Long Shadow Forest
Located at the base of the Smoky Mountains, this dense forest made up of mostly evergreen pines houses dark paths that rarely see light. A pony refugee would be well covered inside this tightly packed in forest, however, it also offers many places for predators or enemies to hide.
Refugees are cautioned to stick to areas of the forest that have been roughly mapped out and made familiar within the camp. However, resources in these areas have becomes stripped, and every new day it becomes increasingly necessary to explore more and more areas.
Unique Area Resources:
Mushrooms - food
Wild pumpkins - food
wild alfalfa - food
Moss - bedding and used as a scrubber for bathing and cavern cleaning
Cedar & redwood wood - Lumber for larger cave construction and weaponry
