Name: Swift Edge
Nickname: Blinding Needle
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Species: Pegasus
Place of Birth: Everfree Forest
Occupation: N/A
Allegiance: Chaotic Good (I fight for what I find right, and I do it my way!)
Relationship Status: Married (to an OC I have without a story. Golden Notes)
Mane: Ragged. Striped bloodred and bright red.
Eyes: Amber
Living Relatives: Wife and one child.
General Description: Stained white coat with a ragged mane and tail. Generous amount of scars from living in the wilds. Not very well-kept.
Skills: Fencing and various other rapier styles. Is a survivalist and skilled tactician. Decent with stealth and has deadly accuracy. Has keen perception.
Faults: Not very sociable. Not fond of magic or its users, as magic has corrupted his home. Is filled with vengeance and rage for the death of his parents.
Equipment: A single master-crafted rapier, a plank of wood, a dozen vials of antidote, a dozen vials of tranquilizer, a bag of herbs, and a long cloth for bandaging.
History: Born and raised in the Everfree, this stallion has grown accustomed to the wilds and the creatures that inhabit it. While his parents were alive, they taught him valuable lessons about surviving in such a harsh environment. His father taught him swordplay and various tactics, whereas his mother taught him how to heal himself with poultices and antidotes. Swift quickly learned, and soon mastered, the art of the rapier. He was granted a very special rapier from his father, which was crafted many ages ago. He also picked up on herbalism and soon became familiar with dozens of helpful and harmful flora.
One day, his parents went out to gather more herbs and spices from the forest. When they returned, they had both been badly wounded, but they had what they were searching for. Swift attempted to use the knowledge his mother gifted him with to heal both of his parents. Sadly, he failed.
After a while, he had grown weary of being alone, and began searching for a suitable mare. He found one. A beautiful magenta pony with gold eyes and dandelion and purple hair. They wed and had a healthy baby filly, which they named Star Gazer due to her sparkling purple eyes.
Swift vowed to protect his new family and avenge his fallen parents.

The last 3 years:
Over time, Swift noticed a change in the environment. Smog began to show it's ugly face, slowly killing all life around him. He concocted a brew that would allow him to breathe this deadly gas. On an expedition to restock his herbs, he happened along a fox that was on the brink of death. Swift gave the fox a sip of the brew in hopes that it may stay alive long enough for him to retrieve whatever herbs he could find. After returning, and finding the fox still alive, Swift picked it up and brought it back home. The home now had a special incense that kept the smog at bay, so that Swift could keep his family safe. He cared for and nurtured the fox back to health in hopes of maybe having a hunting partner.
Over the years, Swift and the fox became very close. Star Gazer had grown up enough to start speaking, and she was having fun with the fox. Swift hadn't given the fox a name, but, instead, a sound. A simple tapping of the hoof against wood. Golden Notes was curious as to why Swift did this, but later stopped questioning it.
Soon, Swift's inventory dwindled faster than it could be replenished. He decided it would be best to relocate to someplace safer. He heard word of some caves in the Smoky Mountains that were home to a camp. He and his family set off to find these mountains, each hoping to find something different. For Swift, a safe haven to protect his family and the fox. For Golden, culture and a friend for Star.
