Foalsitting shenanigans

[Moonlight Scroll]

Moon was standing in front of the large crystalline doors of the Ponyville Palace, a slightly tired yet happy look about him as he looked up at the large building that was home to one of the princesses... who also happened to have agreed to foalsit his foals for a little time. And by the princesses, he and Trixie needed the rest. Not to diminish the happiness of just having the two of them, he'd never regret that and there was seldom a moment he did not feel an immense love for them, but... sometimes it was just nice to breath out and relax.

All this was what through his head as he carefully lifted his hoof and gave the large door a knock before he looked back, at first towards the colt who was sitting on his back, staring in awe at the great castle in front of them, and then at his wife who looked about the same as him while carrying their daughter on her back.
"So, uhm, you think we brought enough?" He says to her, giving a small nod to their rather full-packed saddlebags. "I hope we didn't forget anything..."

[Trixie]

Trixie smiles to Moon and nods, she too look of back to tmher foals. She cast her gaze to the saddle bags rooting through them just to double check. "I think so.. I just hope our little angels don't drive Twilight mad."

A few moments later, the great doors of the castle rumbled open, surrounded by an aura of purple magic. Twilight stood inside, a wide smile on her face as she went out to greet them. "Trixie, Moon! Good to see you!" She exclaimed. "And these must be Artemis and Starlight?" She asked, looking the two foals over. 'I'm not sure what Trixie was talking about,' she thought. 'These two don't look like much trouble.'

Moon didn't have time answer Trixie before the doors were opened and his attention was taken elsewhere. He gave Twilight a big smile and a nod. "It's good to see you too Twilight! And yup, that they are. Come on you two, say hello." He says, with a warm smile as he looks back to the colt on his back.

The subsequent opening of the doors had drawn the colts attention and he was now staring big-eyed at the princess that stood before him. "Woooow! Are you an alicorn? Can you do super magic!?" He asks excitedly, peeking out from behind Moons head starry-eyed.

[Trixie]

Trixie smirked and looked to Twilight. "Sparkle"

Star slowly peered out from behind her mother's head. Examining the alicorn before softly speaking up. "Hello Princess Twilight"

Twilight giggled. "Yes, Artemis, I am an alicorn. And no, it's not super magic. It's the same magic that your parents can do, albeit stronger and with a slightly different magical formula." She turned to Starlight. "And hello to you. But please, you can just call me Ms. Sparkle. Ms. Twilight will be fine too."

"Woah... Cool! I want to know all of that magic too Ms. Twilit!" Artemis says, it not being clear if the fact that Alicorn magic wasn't "super magic" had gotten to him.

Moon meanwhile only chuckled as he leaned back a little to gently pick up the foal and put him on the ground in front of him. "Hmm, maybe Ms. Twilight can show you some spells, huh?" He says to him, giving Twilight a smile as the foal looked between his dad and the princess, a look of amazement and excitement again on him. "If she wouldn't mind that is." He adds, giving her a look that said that it probably would be best if she said yes to that.

Twilight smiled and nodded. "Of course! She smiled down at Artemis before turning to Starlight. "And is there anything you'd like to do tonight?" She asked sweetly.

[Trixie]

Starlight looked up to Twilight and shook her head. "No, I think I can manage on my own."
