Distant and drooping red eyes had darted from one pony in the room to the next when the doctor's voice came into reach. That voice. Starting to slowly follow the light show gifted by the doctor's magical aura, its malfunctioning head had begun to nod as if understanding its orders. While in reality, the creature was nodding to sleep, its clopping mass did little for the appetite, the experiment was still a living being worth giving attention to. Pleased by the emotions coming off of Placenta and projecting a gargle like sound in a pleasing motion, the beast had feelings too it seemed. Finally collapsing the rest of its body onto the floor and resting its head, the experiment had successfully fallen asleep.

Moia groaned and sighed. "OK, now zhat zhat is dealt vizh... Dr. Placenta, may I have a vord? In my office?" His tone did not sound in any way pleased. He had a rather flat experssion on his face.

The doctor found herself watching her now sleeping creation, letting her magic fizzle out as her face remained as stonefaced as ever. She only looked up as the sound of hoofsteps approached the two, security guards and the scientists responsible for this specific experiment. "A moment mister Moia." She said simply before addressing the collected group before her. "I expect your response to situations like these to be faster in the future. See to it that the security is ever alert for similar situations. Now escort PM-13 to another vat." She said to the guards specifically, getting a few nods and salutes in response, the newer ones staring at the creature. "And you." She said, looking to the, now squirming, scientists. "I will hear no excuses from you, but I expect you to have written a report on how PM-13 managed to escape at all on my desk in 24 hours. And you will take the necessary steps to ensure that the same situation will not happen again. Do we have an understanding?" She said coldly, getting weak, and in a few cases, whimpering, responses of affirmation from the scientists. "Good. Now get to it." Which they did quickly and with some relief.
"I apologise for the situation mister Moia. And certainly, but clearly it would be considered inefficient to walk all the way back to your office. I believe my own be adequate enough for your purposes." She said as-a-matter-of-fact and then trotted off towards her office, not waiting for a response. "This way mister Moia." She said simply, looking back to him, her face not having changed one bit through all of this, but her ice-blue eyes who now analysed the response she would get.

Moia did not respond, trotting into Dr. Placenta's office. He did not look happy at all.

The doctor closed the door after Moia had entered and then walked past him, taking a seat behind her desk, showing no signs of being affected by Moia's apparent displeasure. The constant noises of the experiments and the like that was apparent outside of the office made their presence not knows in the office, it being easy to forget that they even existed at all. After sitting down, her horn lit up and a pair of black glasses floated out of her pocket to be placed on her muzzle. She then too picked up a small stack of papers from her desk, giving them a look over before she looked to Moia again.
"Very well then mister Moia, you wished to discuss something? And please, keep it short. We both have important work to do." She said evenly, her icy eyes giving the impression of seeing through Moia as they gazed at him.

Moia closed the door slowly and gently, looking Dr. Placenta straight in the eyes. he looked rather placid, but gave off a distinct aura of power and malice that would give someone the impression that this was some kind of calm before the storm.
"Dr. Placenta." He began, very quietly and slowly. "You failed to inform me zhat zhis expreiment was taking place. You failed to inform me of zhe security und safety protocols associated vizh it. Und more importantly... Vizhout explanation or hesitation, you took it upon yourself to override one of my commands."
There would be a pause of about five seconds. Just before Placenta could say anything, Moia would strike her about the face with his hoof, his face contorting into a look of purest anger. "How DARE you!" He bellowed, towering over the poor doctor, seeming to radiate pure force. "Know your place, mare! NOPONY in zhis company keeps secrets from me, let alone override MY command vizhout a SCHRED of explanation! Your actions amount to INSUBORDINATION of the highest order! I ought to have you fired und your project terminated und classified Red!!"
For another few seconds, he breathed heavily before, surprisingly, maintaining most of his composure. "But. Zhere is a very good reason vhy I vill not."

The doctor's head was flung a bit to the side by the strike, her glasses falling of and landing on the floor and a mark starting to show where Moia had hit her. Her expression however remained remarkably plain in spite of this, she slowly turning her head to face Moia once more, an icy glare in her ice-like eyes that only held contempt as she looked to the CEO. "...It is good to see that my picture of you Mr. Moia was not wrong." She said coldly, rising from her chair slowly. Moving outside of reach of the crippled stallion. She wouldn't just let him strike her again it seemed. "Now spare me your reasons and let me inform you of this: Every piece of information you might need from this project has been available at your leisure. Do not blame me for your inability to read what has been provided for you. And please, was I to go on a lengthy description of our security procedures in the middle of a contamination breech. Your command was endangering the whole floor, of course I would override it." Her tone of voice remained as it should, but there was a sense of authority in it, like lecturer at a school, speaking to a disruptive student.
"And there are plenty of reasons why you shouldn't, and won't, shut down my project. Of interest to you, this project is supported by our regent. She has shown a personal interest in this project and I doubt that the monetary loses and the disappointment to the queen that would occur would you shut down the project without usable results would be to your liking. And if you'd find it in you to fire me, well, who do you presume would lead this project? Hmm? You know that I am your top geneticist at this facility and you know that there is no pony else here capable of leading a project of this size. Not without seriously impeding on it's progress and certainly lowering the chances of success." She now picked up her glasses, pausing for a moment as she put them back in the pocket in her lab coat from where they had come before returning her icy attention to the CEO. "I hope you'll forgive that your show of "power" doesn't affect me, it is how it is. But know that in spite of how I act, my only concern is to finish this project."

The authority in Placenta's voice did not affect Moia in the slightest. All it did was give him the impression that she had a superiority complex. He sighed and spoke in a clear, but calm voice.
"Firstly. I am a busy pony und do not have zhe time to read every letter zhat is put in front of me. A project of such magnitude and resource intensity zhat it rekvires an entire floor schould be relayed to me vizh a bit more urgency zhan simply being 'made available at my leisure'. Had I been told 'zhere is a project going on zhat is being sponsored by Frau Chrysalis herself und rekvires an entire floor', und zhat new containment procedures had been written for said floor, zhen ve vould not be having zhis conversation. Royal sponsorship or no, all projects of zhis magnitude go szrough the proper channels first." He showed no signs of bursting out.
"Secondly. Zhe overriding of zhe order is excusable considering zhat you are better educated on zhe containent procedures, however. Your attitude vas not. Remember zhat I am zhe CEO of zhis company, not you. You do not boss me around. In spite of your rank in zhe company, you schould not let it get to your head. Szirdly. I vas going to explain zhe reasons but it seems you have already given me zhem. You are my top geneticist und an asset to zhis company. In addition, I personallly believe zhat zhis project has potential, und zhe fact zhat it is supported by Frau Chrysalis reassures me even more so of zhat. I schall zherefore allow it to continue. But." He moved a little closer. "I vant zhe project resubmitted szrough zhe proper channels. You have two veeks to prepare your presentation und properly kvantify zhe resource rekvirements for zhe project. Zhere are several variables vhich have not been considered, und many delicate experiments being performed in zhis building, not to mention zhe paying visitors. If zhese szings are not considered ve risk serious financial loss. I am sure you understand."
He turned to leave the room. "In zhe meantime, keep up zhe good vork und have a nice day. Bis bald."

Before she had chance to leave, she took a step forward, addressing him again. Her voice carried a bit of disdain, but anypony who had talked to her before knew that this was simply how she talked. "Sir" She said, the word sounding a bit weird in her mouth. "I hope you realise that there is a reason why I did not bring this through the "proper" channels." She said simply, pausing for a moment before continuing. "The regent came to us, in particular, to me, in secret for the very purpose of bypassing the official channels. While I suspect you do not care for the social conventions regarding this kind of work, a sentiment I share, there is to consider the public. The queen stressed this point in particular that we keep the projects true nature a secret. So there is not for no reason that I did not bring this work directly to you, there simply was of essence to, as they say "keep face".
She paused for a moment, considering something. "I suppose I can understand from what position you argument from, but the reality is that I simply cannot comply with your request. However, while I can assure you that all manner of situations have been accounted for, both financially and security-wise, I will in two weeks time be... happy, to present to you our results, requirements, etc etc. It simply cannot be through the official channels. I hope you understand."

Moia paused in the doorway, a tinge of irritance now visible on his face as he rolled his eyes. One after another the problems piled up... He turned back to Placenta, sighing.
"Alright... But promise me vone szing. No more secrets. You may be an asset to zhis company but I cannot have szings going on under my nose. Zherein lies zhe potential for confusion und delay, und E.G.O.E.S prides itself on its efficiency. I cannot allow zhis company to go under because of a few mavericks."

The doctor regarded Moia with a cold gaze, as usual for the mare. "You have my word that there will be no cause for confusion or delays as long as I remain the director for this project. We conduct all our business apart from the other projects, so no impeding on their efficiency will be caused there. And I will promise that any "mavericks" will be dealt with accordingly. Anything else would be considered constricting of our efforts here."
She then after giving Moia another glance went to sit down at her desk again, yet again taking out her glasses, which after regarding for a few moments she sighed slightly at, placing them to the side. A crack had been made in the glass after having been knocked away previously. "Have no fear... sir. You will have your rapport. All the project requires from you is your sanction, and it will proceed as smoothly as it can. Both you and the queen will be pleased by the results I imagine." She said, again in a matter of fact tone as she reached towards a drawer, taking out a spare pair of glasses which she placed upon her muzzle. "Was that all... sir?"

"Yes, Frau Doktor. Zhat is all. As you vere."
Moia turned back around once more, leaving the office and walking towards the elevator. He pondered on what he'd seen over the last hour as he did so... He didn't know what this project was exactly, but if it demanded an entire floor then one thing was certain: This was a project of considerable magnitude. From what Dr. Placenta had shown him the implications could be massive... And the financial gains even larger!
Allowing himself a faint smile, he stepped back into the elevator, leaving for his office once more.

The doctor watched Moia leave in her usual cold manner, her eyes remaining on the door for several moments even after he had left. Her face like always was a mask of unfeeling, but her eyes told a different story, at least after Moia had left. A hoof was lifted and gently touched the cheek which he had struck, it making tendrils of pain surge through her. Honestly however, the pain itself meant little to her. Pain hardened you, forged you into something else. No, it was that stallion's audacity that meant something here. "The money-grubbing fool of a stallion. What tragedy that the most important scientific discoveries must be overseen by the likes of him." She thought, her face not revealing anything, even if somepony would have been there to look.
In the end, she only sighed lightly, letting the hoof lie down on the desk instead. A drawer was opened magically and she reached down to take out a few files, opening them and looking over their contents. Her work was the most important. She had wasted enough thoughts on the CEO for now. So she resumed her working, waiting patiently for the report that would soon arrive, detailing why the specimen from before had escaped. She looked forward to it.

The doctor sat her desk for a while, the day passing in usual fashion, speaking to scientists, reading reports, organising the whole thing that was project Harmony. After some time of this, she seemed to have spent enough time in the office of hers, noting that it was time for her to do some actual science. Not that the task of making this operation run smoothly was something she shirked, no, it was simply that with a mind as hers, she couldn't afford to stay out of this and just be an administrator. She was a doctor for a reason.
She so exited her office and trotted through the floor, offering greetings, albeit rather stiff ones, to those she met, showing no signs of where she might be heading. She finally entered a certain lab on the floor, where she was greeted by a number of scientists.
"Ah, Doctor, excellent timing, it is just about time for your meetup with CF-"
"No need to inform me of what I already know." She interrupted, going through the process of disinfecting herself and cleaning hooves. "Any new implications that I should know about?" She said in efficient faction, trotting further into the lab, the scientist following in a bit of a crawling fashion. "Oh, ah, yes, no Doctor. CF-43's development is continuing in a fashion, ah, expected, or rather-" He was interrupted again by a gaze from the doctor, silencing him. "Have a report ready at my office soon. I do not have the time for your lengthy explanations. Get to it." He merely nodded and hurried away at that.
She then stood before the room, or rather cell more like it, before her. The door that served as the rooms only entrance was heavy and locked, it being a nigh impossibility to force it open with normal means. It was that and a for the moment covered up window that served as the only connections it had with the rest of the lab. The doctor thought for a few moments, still, before lifting her hoof and placing it on a scanner, it flashing a little as it took a print. With a quiet swoosh the door slid open, and the doctor entered the room, the door swiftly closing behind her. The room on the inside was almost all a pristine white, it giving off the vibe of the mattress room one might find in a psychological institution, minus the actual mattresses in this case. She cleared her throat for a moment before calling out. "Amy?"

Even before any answer would come from the subject inside the cell, there was a tiny gasp and big eyes peeked over the edge of the single bed that was placed towards a corner of the room. The Doctor would be able to see her own reflection over a hundret times in each little part of the two eyes as they stared at her for a few seconds, not even blinking once. After a few more seconds, realisation hit the owner of those eyes and from behind the bed would crawl out a somewhat mishapen creature that had a striking resemblance to a changeling, if it wasn't for the purple mane and tail the changeling had and the strangely big eyes that focused on the pony in the room.
"Mommy!" The changeling smiled, her two fangs showing at the corner of her mouth, one sticking out a lot longer than the other as she made her way towards the pony, the smile only growing the longer she looked at the pony in front of her. After all, Mommy finally decided to visit her for the day so that meant spending time with her, which was always fun in Amethysts mind.
The room was mostly empty, the only furniture being the bed in the corner of the room, a simple chair that was forced into position by heavy bolts so it couldn't be moved or used as a weapon, a metal table next to the chair, also fixed into the ground with bolts, and, if one would consider such a thing as furniture, a pair of shackles hanging from the wall whenever Amy had to be chained to the wall.
"L-Look what I made Mommy!" Amethyst excitedly pointed towards the metal table on the opposite side of the room, a few papers lying around and on the table. Most of them looked like they were pretty new and some even had experiments or other things printed on them, making it obvious that she was able to take these from the doctors that visited her. But she couldn't read any of them anyway as they had too many complex and difficult words for her young mind so she instead used them for drawing. Every drawing was made in a sickly green color and some were smeared a lot more than the others. Strangely enough, she never had any drawing materials like pens or paint so these must have been made from something else to give them some color.

The doctors outlook did not change much, but the fact was that it changed a little, even if it would be very hard to spot the difference. But it did grow slightly softer as she looked upon the ex-changeling in front of her, though she still remained quite stern in expression. "Yes, hello Amy." She said simply, not reacting much it seemed to being called mom and making no moves to try and stop her. Not like such actions hadn't been tried before. The attempts had been many to try and stop the subject from using those words, but they had proved fruitless. The conclusion at this point was that changeling had an ease to "imprint" on whoever is close to them at birth, like ducks and other animals do, and that Amy, grown in this very floor, had done just such towards the doctor. It might also be a side-effect of the experimenting, but it was hard to conclude at this point.
The doctor raised an eyebrow as her attention was directed to the papers, she walking up to the small table and picking one up with her magic. "Hm. I see." Clearly some form of childish expression. Though her choice in both what to write on or with required some attention. "Say, what is it you have used to draw this with?" She asked, not looking at Amy as her gaze was still on the drawing in front of her.

"There wasn't anything around to color it and you get disappointed if I take other ponies for my drawings so...I used myself! I had to use myself a lot because I ran out of color so quickly everytime!" Still with her sweet smile, she pointed under the table where a few seemingly cut off hooves lay around, some of them very shrivled, some of them still kinda fresh, the newest one still dropping a little thick, green blood out of the end. It was the same color as the papers were drawn on with.
As usual whenever she used her special skills to grow new limbs, all the quickly generated body parts would shrivle up and fall off of her within minutes after she wasn't needing them anymore but it was hard to tell how many there actually were piled up under the table. It was at least 7, 12 at most but somepony would have to count to exactly say how many hooves she grew simply for the plan of using the blood inside them for drawing.
Many ponies would be disturbed by that alone but Amethyst didn't care at all. She hoped her drawings would make Mommy proud and maybe she would even take some of them to keep them for herself, by that showing they were good and that she liked them. "I took the papers from the bad doctor's when they tried to put needles in me. They wanted it back but were also afraid of me." Giggling to herself at the memory, she looked at the Doctor again with anticipation what she would say.

The doctor raised an eyebrow as she was directed to the, for a normal pony, quite disturbing "crayons". To the doctor it was more than anything just fascinating. A curious habit. It was marvellous how unfazed Amy remained in spite of loss of limbs, even if her state of mind was unfortunate, there was much too learn about the abilities themselves. "Yes. Very well done Amy." She said, a bit stiffly perhaps. "Though I have told you that you need to obey the doctors even when I am not in presence haven' I? Their work is very important." She added, giving a stern look to the filly-like (if in mind if not in body) creature, though it was maybe not quite as stern as what she might give to somepony else.
A few eccentricities like this would have to be tolerated for the sake of the potential she possessed, reasoned the doctor.

"But some of them are so mean to me Mommy! They say I'm a monster and ugly!" She had smiled at first at hearing her "mothers" praise but soon after started to pout as she was recieving the scolding from the mare in front of her. Every other pony would have already gotten a mean stare and perhaps a quick stab somewhere on their body thans to Amy's unstable mind but never in her life had she laid a hoof on Placenta in any harmful way. Even if she had a breakdown and attacked anypony around her, Placenta would be the last pony she would are to hurt. Even her extreme loyalty training to the queen wasn't enough to place Crysalis on a higher importance level than Doctor Placenta for Amy.
So instead of acting out, she backed away a little, tugging her tail between her rear legs like a beaten dog and pouted, not daring to look at the mare and instead focusing on the clean, white ground in front of her, knowing that she would get punished if she was to speak out against the doctor

Ah, such an emotional response. But maybe this is how you were supposed to react when you were that age, at least mentally. The doctor never was too sure herself, considering this behaviour was not the one she had acted herself when she was that age, at least to her knowledge (which was quite good). "Hmm, maybe, and I agree, it is a distasteful behaviour of theirs." If this kept on, she might have to switch them out. She could stand these ponies who claimed to be scientists but couldn't act the part and be objective.
"But it is one you will have to endure Amy. You are a fascinating thing scientifically, which is its own form of beauty, as somepony artistically or philosophically inclined might say. Within you, lies the path to the future. That is why this things must be done, you see?" She said simply. This was in the doctors mind very much a compliment... even if it were a strange one to anypony else.

"I know Mommy...I promise I'll behave more in the future." She got quiet after that, but her smile suddenly appeared again as soon as she looked up at Placenta, her eyes focusing on the mare's own while she waited in place, her head slowly tilting to the side more and more while she grew more curious, her body language easily showing that she was interested in what the Doctor would have in store for her today. After a few more seconds, her wings buzzed in a low hum and she took a step closer, one fang poking out beneath her lip again.
"What are we going to do today Mommy? Can I come with you? Please please please?"

The Doctor nodded lightly at that, wanting to hear nothing else but the assurance of obedience. How well Amy would follow up on her promise though remained to be seen, as she was still a bit of a rogue element. Oh well, a necessary sacrifice. She then remained quiet as the subjects expression changed slowly, her own icy eyes looking back at the faceted ones of Amethyst. Excitement seemed to be the case here.
"Ah yes, and no worries, we need not move far for today." From within her labcoat the unicorn brought out a toy. It was one of those foal "puzzles" where one matched holes with the shapes that fit in them. This one was a bit larger than the average one, with the added addition of that it had a time limit. A button was pressed at the start and all the shapes had to be fitted before a small amount time when all of the shapes that had been put in were pushed back out. She placed this on the floor in front of Amy. "I will simply need you to play with this for while. Or rather, whenever you want, though I would wish to see you try it under my own observation." She said factually. Toys like this helped foals' minds grow, and that was certainly in need for Amy. Not that it would help immediately but one took help where one got it.

She was at first a little confused at the weird thing in front of her, poking it with a hoof to see how it would react. A...toy? It had been a long time since she really had an actual toy instead of what she had created for herself with her skills or what she had stolen from the Doctors without permission. But if her mother wanted her to play with this, then surely she would try. Sitting down, she rubbed her hooves together in a comical fashion and tried to make reason of the shapes in front of her, which shapes were supposted to go in which holes. After a few seconds, she suddenly pushed the button and tried to fit all the shapes into the holes in the given time limit.
She did try her hardest but with her mind not being her special element, she did not manage to finish the game within the time limit, the filly/changeling creature getting a little annoyed by the ding that would mean that she had lost the game. Without waiting, she started it once more and after another failure, she did it again and again, everytime failing by a few seconds, her mood definitely shifting as quickly as her unstable mind suggested it would "This is...stupid! Why am I supposted to play with this!"

The doctor took a step back as she began to interact with the toy, quietly but intently noting her every move with her mind. Her understanding of what was required of her here was good to see, proof that while her mind was childish, it was still not nonexistent. This problem, her mental liabilities versus her physical gains was the focal point of the research being done to her. If they could retain her her physical abilities without sacrificing her mental fortitude... But alas. They were unlikely to improve on it now at least, so what they could do right was to record her abilities so far. Even her mental ones.
When she exclaimed at her unsuccessful attempt, a variable already accounted for, the doctor simply nodded a little. "It is a test of your cognitive functions of course. To see how you fare mentally, as we already have a good grasp on your physical capabilities... even if you are constantly introducing us to new abilities." She said, neither disapprovingly nor encouragingly.

Her eyes still focused on the toy after he latest attempt that ended in a failure, she let out a little whine of sadness before she went completely silent for a second. Why was this so hard?! It had no reason to be this hard and unfair! Her legs just weren't fast enough. While grabbing one piece, she had to also hold some more and it was all too complicated for her. This was so mean!
While the mare/changeling slowlyy worked herself into a real fit of anger, a few cracking sounds came from her body, the skin and flesh visibly moving, bulging out grotesquely on a few spots before a way louder cracking sound emerged, two extra legs forcing their way out of her chiting plated body right underneath her first pair on her upper body. A few drops of the sickly green changeling blood dripped out of the freshly made holes for the extra legs while Amethyst panted from the exhaustion that a transformation like this brought with her.
Without waiting and waisting more energy, she smashed the timer button on the toy nearly hard enough to break it in her rage and began to start the whole game all over again, now with her extra set of legs clearly faster than before. While two legs worked on picking the pieces up, the other two smashes already sorted pieces into the toy, her movements almost spiderlike in their nature. This time, she did managed to "win" at the game with the two, placing all the pieces where they belonged before the time was over. Still panting softly, her head snapped upwards to look at the Doctor, now looking a lot more like a monster again with her 6 legs and almost bulging eyes "I did it!"

If the doctor was surprised by this action, she did little to show this besides a raise of her eyebrow by the slightest. An interesting development to be sure. Instead of using her mind to solve the problem at hoof, she brute-forced it, bypassing her "lack" of limbs by making new ones. Her movement was quite interesting too, showing good motor control in spite of the legs being new ones. If she was appalled by her appearance, there was no show for it, which was fitting since she felt no such thing.
She nodded slightly at her. "Well done Amy, fascinating technique you have." She said in what might, generously, be conceived as a kind of compliment, the closest one might get from her at least.

A soft squeal left the filly minded changeling as she took the compliment as something that nopony in the whole could give her just like the Doctor. A compliment from her mother was always...world shattering for her. But in a good way. Amethyst knew she did good when her mother was pleased and no matter how hard she would need to work for it, a compliment was more than any other prize she could get for completing a task or mission.
Still with her two new extra limbs, she hopped up from her position on the ground and smiled like a foal on heart's warming day, staring at Placenta with satisfaction and happy emotions very obvious thanks to her wings that had started to buzz like the ones of an insect would in flight. "Thank you Mommy! But the game is still mean!"

The mare gave her a stare that was maybe a bit too neutral to be called an approving one, but again, it was softer and more approving that most other looks she gave out to, well, anypony (or anything for that matter) else. Well this result surely seemed to please the "filly" it seemed. Or rather the praise she got from it maybe.
"Technically speaking it is just a game, and therefor incapable of any ill intent like you describe it. However I can see the frustration that might arise from failing to defeat a problem, so yes, I suppose I can understand why it is still "mean" in your eyes." She said, again in some form of agreement with Amethyst.

"But now I'm bored again...can we do something else Mommy? Can we go somewhere else? I haven't been out of my room since the last test in one of those big, white test rooms! And you know I behave like really good! Can we go? Please Mommy!" She actually stepped towards the mare and put on a pleading expression, her lips curled into a soft pout while she was making a begging gesture with her forelegs. All four of them at the same time. She really, really wanted to see more of the world. And for all Amy knew, the whole world was just a building like this.
Having never been outside, she had no knowledge of actual trees, dirt or the sun or other "normal" thing. Of course she knew all of those existed but she never even once left the facility so she only learned from pictures, magical projections or stories she heard of all those things. She always wanted to leave the building and go outside but, being the good filly she had always been, she never actually broke out, even when she had the chance because her mother would never approve of her not behaving to what the orders were.

The mare seemed to consider this notion Amethyst proposed for a few moments. The pleading itself did little to affect the mare, she had long been immune to such ways of coercion, what she instead considered was what could be gained from such a venture. It was true that more testing needed to be done on Amethyst herself. They were however starting to approach the limit where the controlled testing might need some... change. They were yet to make field tests... and there was also the question of producing results for the queen, amongst others.
So after her consideration, she looked to the test subject. "There won't be any excursions of that kind Amy. However, if you'll be patient and obey what you're told, I do not think it to be outside the realm of possibility that we might do some kind of field test. An, ah, expedition if you wish." Of course, the fact she proposed that Amy would need to be obedient for this to be happen was a lie of sorts, no matter her behaviour, a demonstration would happen. It could however prove to be an excellent "carrot" for her so she might behave more.
