Joxer hums softly, staying somber as he slowly starts to walk on, sighing softly as he watches the clouds go by. Gently rubbing his neck as he does so, the tan stallion speaks at a normal, quiet tone.
"We're clear to move onward. Sorry." Internally sighing, he looks up at the sun and thinks to himself. Has it really been that long since I last fed..?

"Right. You are fine."
Trotting towards his home, Legion was simply happy to be back in his own town. Not enjoying the crowds of major cities, the changeling had made a turn in the main street. With Joxer just behind him, he pointed to a home just behind a rather tall tree. Moving faster in anticipation to get his armor off, he finally approached his door.

[Enter Legion & Joxer]
Trotting into the main street, light blue orbs glanced around in all directions. What was it ponies ate these days? Struggling with a response, he could only assume it was something to do with hay. "What craves you? Sweets? Grass? For a pony, you seem to act closed off and darker then the friendship loving creatures we've known to hate." Just thinking about the whole idea had the changeling gagging at its thoughts. Friendship, who needed it?

Joxer laughs softly and teleports back beside him, humming softly and eyeing a shop with some sandwiches in the front. Licking his lips for a moment he looks down at Legion and hums, "In all honesty, a sandwich or two with some piled on veggies, mayo and stuff sounds great. I could probably eat enough to fill a cow and still be hungry." He sighs and rubs his neck, raising his eye at the bug's statement at the end. "Hmf, that's because I'm not like normal ponies. Not just because of my past of killing them, but for other reasons as well."

The thought of such food had left Legion feeling oddly grossed out. Ignoring the flip in his stomach, the changeling nodded to his gesture. "Lets get food in you then." Noting his comment about murdering his own kind, he couldn't help but question why. While his race did it for acceptance, poniew actually killed their own for fun? Or was there an underlined development he wasn't understanding? "You thin differently then the others. I'll respect that. Other ponies I've worked with don't seem to usually fit my work ethic. You might do just fine." Giving him a compliment in disguise, Legion had walked over to the food shop with gusto. He wanted to get to work after all.

Stomach growling, Joxer doesn't wait for Legion to walk over there and teleports them both inside the place, a hungry need in his eyes as he points at something on the menu and drops a bag of bits on the counter while staring daggers into the pony behind the counter, calling for multiples of that order as he ran off.
As the pony goes to hurriedly make whatever it was he pointed at, Joxer's eyes flick over to Legion, humming softly. "Might, huh? I think differently because I was not a normal pony growing up. When you have someone who is as ruthless as..." He huffs and shrugs, "Anyways, you learn to get through the grit of death and the blood soaking your hooves. I didn't do it for fun until recently."

Chuckling at Joxer's honesty, Legion tapped his hoof with a soft smile gracing his lips. Joxer was such an interesting pony to learn from. "The past shapes us into who we are today. You have turned into a worthy soldier." Giving him a compliment and already hating himself for it, the changeling walked away. Awaiting the food, Legion couldn't help but feel as if something was off back home.
"Do you ever get the feeling you're needed somewhere else? I'm not certain if its a hive thing or a new pony thing. The Queen wouldn't be too happy with us if we detoured however. Back to the mission at hoof. Eat and teleport us to the badlands. The faster we get there, the faster our results will be." Returning to the stallions side, watching the staff rush in fear had actually been quite amusing.

Not caring at all what was being sad at the moment, Joxer gets his food, only slightly listening to Legion. After a few moments he turns around to listen to the end of his question, his large meal completely gone already, nodding slightly in agreement with what he was saying. "I do understand what you mean, but yes, mission first as always." Chuckling softly, Joxer hums and eyes an apple on the counter.
Taking the apple, Joxer bites it in half and walks outside. "Well, do you really want to be off so quickly?"

Running a hoof over his face with frustration, Legion eyed him carefully. Was he purposely trying to delay time? Avoiding the conversation all together, the soldier looked to the sky. The sun was setting and there was little time to waste.
"I like to get missions over and done with. Besides that, her majesty certainly does not like to be kept waiting." Following him out of the restaurant and onto the pavement once more, his wings flapped in preparation. "Lets go."

Chuckling slightly at the emotion written on his face, Joxer hums softly and cracks a grin, eye's shining softly as he rolls his shoulders; a cracking sound echoing from them.
"Well, little one, there is no need for such a rigid posture when you have adventures like these." With a soft laugh at some kind of inside joke, as well as a small flash of blue, the pair disappears into the darkening air.
[Exit Joxer and Legion]
