[Enter a much delayed Noble Persona from the Palace Entrance Door/Hallway]
Noble slowly came around, the mask of seriousness slipping as he searched deep within himself. So deep that he lost track of where he was and what was going on around him. He'd had vengeful feelings again, feeling angry as his usual internal conflict of being impoverished but retaining his honor as he resigned himself to the potential of an honorless death. His stomach certainly wouldn't appreciate that decision. On the other hand...it hadn't been that long since the war ended. Still too soon to think about what happens with their conquerors. Then there was the thing with his telling ponies he still contracted with the rulers for weapons and armor, despite that ending when the war did. He couldn't back up what he said to Strong, and he'd lied to that scholar. Just to feel a little better about himself.
He wandered to the ruins of a bakery, unaware of where his hooves were taking him. As he stopped and came to the realization that he was well and truly bucked (By his own mind, no less) no matter which way he chose, he struck a beam in frustration. This caused the section of floor he was standing on to give way, causing him to fall into a cellar and land on long abandoned sacks of stale flour. A white cloud rose from the hole, but Noble remained stationary until the cloud dispersed, a distant, sorrowful look in his eyes.
"I don't belong anymore..." He murmured under his breath, slowly getting up to get out of the mess he was in.

[Enter Plush Ramen & Orange Glow]
Making her way through the wide ranged field, stepping onto the crisp pavement was a nice change of pace. Relieved to see the city before her exhausted and emotionless eyes once again, Plush Ramen glanced back. Noticing the halflings lag, Orange Glow's injury wasn't the best in a hurried situation. Twitching her injured wing in place, folding it all the way was useless, the stinging sensation creeping up on her subconscious every chance it took as her determinated hooves moved further.
"I better get a damn medal for bringing myself back to prison here."
Rolling her eyes and strolling forward, the entire day had just put the mare in quite a sour mood. Being ripped from her cell to being this creature's personal amusement hadn't sat well with her in the slightest. While Orange Glow had her quirks, the orange coated mare couldn't help but feel as though omething else was at stake here. This halfling was supposed to be training her against her will, and so far she's done nothing but listen to what Plush wanted to do. Some prison keeper she was. Stopping short of the middle of the street, blue sapphire orbs look around with confusion. Spotting the various ponies not far off, hesitant hooves remained frozen in place. Looking up and spotting what looked to be hell coming their way, the mare lowered her head with a frustrated sigh.
"Awesome. Can I just return to my quiet cell now? I appreciate you taking me to the cemetery, but my thrill of the world is over. I think I should die there compared to dying by that."
Pointing to the distant mountain top at the two headed dragon ahead, her voice had sounded rather calm for such an occasion. Not fearing death, her only request had already been denied, what more could she live for? Dragging herself in the direction of the prison gates, Plush hadn't cared for Orange Glow's opinion anymore. There'd be a doctor there, she'd turn out just fine im her nook. After all, their magnificent Queen could handle the drama just above. She wasn't ever going to train for some arena battle, she could barely manage to hold herself up these days. Whatever they had in mind, they certainly attained the wrong mare for the job. Whoever she used to be, wasn't the pony she was today.
"What the.." Twitching an ear to the sounds of rustling and the snapping of wood, the troublesome mare had turned with a hunch. Following the sounds and focusing with the.only good skill she had going for her right now, Plush had nearly stepped into the hole herself. Inside what was left of bakery, questioning orbs glanced down to the hole, her pupils spotting something odd. A pony was down there? Telling herself to just walk away, the big hearted mare struggled internally before finally speaking up.
"Hello? Are you trapped? Are you okay?"

Orange's ears flopped down in dismay as she saw the two headed dragon. Orange was certainly no match for such a beast, and there was probably little she could do to help the ponies near it. Orange now fully ignoring the pain in her hoof from the bite quickly made her way over to Plush. "No, you absolutely can no go back to your cell, you have a fight to loose still. After all I'm sure they could pit you against a stick and you'd loose after 3 rounds." Orange tried to joke to lighten her spirits, which fail miserably.
Upon getting closer to the raven maned mare she too noticed the hole, though she could feel the other ponies dismay before even getting to the hole. Right now Orange was in her normal pony form to avoid ponies staring a her, though must knew her pony form. Though now she had a cutie mark for transfiguration! Anyways.. Orange looked down into the hole at the pony and called own very sarcastically. "Oh no.. You're doomed.. No pony is gonna come and save you"

Noble sighed as ponies came to investigate. He didn't need others coming in to laugh at his misery, and he was too proud to admit that he wanted to just break down. He tried, but in the end, he didn't try hard enough to keep going. He looked up to the pair and gave a half-hearted glare. The orange appeared concerned, but her friend... The way Noble was feeling, he had half a mind to deck her. But such an action was probably not a good idea.
"I'm alright. Just...didn't watch my footing," He said, a flash replacing his body as he appeared at eye level with them both. He grabbed the ledge as he fell again, knowing this section was stable, though he wasn't to sure it would stay that way. "I don't suppose I could ask you ladies for a rescue?"

Ignoring Orange Glow's rude comment for the moment, the silent mare had begun to calculate the projection angles from all sides. Silently cursing herself for her injured wing, flying down to get him was an automatic no in her book. Turning to the disguised pony next to her, magic may be the last key to his safety. Blinking with a daze at the lavender stallions next move, spotting him so close before dangling for his life, couldn't understand it. If he could save himself, why did he bother staying down there.
"Uh.. alright."
Lowering herself to the floor and hoping Orange Glow would catch her if she fell, Plush tried. Placing her back hoof in a close floor hole of its own, the mare concentrated. As if doing this before, the pegasus went to his own hole. Lowering herself accordingly, the raven maned mare had been completely blank faced, her actions but another days work. Reaching for his hoof and closer to him then she could ever be, Plush awaited his hoof in return. Hearing the small cracks from the buildings structure, her back hoof holding her in place wasn't sounding like it could last long at all. Knowing this, Plush Ramen had tried to rush. Being tall certainly came in handy for days like this.
"Come."

Noble grabbed her hoof, holding it tightly as he released the beam. He was certainly glad for the orange mare's help. He was fairly certain the cellar door was buried in rubble. Still, he held on for dear life, awaiting her next action or instruction. The wrong move could see her join him down there, then they'd both need rescuing.

Orange Glow, while of course was going to help the stuck stallion originally couldn't help but notice her mare companion's flanks. Licking her chops for a moment before moving in, she shook the impure thoughts from her mind. Orange grabbed a hold of the mare's tail with her maw and used what little magic she had to hold a bit onto Plush to make sure she didn't fall. "I have you Plush," The mare said muffled because of the tail.
Orange though had put everything they were doing aside for the moment, noting that Plush was clearly still ready to help at a moments notice. She wasn't quiet as useless and broken as she was leading on, whether she'd admit it to herself or not was up to her. Orange made a mental note to bring this up later with the mare, but for now they were saving a stallions life.

Grasping the stallions hoof tightly and bringing her other hoof to his arm, the orange coated mare begun to pull him up. Using what upper body strength she had left, Plush had pulled him closer. Using her legs to curl upwards, it was just like doing a painful weight filled upside down pull up.
"Ok-ay Orange, pull."
To the average pony, Plush Ramen had looked like she had been doing this all her life. To the skilled eye, she was suffering. Despite her clear body tone and muscle build, being locked away for 5 and a half yrs had put a toll on the mare's emotional and physical confidence. If Noble looked carefully, his eyes could surely spot the deep scars on both her hoof and collarbone. This pony wasn't a changeling in the slightest. Lifting them up from her leg muscles mixed with Orange Glow's tug, they were close.. so close. It was up to the halfling now.

Ignoring the pain in her hoof from where the Wolverine had torn into it with it's teeth from the earlier fight Orange tugged with all her physical and magical might pulling them both out of the hole. Orange smirked to the two after successfully pulling them up, the mare didn't know she had that much strength left. (Short post just to get us out of the hole )

As the two mares worked together to pull him up, Noble felt those same feelings as before he fell into the hole. He felt useless... A full-grown stallion needing two mares to save him. He saw the scars on one, along with their injuries.
Sitting down by the pair, his outward appearance showing a grateful expression. Inside, however, he was in a horrible state, battling feelings of uselessness and isolation. He thought of himself as a relic so early in his life, clinging to the last thing he had left after the war ended. But it was his archaic honor that kept him so firmly rooted in the past. But what could he do? His kind wouldn't survive in this new world.
"Thank you both...I'm sorry to make you perform a rescue in your conditions... Maybe I can do something about your injuries to repay you?" He offered, reaching for a pouch at his flank.

Relieved to get out of the situation so fast, the mare had collected herself accordingly. Standing up and shaking it off, dull depressed orbs glanced into his own. Nodding to his appreciation, Plush wiped away the dust and debris from her fur, her hooves moving towards the street once again. Knowing Orange would follow, her blank faced expression had turned to look back at his one last time. From her eyes, he was way more then what what ponies saw. He looked smart, brave and somehow down on his luck. Did she know the feeling?
"You are welcome. I suggest watching where you are walking next time around. As for these.. injuries, the prison staff can handle them for me. I appreciate it though. Its not every day a pony wants to help heal the criminals of today."
Honest and slightly brutal in her response, the mare was done hiding. Everytime she met someone knew, fear of them knowing her past was always on the line. Instead, she wasn't trying to make friends anymore, she was merely stating the obvious. She heard what Orange said, it didn't matter if she couldnt fight. It was useless to try.

At the mare's words, Noble shook his head, lowering his gaze and trying to shadow his eyes with his bangs so she wouldn't see his expression, though the success of this gesture was debatable. "What do I have left to lose? I already lost family in the war and my job when the Queen rose to power. All I have is my honor and my life, and that's just keeping me stuck in the past, so what is my life worth?"
Maybe he shouldn't be putting himself down so much, but with no way out, what was he meant to do? He was steadily losing his rational edge. What other skills could he be losing? Maybe his swordsmanship was slipping as well, then he'd be in even more trouble.

Orange stops Plush in her tracks with a heavy sigh shaking your head. "First off you are NOT going back to prison, even if you were I'd make sure it was a living hell. Secondly, this nice colt has offered to try to tend to our wound and I say we let him. You wing is ruffed up and my hoof is mangled, we definitely need the help."
Orange approached the station and smiled a bit, "I'm sorry about my attitude before, if you'd still like to repay us by tending to our wounds we'd be greatful."

Noble fished out a pair of crystals, each glowing green. The light inside shimmered like water, but the crystals didn't look hollow. They looked like bottles, but lacked a hollow inside. "Please forgive me in advance. This may be a little uncomfortable." He said, pressing one crystal to his lips and inhaling the strange glow. Holding it in his mouth, he gestured for Orange's injured hoof.
Why help these ponies? What did he get from it? Before the war, he thought it a privilege to have the power to help ponies. Only now did he realize his arrogance, his pride. Yet, he felt a spark of familiarity... Nay, a glimmer of hope for his own future in this simple act of helping these mares. Perhaps it was not he who didn't belong. Rather, his pride and sense of honor was the archaic and outdated factor. If he wished to live, he must adapt and improvise. It was a small realization, but it was enough to keep him from ending his life and wasting away into nothing, dying without honor in some gutter.
The healing mist seeped from the corners of his mouth as his horn flared to stop it being absorbed into his own body. His wounds were not the physical variety...

"I don't know what you expect of me Orange Glow, but its frustrating."
Huffing in response to Orange Glow's words, the orange coated mare had stopped moving. Shifting her gaze to the depression stallion, blue sapphire orbs glanced with uncertainty. He had no price tag on life, no worth to his aid, and yet, he yearned to help for repentance. Watching Orange go first, her eyes never left his hooves, observing each and every detail that seemed to entice the magical elements involved.
"You question your place on this new world, yet you linger to your past. To move on, you must overcome. Whats done is done, and there's nothing you can do about it. Keep yourself closed off you're better off that way."
Sitting down closer to Orange Glow, Plush looked away. He was no problem of hers. Sighing internally, there was one thing she couldn't understand. Why did she save him in the first place? In the past, she tried to make amends from her darker ways. Now, she had no reason to, she wasn't going to live long enough to really make any sort of difference. What was the point?

Orange glow gave the stallion her hoof albeit a bit nervously, he was a stranger by all counts, but she needed her hoof to be healed. She watched the stallion closely as she gave him her hoof, looking for any sign of a trap. Orange still wasn't used to pony kindness anymore. Watching the magic seep from the corner of his mouth for a few moments Orange defiantly thought this was a pretty cool magic spell. Though it looked like it relied on those crystals he pulled out earlier.
"Well a little bit of uncomfortable pain now is worlds better than walking on an injured hoof." Orange nods ready for the healing.

Gingerly taking the darker mare's hoof, Noble began blowing that green mist on her injuries. He thought about the orange mare's words. She was right on about two things. What's done is done, so there's no point dwelling the past. He needed to move on, alter his outlook and survive. He couldn't close himself off like she'd said. Bottling up his feelings would make things worse.
The mist seeped into the mare's fur, repairing her injuries and restoring her strength. Once the last had been exhaled, Noble spoke again. "Not uncomfortable as in painful. The only way to administer this to others is as a healing mist, due to the way I made them. I imbued the crystals with some of my power, along with a basic healing formula." He said, starting to repeat the process for the orange mare, starting with her wing. The green mist slowly washed over her as it did for her companion, healing wounds and restoring vitality. He had 2 crystals remaining for today, but it had been worth it. Helping these two gave him a glimmer of purpose again.

"Unicorns."
Mumbling to herself, Plush Ramen had never fully understood the science behind magic. Irritating her through the gifted abilities of those she's faced, unicorns were treated better. Rolling her eyes in an attempt to ignore the odd mist, the mare's clawed wing had twitched at its contact, sensitive to the touch. Growing quiet as she listened to the two respond back and forth, the orange coated pegasus tried to relax. Flowing to the side of her face, the mare's raven black mane had followed the breeze starting to pick up. Turning her head to the direction, curious orbs watched with uncertainty at the suns shift in position. Evening was already upon them, and a few hours more, and darkness would come once again. If one would look, behind the mare's neck, laid an odd symbol. Almost like a tattoo, the magical burns were there to stay.
"Thanks for this.. I doubt her majesty would want me injured. Yet.."
Turning to look at Orange Glow with a more frustrated gaze, Plush certainly wasn't happy with any of this. These terms had made her into a fool for thinking she'd have a chance at surviving. With Night alive however, the mare lightened up. If she could just push through.. a third chance could be given.
"Unless you magically turn out to be a master trainer, it seems we're at standstill."

[Enter Augite]
Crashing onto the rough granit pavement below, a massive beast had bestowed Canterlot City with its disruptive presence. While its sudden appearance was less then graceful, its rebound time had quickly made up for the factor. Unfurling its scaled form, the incredibly tall half ton creature had came out of its shell with a crackling fit of laughter. Causing the main street to rattle at his wake, the black two headed dragon was ready to rumble!
Scarred from the colts wrecking ball, its facial features on both heads had shown indents, Himmel's moves weren't half bad. Scanning the city from top to bottom, each side while connected to the same body, did its part. The left head, eager and in wait, wanted nothing to do with the meaningless ponies of today. Its goal? To defeat the strongest creature in this land. Intelligent and writing out the weakened links scrambling for their puny lives, its mouth continued to open as a deepened vpice broke through the silent barrier once again in laughter.
The right head however, was a completely different story. Full of flames and an ego to go with it, its temper was no laughing matter. Stonping its clawed feet towards the homes of the citizens around, the dense right head had opened up in anticipation. Bursting out of its jaw with a murderous fury, burning flames had begun to spread through the main street strip like a wildfire.

Stepping into the sunlight, Vaan felt a natural warmth flow over him. Perhaps a calming sensation telling him everything will be okay. Quickly as the feeling came, it went. Seeing the massive two-headed figure, Vaan knew the trouble he had stepped in. Taking another deep breath, he took a step forward. Backup was on the way. His only job was to find the kid.
He checked his repeating crossbow to see the magazine was full, looked inside his quiver to make sure he had extra bolts for the upcoming battle, and flexed his wings. He had never seen a dragon before nonetheless, fight one. Before he knew what he was doing, he was taking aim towards the eyes of left head of the beast and firing off his shots.

[Enter Himmel]
Himmel, while still in both pain and shock, still was able to maneuver himself to land in a way that he lessened the damage he had already received from the dragon. Still, the damage he had received was anything but light. The little colt groaned as he push himself up from his posistion, clutching his bleeding side.
"Damnit...Didn't think he would actually nick me..." Himmel muttered to himself as he took stock of where he was exactly
Himmel couldn't help but chock down a groan of despair.
Already the heat of the dragon's flame could be felt by the colt, the drain recovering from his fall far faster then he had. The one colt watched as buildings burned and ponies fled all around him, cementing the fact that he had failed his duty as a hero to keep the dragon out of the city.
Himmel lowered his head, a hoof quickly wiping across his eyes before standing up. With tear stained eyes the colt made his way slowly towards the rampaging drake, more determined then ever to stop it. He may have failed before...but a hero never gives up...not when they still have the ability to move...and Himmel was still a mobile colt. Tearing the scarf from around his neck, the little colt would wrap the cloth around his torso, wincing as he tightened it hard around his wound. He was sure that he bought himself more time before he passed out from bloodloss. He had better make this attack count.
Slowly but surely, the foolhardy colt would make his way to the drake, his weapon held tight within his hoof.

Orange let out an "eep!" in shock as the two headed dragon came down near them. As soon as she saw the dragon her hers instantly flopped down. This did not look good for anypony involved, though by some stroke of luck the stallion had just finished healing her. She felt invigorated with energy, but at the same time fear was deep in her heart. Orange slowly back away before she noticed the little colt fighting for his life to defend the city against the terrifying dragon many times his and hers size. Orange couldn't just run from this could she? No she couldn't, but she didn't have anywhere near of a clue of how'd she be able to help. She already admitted earlier to Plush she wasn't really a much of a fighter. Now thinking of Plush Orange cocked her head looking to the mare.
"Listen Plush I don't expect you to fight as you have clearly grown wimpy and scared over the last 5 years, but I don't think I can sit idle while that colt fights for his life to defend the city. I... I don't care if I end up losing my life here and now, but I will not let that poor colt fight alone. Pony or not." Orange growled and quickly took to the air to get above the dragon.
When she was far enough above the dragon she began launching green fiery explosive balls at it, she didn't want to get in close to the being as she could clearly feel the flames from where she was and could tell they were simmering hot. Though she was careful with her magic to try not to harm any of the ponies near it, they would be her priority for the time.

Noble looked to the orange mare and drew a weapon, a gleaming silver sword. "I'm going, too. Nopony, regardless of origin or status, should face danger alone." He said before darting into battle with the other mare. His problems faded to the back of his mind and he focused on three options: Disable the Dragon, distract the dragon until the guards arrived, and rescue civilians caught in the crossfire. He began weighing up his options, which would be of greatest benefit.
Deciding he was going to assist the colt until the royal guard arrived to handle the dragon, he performed a series of Blinks to get to higher ground. From there...he just needed to figure out where to actualy hit it. "Well...time to test the combat applications of my new powers..." He said, scooping up a small rock and imbuing it with some magic. He knew what he wanted it to do. Once he tossed it at the dragon, the rock would trigger the explosive enchantment. Still experimental, but as good a chance as any to test it. Putting all his faith in it, he concentrated his telekinesis and pushed the rock as hard as he could without draining his strength too much. He only had 2 healing crystals left, so he couldn't go overboard.

Overwhelmed with emotions stiring from her very core, the mare had lept up in fear at the crash before them. Lacking the ability to catch her breath, Orange Glow's words weren't enough to get her to help, in fact, it did quite the opposite. Backing away as the flames threatened to overtake their position, Plush turned to the grassy fields for escape. Watching Orange Glow and Noble take off towards the dangerous creature, the mare moved fast. Breaking her frozen state, the injured pegasus relied on her legs to take her the rest of the way. Galloping as fast as she can, the mare didn't look back. If this was her only chance at redeeming freedom, she was going all out.
Threatening to stop her in her tracks, flashbacks of her dangerous ways crawled back into her subconscious with bitter results. What was she thinking? She was a dangee to everypony around, she shoild rush back to prison! Clenching her eyes shut as she pushed through the dreadful memories that were, Plush was soon nowhere in sight.

Steel paid little attention to the fleeing mare passing him by, already feeling that she was just trying to get away from the flames. And for good reason. Already the stallion could felt the lick of the flames hit on his body. The intensity was breathtaking just as much as it was fear inducing. Still, he could not stop. Defeating the dragon and getting others to safty was the top priority now.
Reaching back, the stallion pulled his sheathed sword out, holding the covered blade between his teeth as he charged foward, following the others example that seemed to be taking on the drake.

Lancing through the erupting explosions with sharpened scales eager for battle, Augite swung with a deepened roar. Deligating its other half to aim with a target in mind, the left side seemed to become more of the control center of the crainum at stake. Snapping its crunching jaws to Orange Glows position, stomping feet had cleared the way for a pretty dangerous flattening of anyone clinging foolishly around. Getting closer to the grey mare as its deadly mouth aimed to puncture, its dagger filled claw had reached up for quite a surprise attack at hand.
With fire magic doing little to no damage to the beasts enormous frame, the message should have been clear. Those who breathe it, eat it. Screeching out at Noble's puny attempts, the right side of the dragon was nothing but hot air. Not wishing to communicate, its amused grin signaled its own enjoyment. Heeding its brothers words on aiming, its mouth opened again for a sideways blast to the lavender stallion's position. How was that for aim! Moving his own arm around for a slice of glory, the clawed brutual grip had launched out for Himmel himself. Long in reach, his swipes were fast and nearly accurate. He didnt just want the brat to be lit up, he yearned for something greater!
While aiming for Orange Glow's position, the left side had cleared his own throat. Between the rapid snaps and near deadly catches, the intelligent darkened creature laughed at her wary nature. "You afraid?! You no ponaay! It will only hurt lots!" Clearly never given much schooling on grammar and speaking lessons, the snickering beast was more then happy to gloat and boat. After all, he was the strongest thing here! What more did he need? Spotting the stallion far off with a sword, its wings unfurled with a mighty flap, aiming to blow away some of the competition in waves.

The moment Astral made it to the street, he broke into a dead sprint. Moving as fast as his legs would carry him, he hoped nobody would see him, including the dragon. While he wasn't sure where he was going, all he knew was that it wouldn't be here.
Just as he began passing the dragon and all the other ponies, a very powerful blast of wind from the beast's wings picked Astral up and sent him sailing away.

Finishing his magazine, the griffin knew his bolts were of no affect; the scales of the beast were too thick. Though it seemed like nothing was working against it. Quickly, he reloaded but this time with explosive rounds. He shot a few, hoping to disrupt the beast's moements since he began to notice the dragon preparing multiple strikes. He knew everyone was in danger but his direct orders were to get the kid.
Firing off more shots towards the beast's head, Vaan flapped his wings and pushed himself towards the young child(Himmel). His griffon wings pumped hard; a change from his usual hover. Soon he streamlined, cutting through the wind until he was in arms reach of the colt. His arms grabbed him and brought him close.
Unfortunately, Vaan's speed plus the force of the swipe sent the griffon careening down the street. He turned himself around and braced for impact against a wall. The impact was painful and any air that was in his lungs was now gone.
"Ouch..." Vaan whispered, almost comically. He rolled the pony off of him and began to regain his breathe.

Noble had to act fast if he didn't want to be singed, Blinking away swiftly to get away from the flames. He smelled burning hair, realizing his tail got caught in the fire. Cursing himself for being so lax over the last year or two, as his skills were indeed slipping from a lack of use, he realized he was alive so far because of muscle memory and deeply-set reflexes.
Taking the brief moment allowed to him, Noble scooped up a few more rocks. This time, he set them to release an icy burst. Quickly twisting his body into an acrobatic flip, he fired the first rock at the Dragon's maw, lining up a second projectile with one of its eyes as he landed, slipping and losing his footing for a moment, but a moment was just long enough to send him tumbling to the ground. "Damn...After this...I'm getting back in shape..."

To say that Himmel was utterly screwed the second he saw the Claw aiming for him was an understatement. One for the record books one may add. He made to jump out of the way but the pain in his torso pretty much prevented him from doing so. With only seconds left, the colt held up his forehooves, readying himself for the impact of his life...only for him to feel something feathery grab hold of him instead. A familer feathery that he was quite use to when he was living with his old master.
He barely had time to think much about it as he and the one holding him came to a sudden and erupt stop. He would soon feel the one release him back on to the ground as they laid there, his dizzy gaze finding his savour's form easily enough.
"W...wha...you...you saved me..." it wasn't a question. It was a straight up fact.
