of an opinion, negative or positive, on this pony yet.

[Strong Defense]

    hm, I probably don't have time to get a full suit of armor made before we have to go, but I could probably get a sword in time. Also I need to better arm Astral if I want to make use of his invisibility, Nova is giving off a front line fighter type of feel, so I will need to work with that too. Strong smile at Noble. 

    "That is very impressive, Noble. Also I like to get some work done by that blacksmith of your. Does your blacksmith or any pony in your employment do enchantments?"

    Strong give Astral a friendly nod, thank him for let him continue his conversation with Noble.

[Noble Persona]

Noble nodded. "I do those myself. Of course, the price does go up for stronger enchantments. Time, materials, energy expended, mostly."

This was certainly interesting. He'd come to ask about a job training the Queen's forces, and now he had a pony interested in ordering something from him. Perhaps he was right to get out of bed after all.

[Astral Midnight]

Astral returned Strong's nod, and gave him a look that pretty well asked what the conversation was about. Blacksmith? What would he need with a blacksmith? I guess I'll find out in a bit. He thought to himself. Hearing Nova over the comms collar, he sighed. He's going to be the one to hold us back the most.

[Strong Defense]

    Ok, let me see what I need and what can get in time. Looking Astral over, from the corner of his eye Strong thought of what they might need for there mission.

    "I need some work done on my sword and I think my friend Astral will be needing some type of weapon to." Strong gave Noble a warm smile. 

[Astral Midnight]

Astral looked directly at Strong, with a look that pretty well summed up his thoughts on the situation. A weapon? Why would be want to give me a weapon? He thought for a couple seconds, and then said, "Hmmm, maybe something small, like a dagger.."

[Basilisk Nova (R.I.P)]

[Enter Basilisk Nova from Throne Room]


"...." Pushing the door behind him, Nova trots toward the direction where a trio of ponies are clustered up. Nova passed by Strong and his friends.

[Noble Persona]

Noble smiled politely, though he was secretly sizing both of them up. A little precaution, just in case he ended up pitted against them. The one he'd been speaking to first was large for a Unicorn, and the other pony... He couldn't get a good read, but he seemed quiet and passive. Perhaps a planner? Could be, but might not be.

"Well, I'd be happy to help. Do either of you gentlecolts have urgent business to attend to? I'd be happy to show you to my smith once my business with the queen is concluded."

[Astral Midnight]

Astral thought for a couple seconds. Anything important? Well, I could go figure out where this place we need to go is at. I wonder if there's anything useful in the library. He thought to himself. He looked at Strong, and said, "I don't think there's anything too important." He look back over to Noble, "We should be in the library when you're done with your business. Though, in case we leave before you're done, I'd suggest telling Strong here where we can find you when we get back from our little 'adventure.'" He smiled slightly at Noble, and then ran after Nova.

"Hey, library. We need to know where we're going before we go blindly running into whatever is waiting for us there." He spoke just loud enough for Nova to hear him.

[Strong Defense]

    Smiling at Noble, Strong thought of a way to make sure they wouldn't have a problem meeting up later. Looking back to Noble, Strong said. 

   "Looks like I need to get going. Like Astral said we will be in the library, but if we're not there I got a spell that will let me find you later, if you ok with it?"

[Noble Persona]

At the sound of a tracking spell, Noble visibly tensed up. "No. The library will do for now. If not there, then there's a bulletin board in town. That will serve as a good meeting place." He said, swiftly declining Strong's offer. The idea of somepony he didn't know too well being able to track him didn't sound like a good idea.

[Strong Defense]

    Strong nodded at Noble, they had just meet so it was understandable that he didn't want some pony putting a tracking spell on him. 

    "Well, I will be seeing you then, Noble. I wish you the best of luck with the Queen and the room is pretty empty right now." Strong gave Noble a peck on the cheek, before trotting after Astral, his tail wagging a little bit. I don't get why I feel like singing so much today? Strong started to sing, as he went

    Strong kept sing as he want. 

[Exit Strong Defense] 

[Noble Persona]

"Thank you. I-" Noble began, freezing up as Strong kissed his cheek. In that instant, his carefully crafted persona fizzled and his mind exploded with a million chaotic, rampant thoughts before he managed to calm himself down. By then, Strong had already left, it seemed. Noble also grew aware of a strange heat in his cheeks and his heart rate increasing. Piecing the two together led Noble to the conclusion that he was blushing. While expected when kissed by a pony, Noble immediately frowned and would chase Strong down and demand he apologize for it were it not for his business with the queen. 'I will get you for that...' He thought, immediately turning thoughts to how best to reprimand that pony next time they saw each other.

He next turned to the remaining stallion. "I think you'd best educate your friend on personal space. I don't appreciate unwanted advances of that nature..."

[Astral Midnight]

Astral just simply stared at Strong's little display. When he heard Noble's words, he turned and said, "I'll make sure to tell him." He nodded and made his way towards the library.

[Exit: Astral Midnight to the Library]

[Basilisk Nova (R.I.P)]

Nova sighed and followed where Astral went, thus leaving the area as well.

[Astral Midnight]

[Enter: Astral Midnight from the library]

Astral sat next to the door of the library with his head down. How are we going to finish this mission if we don't even know where we're going? I can't believe that this place isn't in any books.. I can't think of anywhere that would be better than here.. He gasped as an idea came into his mind. He ran back into the library to tell the others

[Exit: Astral Midnight to the library]

[Noble Persona]

Noble glanced to the Astral pony from before as he made a sudden reappearance, then ran back to the library just as quickly. It broke up the silence as Noble waited for the Queen to finish her business with the foreign pony. Had to be somepony important, even royalty, judging by the small army of bodyguards surrounding him.

But, Noble was growing a little restless. He had better things to do besides wait here, and he still owed Strong a slap for the kiss, which was still making Noble blush, even now. He crept over to the throne room doors, to take a peek inside.

[Exit Noble Persona to the Throne Room]

[Legion Voice]

{Enter Legion Voice.]

Making his way through the hallway, Legion had finally begun to realize what the Queen had ordered of him. A replacement squad? So soon? Having to admit that his heart twitched at the idea of more fatalities, the changeling had to be strong. He was the captain, the leader, and now, nothing more then another soldier waiting for an assignment. No, he was better then that. He knew it. He was hoof chosen for greatness, even if he had doubts, they would clear in time. Who was by her side when then the castle was taken over, him. Who was fighting through the war with not a single fear of loss? Him. SO why did he chose now to concern himself? The other team wasnt strong enough. He needed subjects better, he needed, better trained officers. This new creature, had some big hooves to fill.

[Exit Legion Voice.]

[Plush Ramen]

[Enter Plush Ramen & Orange Glow]

Stepping into the palace hallway once again, sapphire blue orbs scanned the long pathway with a nervous demeanor. Inching further out, guards stationed along the perimeter had only increased the mares anxiety and heart rate as her hooves continued. Knowing Orange Glow wasn't far behind, memories of the old palace flashed through Plush Ramen's mind in waves. The royals and unwelcomed arrogance that used to fill these halls, surely things haven't changed that much. Sighing with little acknowledgement to the soldiers stationed, the mind driven pegasus kept to herself. She was going to go outside, into the real world, this was by far the best idea they had yet.

'I hope you're safe..' Never officially finding out if her true love was dead or alive, drooped ears had signaled her depression before anything else. She had just wanted an answer, was he alive or dead? How hard was that? Breaking her heart to know the information may never get relayed to her, it seemed cheering up was impossible these days. Not watching where she was going, the raven maned pegasus had bumped into a passing soldier, her head not clearly in the zone as she held it confusingly.

"G..ah. Sorry.."

[Perspective Shift]

[Enter Perspective Shift from Main Streets]

Perspective had never been in the Palace before, so he wasn't sure what it had looked like before, but the design now had him standing and staring in awe, not just at the design, but at how heavily guarded it was. The afternoon sun shone through the windows and seemed to make the guards glow lightly as the light hit their armor (and making some of them look quite dashing). He approached one of the guards at random with his large, ever-present grin, to find out where he was to go from here and just happen to approach the largest of the bunch.
