Filled with changelings top to bottom, not many can get through here in peace.

[Enter Seller from Entrance]
Giving a small sigh, Seller lowered his hood and extinguished his flame. Afterwards, he pulled his bandanna off his stubby snout to rest on his neck. Of course Seller was unaware of the infestation inside the castle, but as a precaution he wore his dagger at his side. The small stallion shook his head a bit to let his wild, untrimmed mane breath a bit and began to trot down the hallway. The library had to be around here somewhere, and he'll be finding it with or without blood on his hooves.

As the unknowingly head missioned stallion trotted down the hallway of friendship, bright blue eyes could soon be seen lighting up behind his presence, creating an eery vibe as the stalk went on. Blocking his exit from behind if Seller decided to turn back around, the path ahead seemed to be blocked by something hard. Black and unmoveable to the turn of the hall the pony needed, small hisses could be heard slowly echoing around his two eyed vision. With whatever left over sun rays hitting through the windows blocked by a buzzing sound above, the rock like substance blocking the path had shifted slightly, trying.to obviously zleep as its huge frame blocked the entire entryway.

Seller only allowed air in & out through his snout, flaring them in distress. He stops once he sees that his path is blocked. He glances behind him and instantly lights up his horn in a bright, brilliant purple flame; illuminating the entire hallways, and whatever blocked his path.
Simultaneously, he reached back and pulled his crystal-edged dagger out from his side which could cut through ponies like butter, lovingly named: Wick.

Bright vibrant eyes widened at the sudden light illuminating the hall came out of nowhere. What Seller would realze however, that standing just behind him, the stallion had been surrounded. Changelings at every angle, a few small cackles could be heard as a few lit up their own horns in defense.
"Hisssss"
Inching closer to the pony and disinterested in his weapon choice, a few bug lile.creatures lunged forward for the kill. Between the large mass of enemies to the large obstacle.in his path, a small beeping sound could be heard as a red lighted small camera could be seen turning to face the.pony.in the room. Seeming to turn on with light in the room, it was very much attracted to what Seller was doing, keeping things focused on the scene ahead.

His eyes widened fully as he saw the large mass of bugs behind him. He wasn't expecting to see so many in one place away from Canterlot. Immediately he tossed the dagger into the horde - hoping to thin the numbers by at least one - and trotted backwards.
"Shhhhh-!!" Seller exclaimed as he wanted to cuss very loudly, but was too socked to finish the statement fully. It was lucky for him that his horn was already warmed up, seeing as he has no actual light-spell; he simply pulled more magical power to make his horn glow brighter. Unfortunately for him, he knew a spell that may help him in the situation, and the realization made him pretty angry.
He really wanted to say a witty one-liner, but every second was valuable. It was lucky for him he was wearing so much protective clothing, and that the Changlings weren't. He instantly hunched down and tried to tuck his head down into a defensive ball, his horn glowing brighter.
Above him a purple flame-ball of it's own appeared, and started to grow. Seller shouted out: "This is really going to hurt!" from his defensive position as the flame-ball grew awkwardly bigger. It grew so large, in fact, the back to Seller's cloak was set aflame, which made him groan, but it didn't make him move as he knew worse was to come.

As the stallions knife flung through the air, its sharp curved edge had taken out quite a few wings in its airborn process. Hissing and snarling at Seller for his actions, many had lunged forward before lighting up in flames. Brightening up the room, other changelings had begun to back away as many seemed to start to run for the end of the hall. What was left had begun to shoot blasts at the ball like pony, all while trying.to avoid the fire they were so desperately afraid of. The room continued to grow brighter as the changelings on fire had begun to turn to ash. The rock behind Seller however had not seemed to move an inch, uneffected by the fire as the smoke in the room only began to grow thicker.

Seller was completely on fire himself, however it wasn't burning him as bad. He yelled into the floor as he felt some of his fur be singed off and his cloak fully burn off. The ball only grew and grew before it finally exploded in a huge wave of furious purple fire; filling the hall completely from the front door up against the rock blocking the hall. It was hot enough that it could theoretically burn down an entire village.
After the ball exploded, Seller started screaming and cursing as he rolled around in his burning leather armor, extinguishing the flames on his mane, fur, and armor. The hallway would be pretty smokey, and the walls surely would be covered in ash. Once the fires were out, Seller stayed laying on the ground and took deep breaths; recovering from what just happened.
He scans both ends of the hallways to see if he's about to die or not.

Screaming in agony from both sides, the ashes of the pained changelings were covering absolutely everything. As the smoke from the fire begun to finally calm down, the road to the entrance had been clear as crystal. From one side to the next, the bugs had been completely destroyed, allowing Seller to stroll freely through. The once large rock that stood in his path, was now nothing but rubble, creating an unpleasant notice from something in the distance. For the rock wasn't keeping ponies out, it was keeping something in.
Breathing in large huffs from his nostrils, the beastling awoke from its slumber with darkened green orbs like those on black fire. Standing up and revealing its incredibly tall and large frame, Seller would remember one of these creatures from the past, a beast that took many lives and a dragons help to defeat in the end. Now this beast was standing tall, way taller then any pony as its huge frame nearly hit the raised ceiling.
Glaring down at the stallion on his side with a snarl that would shake the very floor boards, sharp dagger like claws scraped against the side of the wall, creating a grinding sound as its two back legs stepped forward. The loud sound of its hoofed feet had been one out of a horror movie. Letting lose an ear curdling roar that echoed from the outside on, a clawed paw swiped to knock Seller off the floor, hopefully slamming him into the closest wall with force.

Seller had seen death before, and it didn't frighten him. He had nothing; no family, no friends, no home, no mentor, nothing. He took a deep, shuddered breath as he heard the beast coming towards him, and accepted the rapture. He was far too tired to try and use another complex spell, that exploding fire-ball was the biggest he's got in his arsenal.
A grunt self Seller's lips as he was swiped off the ground by a claw and forcibly slammed into the wall. He showed little resistance and groaned loudly in pain. Surely, something fractured.

More frustrated that his prey had no energy to fight back, the snarling had only gotten louder as its mouth drooled in anticipation. Reaching over and grabbing the probably unconscious stallion into his grasp, a smile grew on the large muzzled beastlings mouth. Shaking Seller in attempts to wake him, the grip on his clawed hand had been incredibly tight, yet not tight enough to crush his small frame too badly. Bringing the pony closer to his fangs, the beasts rotting breath could be felt hot on Sellers poor fur and skin. Disgusting and powerful, the creature was seconds away from eating the frozen body.

[Enter Ruby]
Running into the hallway and getting hit with a rotting and somewhat burnt smell, the mare coughed as she tried to hold her breath. Looking around, at first she didn't seem to find anything out of the normal. That was until she looked up. Screaming and trying to throw what she could that wasn't ash at the beast, the earth pony was frantic about trying not to get that pony eaten.
"Stop it!"

A small wheeze came from Seller's mouth as the beast held him tightly and shook him about. The only time he moved was to close his eyes and turn his head slightly to the side when he smelt the stench that burnt his nostrils. He had already accepted the coming fate. It probably wouldn't be so bad; the beast would most likely just bite off his head first or snap his neck. That would be a merciful death for such a wretched soul like his.
Then he heard the sound of somepony else. A mare. Was it her? Had Luna returned just in time to save him? Deep in his heart he knew she would come... The smoke and the darkness of the room made it difficult to see, but he swore he heard her.
"M-My Princess..." he said softly, teary-eyed and in a daze of shock, looking down the hall.

Hissing at the newest pony arriving to throw items at him, the beastling roared once more. Dropping Seller to the ground, the high drop was enough to injure any pony as the creature turned its attention to the mare. Stepping forward and swiping at her, its reflexes were a little slow yet extremely powerful as each swipe missed would get closer to hitting the next. Finally striking her and snagging her back hooves, the large beast had brought her to his mouth in a drooling manner. Having more fun with food that fought back, the beastling begun to lower it into his sharpened fanged large muzzle.

[Enter Night Whisper]
Having lagged behind the mare by a few moments, the sight that greeted the bat shocked him to his core. This creature was massive, and quite fearsome. Normally, Night would try and avoid a showdown with such a creature, however the mare who had asked for his assistance was in great peril. If there is one thing that the monks in Arabia has instilled in Night's damaged heart, it was that he couldn't sit by while others were in danger. Mustering his courage and taking an aggressive stance, the bat monk readied his glave, his eyes narrowing with steely resolve.
Taking a deep breath, he thrusts his blade forward, aiming for the creatures heart.

Seller was not expecting to be dropped so quickly by the beast, and so he landed on his back hooves -- which proved to be a serious mistake as he bent and broke his back left leg at the mid-way-point. He let out a blood-hurdling scream from the pain and twisted against the floor in agony. He writhed in pain for only a few moments before seeing that the creature had left him to attack - who he assumed to be - Princess Luna.
Taking the opportunity, Seller carefully got back up (keeping his totally-gnarly-broken-leg off the ground) with tears streaming down his face from the pain. He sniffled and started carefully trotting down the hallway using his three hooves; abandoning the two who bravely came to help him. He continued down the hallway, looking for the library so that he could finish the mission he set out to do alone, as he should.

Night's spear would hit the beast, slicing through some of the creature's layers of chitted skin. Not going completely through however and missing his heart, the beastling shifted with the blade still inside as he hoped to bring the pony swinging around with it. Snarling out and aiming for the bat like pony, the creature threw the mare at him with winded force. Turning his attention from the two and placing a clawed hand to his wound, a screeching cry announced that they had upset and irritated the massive creation as it stomped around uncontrollably. It its tantrum, the beast had not cared who or what it stepped on as the cries for help from its calling could even worry the bravest souls.

Night was viciously flung into a wall by the creatures violent flailing, though he didn't miss the fact that his blade had pierced it's shell.
'So, he's not invincible...' The bat made a quick mental note. He had little time to gather his bearings, as the creature tosses the mare with force. Spreading his wings, Night takes off after her.
"I got you!" He tries to reassure her at the last second. Catching the mare, the two ponies are launched back into the wall, the bat stallion cushioning most of the blow.
"OOF!-" the yellow eyes of Night bulge out as the air escapes his lungs. This was definitely not the welcome he was hoping for when returning to Equestria. As both mare and stallion hit the floor, neither were afforded a moment to rest. The changeling beast's constant angry stomping threatened to flatten them. Grabbing the mare, Night rolls out of the way of an impending stomp, yanking the mare along with him.

Barely getting a second to breathe, Ruby had been barely conscious through it all. Trembling at the realization of almost getting eaten, her glance back to the bat pony was one filled with relief and hearts. Not getting a chance to really talk however, the beasts movement had the shaking pony unable to move. All of her bravery and all of her talk felt as if for nothing as her body was yanked along with him.
"You..saved me.. I dont see who was even in here!"

"Not done saving you!..." Night blurts out as he avoids the lethal impact another stomp, rolling with the mare in tow.
"Still in danger!" The bat tries to pull the mare back into the situation at hand (hoof?). Having been momentarily graced with enough time between wild stomps, he gets himself standing upright, pulling the mare up with him.
"Quickly, get to the far right corner!" He instructs her. He couldn't effectively fight this thing off while constantly having to yank her out of harms way. Taking a second to analyze the situation, the stallion manages to come up with a plan. Observing the room, Night notices a fairly flimsy pilliar in the back end of the room. If he could just get this bumbling creature to smash into it, it's possible that the section of roof will collapse and crush it.
Knowing that it was now or never, Night launches forward at the beast. Hopefully it was still blinded by rage, and wouldn't see him coming reasonably thinking that this creature would have similar weak points as its smaller changeling counterparts, Night quickly delivers simultaneous strikes to both of its ears, hopefully disorienting it. Capitalizing on the moment, Night grabs the beast's horn and pulls with all of his strength, pulling them both towards the pillar. He used his leathery wings in an attempt to aid him.

The snarls of the large beast had only grown louder, the very hall vibrating with energy as Night's evasion of his stomps only allowed more rage to come. Swinging his claws at the bat like creature to slice him in two, the pony with cloth like wings had only begun to irritate him further. Blinded by rage and swatting away at its face, the pressure on his large black horn had caused an eruption of magic to follow. Growling and unable to control his balance, the dark green and almost black bubbling magic that erupted from its horn had shot straight through and around to Night's gripped and clenching for his life body. Blasting him from the side and not a direct impact, the aura had shot passed to the ceiling as the rippling effect only caused more damage.
"Graaaaawr!"
With the magic sending Night towards the now blatant hole in the wall, crumbles of ceiling and light fixtures had begun to topple in slowly. With the unabalanced beastling had fallen over among the destruction and now clutter. Attempting to stand and not giving the ponies much chance, they would have seconds to decide on an action to save their lives.

Night had only just been able to dodge the deadly claws swinging his way. The sudden eruption of Magic had forced the bat to release, the intense burning sensation had hurt his hooves a great deal. That was the least of his worries however, as he felt a high temperature Impact hit him on his right side.
"Argh!" He cries out in pain as he is flung away from the beast, into a previously made hole in the wall. Bracing himself for impact, Night Whisper rolled with the momentum, causing the least amount of damage from impact. The magic blast had scorched an entire section of his cloth and leather armor; though the damage would have been much more severe if he hadn't been wearing armor in the first place. Mentally sighing in relief, his satisfaction was short lived as the roaring of the beast continued to echo through the hallway. The plan hadn't worked, at least not fully. The changeling creature did in fact hit the support beam, though it had just barely managed to stay up. Cursing silently to himself, he knew that the only way to finish this thing would be to topple that pillar.
Getting up to his hooves, Night kicks off with his wings and back hooves, launching himself towards the pillar as quickly as possible. At the moment before impact, Night flipped himself around and kicked the weakened pillar with both legs. A loud 'CRACK!' drowned out the beadtling's roars, as the pillar finally started to topple over. Large chunks of the ceiling would come down with it, falling towards the Beastling and threatening to crush it.

Getting told to stand in the corner, Ruby first assumed she was going to be helping out this way. Upon seeing the plan and him making her stand out of harms way, the mare felt emotionally unsure on her actions. Ducking down upon the beast's claw attacks and not sure on who he was actually attacking, pink eyes zoomed to the end of the hallway where the other pony must have gotten to. Hearing the crack, Ruby held onto her ears as she hid her head for protection from the falling objects. Scared and feeling guilty for bringing this pony here to begin with, her stance protected her from the smaller objects falling out of place. Watching some debris and other paint chips fly towards the bat stallion, she cries out.
"Look out!"

Grunting at the first few objects that threatened to strike him down, the momentum of the smaller pieces of crumbled cieling had the beast only worry further as he frantically attempted to stand. Getting on all fours and slamming back to the ground by more of the large masses from above, cries of pain could be heard as the muscular and large dark chitted creature attempted to power through it. Trembling in its bones, the beastling pushed himself to regain some posture when his luck seemed to just run out.
"GAA---"
Getting struck by the pillar, pieces of ceiling heavier then before had fallen down as the beast's remaining strength broke down to the floor. Collapsing and barely conscious, large pupils watched as the broken structure had begun to shoot off at different parts of the hallway. Knowing the whole building wouldnt break that easily, the beast could only whimper as its eyes closed for a final time.

The young warrior had no time to celebrate his victory, as rubble continued to fall from the celing. Dodging giant chunks of roof left and right, some smaller pieces managed to smash against him. One particular piece struck him in the head, causing a wave of pain and ringing in his ears. His vision blurred for a moment, clearing just in time for him to notice a particularly large piece of rubble falling towards Ruby, threatening to crush her.
"Above you!" He shouts, before flying in and shoving her out of the way.
KAROOOM! the halls shake as the rubble hits the floor. Ruby had been pushed to safety, and Night nearly escaped its crushing power... Save for his tail, which was now snagged underneath it. He tugged and pulled, trying to get it free.
"D-Dammit! Come on you stupid-" the room continues to collapse around them.

[Enter Queen Chrysalis and Orange Glow]
Flames had soon appeared in the corner of the room as black smoke covered the hallway with an uncomfortable thickness. Rising from the flames as they begun to diminish, holed hooves stepped out into the smokey opening of the pathway given. Turning to the beastling and the crumbling rooftop, a bright green magic could be seen through the darkness as pieces of the roof begun to be put back together. Sealing it up with magic based concrete, those left in the room besides Orange and herself could begin to feel an immense pressure upon their bodies. Directing this pressure to the wall, the Queen of the changelings forced the bat pony she could barely see and the citizen metaphorically chained to the walls surface. Without seeing the chains, Night Whisper and Ruby could only feel their bodies being pulled to the wall before straightening them up to stand on two hooves. Keeping their two front hooves to their sides, the bodies were stuck as such. With Night's tail now free, the smoke begun to lift.
"Well well. What have we here? A couple of murderers if I do say so myself."

Orange takes a quick look around during all of the commotion her mother caused as they made their entrance and saw one of her beastlings dead. Orange growled and glared at the two ponies pinned to the wall. He orange eyes glowing bright with anger. Them being pinned to the wall caused he some satisfaction though and she grinned at what her Mother might do to them.
"Yes, a few wretched murders. Who not deserve any type of mercy."

Well this was certainly... Unexpected. Night had in no way anticipated the Queen of the changelings herself to show up. Feeling himself unable to move, Night's glowing golden eyes lock with Orange's, before shifting to Chrysalis. He would be lying if he said he wasn't terrified, though he would refuse to show it. One of the most important rules of warfare taught to him by the monks, was to never seem overwhelmed by your opponent. No, he wasn't about to give her the satisfaction of seeing him tremble.
"Murder? Strange topic for you to be preaching about Chrysalis. Tell me, you drown any helpless puppies today? Or were you thinking of switching over to sacks full of kittens?" He just needed to keep her talking. Keep her talking until he could formulate an escape plan.

Darting her glaring green and demonic eyes to the bat pony's presence, hoof steps were taken lightly as each movement brought her closer to the creature daring to speak to her like that. Instead of making him feel pain however, the Queen of the changelings had offered a small and obviously fake laugh in his serious face. Planning on what she could do with an ex lunar soldier, the possibilities were endless.
"You dare talk to the Queen of this land in such a way? Do you truly think you'll live long enough to see this go over well? Listen to Me. You killed a rare species, do you know what that means? To be rare? I'd assume you do. Tell me, hows the population of your kind? Dwindling? Good."
Offering a chuckle to her words, Chrysalis had turned to the mare along the wall. Pondering what to do with her, a twisted grin had spread across her face. There was a lesson to be learned here, and a lesson there would be. Placing a hoof to the young one's chin, the Queen's very eyes were cold and torturing as she kept the staring going for a moment longer. Breaking the glance, she spoke.
"Orange Glow, what do you suggest we do with them? Ship them off as slaves? Place them in the prisons? Or feed them to the many soldiers now serving under me."
|

Post by Orange Glow on Sept 16, 2015 9:58:46 GMT
"Ooooo. I think that one would be amusing to feed to your soldiers," Orange pointed to the mare with a smirk.
She then turned her glance to Night and something in her head clicked for a moment. It was faint but she remembered this bat pony from her time in the hospital visiting he sister. An evil smirk slowly grew on her lips as an idea sparked in her mind. After a moment of thinking on her memories and a green flash she turned into an Orange mare that she recalled from the time in the park when she first turned into a changeling.
"Oh this one here, he doesn't have much love left. After I gravely injured him so. I don't think he would do any good to my brothers and sisters. Just throw him in a nice damp cell" She chuckled darkly.
