Mane: Thanks to several experiments and changes in her genetics, the changeling grew a mane and a tail, both in an amethys violet hue which she also ows her name to, giving her a distinctifly different looks from the usual changeling drone.
Eyes: The usual changeling eyes in a bright blue, only that hers seem to be more similar to a fly's eye (Arthropodic eyes) also because of the many experiments she was forced into.
Living Relatives: Having been born and raised at E.G.O.E.S. the only pony or changeling she sees as relatives are Doctor Titania Placenta which she refers to as Mommy and Queen Chrysalis thanks to an intense loyalty training she recieved from the moment she was born, going as far as refering to her as Mom when thinking about the Queen.
General description: Amethyst has the ordinary body of a changeling drone. There are a few differences though. For instance, she grew a mane and a tail over her time at E.G.O.E.S. as a combination of the experiments the ponies did on her and the special skills she earned after being tested on so much. Her eyes also seem disturbingly big as they were more akin to a fly's eyes than a ponies or changelings eyes. She is often seen with a grin or smile on her face, even if she gets yelled at or if she hurt herself.
Most of her time, she tries to follow Doctor Placenta, growing very uneasy and twitchy if she doesn't see the doctor for a certain amount of time. Considering her age and her loyalty to the Doctor, she accepted the mare as her mother and even sometimes refers to her as such.
With her actually being so young, through various procedures, her mind had been altered to grow and take in information quicker, setting her on a mental age of 12. With that, she is able to communicate and understand basic tasks and logic. Her body actually grew out to its full size already, letting her stand as tall as any other adult pony or changeling, once more because of the many unsave tests and projects.
Skills: Thanks to Doctor Placenta's and the other ponies experiments and tests on the baby changeling drone, Amethyst has gathered a very certain pair of skills in the little two years she was locked up in E.G.O.E.S. Through changes in her life genetics and by trapping her for hours at a time in the phase between changing disguises, her changeling magic, including disguising as a pony and other changeling abilities have been permanently damaged.
The changes also gave her another set of skills though. Instead of being able to change into a ponies body, Amethyst learned how to change her actual changeling body into shapes and grotesque forms she imagines. Growing a second pair of wings or adding more mouths to her face were some of the easier things she has done. Though the extra body parts always shrivle up and die rather quickly once Amesthys isn't trying to maintain them anymore.
She has also been trained in combat by the doctor's as she was the first surviving subject of the experiments the doctor's had in mind in the Queen's "Project Harmony". While she wasn't anything to be proud of by far, she still was a half success so she was trained and used in combat agains various animals and other ponies and changelings. She utilises her control over her body in battle as well, quickly regrowing cut off body parts or adding a thorn on the end of her hoof to stab her enemy with.
Faults: With her body and mind having been altered to make her grow quicker, she didn't get away without a few lasting damages. With only a mental age of 12 and a body age of 23, she often acts like the child she actually is, having a hard time to understand difficult tasks or questions. She also sometime's doesnt have full control over her body, seeing as she isn't used to having such a big body without "growing" into it.
It would also be important to mention that thanks to the changes in her genetics and abilites, she got to the point of being completely unable to form a believeable disguise. If she was to try to disguise as a pony, said disguises would end up horrifying like a one eyed, three legged pony with two sets of mouths.
The last thing to mention in her faults is her lack of moral or understanding for other beings. Raises by mostly Placenta and her science collegues, she had barely any contact with other ponies that weren't about tests, science or fighting, thus rendering her socially incapable of some of the most basic social interactions.

Even if Placenta subjected her to horrible tests, Amethyst never stopped following the doctor's orders or even dared to think anything the unicorn did was wrong.
At that point, Amethyst was recieving her treatment and experiments alone, sometimes enduring extreme pain and exhaustion under isolation to see how far the scientists could go without breaking her. Her body and mind were both altered to age quicker, her mind after two years already at the age of 12 and her body at the age of 23. But after countless times of being strapped down to a table for experiments, being forced to stay in the middle of changing disguises with her magic and combat training, she began to smile a lot for no reason, her mind having seemingly gone somewhat aloof. She giggled when she got strapped to a table or laughed without control while fighting an enemy.
One day, she noticed that she was unable to change her disguise anymore, being stuck in her normal changeling form. She had grown a mane and tail, both in a deep violet and nopony was sure how she did it without her magic. Her eyes had changed into Arthropodic eyes, being able to notice things moving even if they were nearly right behind her. Nopony knew just how she was able to do it until she was struck during one training lesson, one of her wings falling limply to the ground. While the doctors thought that she was another failed experiment, Amethyst only laughed while strange cracking sounds emerged from her body. Soon not only one but three new wings grew on her back before she launched herself at her enemy, mauling him brutally with three sets of mouths all over her face. Soon after the fight, the additional body parts shriveled up and fell off her body in a lifeless state.
With some scientists having witnessed what happened, they tried to cut off some of her limbs to see what she would do. Under extreme pain and exhausting concentration, she was able to not only regrow said limbs, she also made them especially hard that time, the bonesaws of the doctor's not able to break through the thick plating anymore.
After that, Amethyst used her skills to defend and sometimes hurt the scientists that tried to use her for experiments, only submitting to Doctor Placenta as she had grown to see the mare as her own Mother, trying to follow her around and growing disturbed and paniced if she didn't see the doctor for more than a day.
