Selling things from fruits and vegetables to supplies needed for the post war healing, the market place is located just off of the main street in Canterlot City.

[Enter Orange and Plushface]
Orange ran into the markets looking around, her cheery demeanor quickly began to disappear as she noticed the same thing all around. Almost all of the shops were closed or destroyed. Some of them were of course operational.. But this area needed work now more than ever. Orange looked to Plush questioningly.
"Do you think.. We can really do this?"

"Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose. Today is what's left, nothing is promised. If you will yourself to believe you can't make a difference, you can't, but if you try, you'll be surpised what hard work and motivation can do."
Wandering around the leftover shops and the creatures big and small running it, she seemed almost wise compared to her old self, her eyes never stopping the search. All of these inspirational words, she was turning into her mother after all. Suddenly realizing she had absolutely no money, the mare turned around with a nervous and apologetic smile.
"Ehe.. have any bits? At the very least, we could look through the abandoned homes, maybe some things were left behind."

"I have some bits.. And I suppose that we could, so long as they are abandoned. Don't want anypony thinking Orange Glow is stealing from the ponies" Orange chuckles nervously to Plush.

"Oh please, you're literally watching over a criminal, I doubt you'd take the blame."
Looking around, Plush had absolutely no idea what she was doing, but something told her that was okay. Moving towards the homesteads, an idea popped into her head the pegasus motioned for her to follow. Galloping through the market place, she stopped short at the end before stretching open her wings. Flapping them lightly, it seemed nothing in this bruised market was going to help them right now. Gliding over the ground and not hovering too far from sight, Plush Ramen headed towards the homes abandoned from war.

[Enter Plush and Orange again]
Orange landed only a bit ahead of Plush, turning around she noticed she was right behind her. Orange looked over all the homes and the market place it's self. "Well here looks as good a place as any Plush"

Catching up and shrugging, at this point in time, it didn't matter to her. This was important to the changeling half breed, surely she could make some community service out of this. With that excuse actually making her feel alittle better about being out of prison, Plush Ramen had walked up to a building in particular. Touching its panel siding once used to shade the market sellers items from sun damage now nothing more then a crumbling mess, she sighed. Thinking of tools she might need, the mare had begun to tear off the hazardous pieces from harms way.

Orange witnessing what the mare was doing rather quickly followed suit. She started removing debris that was far to damaged to be used and began to pile it in the middle of the market. She set out two piles of debris, what she thought they might be able to use and scrap. It didn't take her to long to do this, thank the queen for magic. She sighed softly in content of what they had started. Only a couple of ponies had walked by while they were doing this, watching from a distance trying not to be noticed. Though with Orange being a halfling it was nearly impossible to hide from her. Orange looked over to Plush and cast her a smile after brushing her mane out of her face now dripping with sweat. She didn't lie when she told Plush she wasn't a strong magic user at the prison.
"Plush! I think we are doing a pretty good job, I think we can even repurpose some of that wood and stuff there!"

Sweating herself before she could even realize it, the mare had looked up at the sunlight shining through on this nice day. It seemed a little hot, but perhaps that was due to the amount of work they had been doing. Before she knew it, Orange Glow's words rung through her eardrum. Looking to see their progress, the orange coated mare had actually offered a small satisfactory smile.
"You're right.. The market wasn't a bad place to start. With the amount of abandoned stores, we could even use some of these for homes or stores on the main street."
Glad she got to partake in helping the community, the hard working mare wasted no time getting back in the swing of things. Pushing herself further to make certain the wood would stick, pressure and patience was the key. Moving when it was time for Orange Glow to come in handy, the mare moved to the next building with supplies she assumed they would need for such a task. Not really paying attention to the ponies watching and walking by, Plush had only hoped they thought good things for the changeling helping out through it all.

"You are absolutely right! We could and I think we should. We are doing such a good job that no one could argue with us saying we aren't doing good. Hopefully we can get some of these places livable soon" Orange's wings fluttered with glee, her eyes even brighter with joy. Orange flew around collecting more and more loose debris. She spotted a place that didn't look to bad and look to Plush.
"Hey Plush? Why don't we start repairing that place it looks like it isn't that bad to begin with"

Nodding to Orange Glow and pulling away from her completed project, the worn down mare had walked towards the direction the halfing was pointing in. Nodding and picking up pieces to start with, with this being her first day out of a prison cell, it showed. Wearing down and crashing fast, despite the mare's motivational drive, her body was not in the least ready for such hard work out of being lazy for 5 and a half years straight.
Dropping her hammer and going to pick it up, Plush found herself a little too weak for comfort. Hating to be vulnerable, it was brutally hard for the mare to admit she was in need of care. Something she would never discuss, was becoming prominent as the mare collapsed on the hot pavement below. While laying down felt nice and relaxing, the unstoppable dizziness and shaken muscles was not quite so enjoyable in the end.

Orange ran over to Plush when she heard the hammer collapse along with Plush. Orange quickly looked over Plush with concern. "Are you okay?! Plush?!"
Orange didn't care at all about anything else at this point, the pony she was watching just collapsed! Even if she hated her or not, Orange was responsible and felt bad for her. After all Orange just worked this pony too hard.

Looking up to see the dark colored mare staring down in concern, Plush wasnt quite sure how she managed to fall in the first place. Running a hoof over her face and having no significant damage, the orange pegasus found herself rather weak. Staring up and glancing slightly away, the sun's bright rays weren't helping her eyesight as she smiled to Orange. While her body felt useless from the exceeding conditions compared to a lazy cell, Plush tried to make the best of it.
"Awh you do care."
Rough in speech, her voice was dry and slightly hoarse, however alive and clear she seemed to be. Groaning and trying to get up, the mare's shaken joints didn't wish to cooperate. Barely sitting up, she tried to push herself towards standing, her muscles dreading the idea. Conscious and making an effort, it was obvious she wasn't succeeding anytime soon. Not willing to admit her faults anytime soon, she merely tried to brush it off.
"I'm.. just going to sit here for a minute."

"Of course I care, I'm supposed to be watching over you.. I guess this is enough for today, well at least for you. I'll let you rest for a bit and then we can head back. Hopefully you'll be able to hold down your food this time when you eat.." Orange sighed a bit and sat besides Plush. She couldn't honestly believe this mare who used to be so strong had grown so weak. At this point Orange thought the worst of the mare for when she'd be forced to fight. There was likely no chance she'd survive.

Somewhat unsure if she should have felt offended or sorry for making them go back after only a few hours, Plush felt incredibly shitty. Sighing and shaking her head, the ex spy had gritted her teeth before pushing her body to its limits. Eventually standing up and panting, the stubborn mare wasnt about to give up just yet. While her stomach grumbled and her head felt heavy, Plush Ramen wasn't a quitter. Lifting the hammer with her wing, she moved forward with extreme care.
"No. I'm fine. We've done so much good in a short amount of time. We can continue."

"No we can't, we are heading back. Don't worry about it, we can do this again tomorrow. You were locked up in a small cell for a long time.. It makes sense you don't have the energy for it" Orange smiles softly and gently reaches out grabbing Plush's shoulder.

Jolting away at the changelings touch, Plush felt herself tensing up. Looking to those orange orbs with little to say, the exhausted mare had given up, simply nodding in the process. Slowly and steadily starting to walk, it was clear her muscles weren't quite cooperating as she took the time to breathe in between long periods of time. Glancing to Orange Glow, she felt so unsure on where she stood. At first, it seemed like the halfling wanted nothing more then to make her life miserable, and now, she could almost see a glimpse of kindness shining through the darkness.
"Alright.. Fine.. Lets go then."

Orange smiled a bit and teleported them both to the kitchen of the castle.
