Name: Legion Voice. (Name originated by River Road), Birth name: L.
Age: Unknown. (In the Early 30's if he had to guess.)
Gender: Stallion.
Species: Changeling.
Place of Birth: Lair of Pods.
Occupation: Once: Changeling to Pony language translator. Now: Leader of the Queen's and Nightmare's special ops force.
Allegiance: To the Queen('s) And King Sombra.
Relationship Status: Single.
Mane: None in his changeling mode, However in pony mode, his normal mane is a light grey with an undercoated darker shade for a twist. Same with his tail.
Eyes: A bright baby blue color.
Living Relatives: The Queen. (His mother), The hive. (Brothers and Sisters)
General Description: Born with the original black chitted skin and obvious sharp fangs draping from his mouth, Legion's appearance can be overwhelming to the average ponies yet to his Queen, the bug is just another look alike from the bunch. In his pony mode, in which he does a lot of his work in, Legion's coat color is a dark grey, his pretend cutie mark being that of two speech bubbles as his uncombed mane keeps to his head. In his changeling form however, a plain buckle collar exists over his neck, for reasons he wishes to keep secret.
Skills: Great at language skills, his once hissing like demeanor with words has now dwindled to full sentences as he practices a different accent each and every day to correct his flaws. Trained well in martial arts, his ways of fighting are in no way connected to any book. Dirty and to the point, Legion Voice uses his shape shifting abilities to throw body weight around when and if needed. While his magic is base level with a normal talented unicorn's, he has become rather amused with a dark spell he had been working on with Nightmare Moon. A mind erasing spell in short terms, however not permanent for those useful magic dwellers who know what it is they are doing. Legion is all about obedience, and with that, comes great leadership skills to add.
Faults: Not very good at flying, it is not often you can see this bug out flying anyone in a chance. Because of his lacking of speed at flight, Legion often uses more powers then not trying to teleport or run towards a destination when energy is always needed to spare. Conflicted in his emotions, throughout the years of wondering on his life decisions has left the changeling feeling heartless and cold in his lead, often leading to unneeded deaths to those who catch him on an off day. Terrible at thinking fast when it involves magic, because his reflexes at fighting and shifting can be fast, shooting out any type of actual blast can be like waiting for the sun to warm up. No matter how hard he tries, he is still, only just a normal changeling with some heavy duty training by Nightmare on the side.
Equipment: Carrying with him not much but three Smoke bombs and a curved hook like blade strapped and hidden for useful circumstances, Legion depends on his words and helpers to get the job done.
History:
Born in a rather large hive of siblings, Legion Voice had barely been noticed by his mother from the time of birth. Training training training had been the protocol since his hooves first began to move. Every day there would be brutal training, every hour there would be magical barriers to pass. With each passing second working their physical physique, It seemed like sleep would never fully come. But why did he continue to work so hard? Why was it that every time he saw her face, his heart would pound, his eyes would brighten and he would wear the biggest smile on his face. There was something about their leader and mother that entranced him, that made him continue to push until he was the best that he could be. Sneaking away at night as a youngin to the bug Queen's small book collection and forcing himself to read what he could, the letters themselves never seemed to make sense and yet he continued to try. Until the one night he was caught. It was late, real late when the little changeling had his horn lit dim, looking through any stories he could to try and impress when his ear's heard hoof steps. Twirling around and realizing it was too late, his big light blue eyes locked with those of a vibrant green. Drooping his ears and cowering to the floor completely, Legion closed his eyes in a flinching motion when all he heard was a small warm chuckle. Peaking an eye open and noticing his Queen picking up the book he had tried to read, Chrysalis had sat down as her long arms pulled her small son closer as she hugged him from behind, still holding the book.
It may not make sense to those outside of the hoard, but getting any affection from the Queen is a rare delicacy, and one not to be taken lightly. Embracing her love and snuggling his back up against her chitted skin, Legion found himself to be the luckiest bug alive, smiling like a fool as his blood rushed to his cheeks in an instant. When Chrysalis finally did speak, her words were soft and inviting as her hooves flipped through the ancient book of their race and pony, telling how the war first started and how the species had but almost went extinct. Pleased with his willingness to learn more of the outside world, the Queen found herself growing rather fond of their night together when eventually, it started to have follow ups. It was during one of their special bonding nights that Legion had finally spoken his first pony written word. "Love." Widened eyes greeted his speech with an interesting cocked brow, leaving the Queen rather surprised and royally proud that her race had actually been evolving from their once rabid and all animal like state. Rejoicing and allowing the young changeling a chance to stand at her side, Legion could barely speak at her offer let alone say yes as his facial structure said it for him. Not being every day a younger changeling advances to the front lines, the smart bug like creature continued to learn more as time went on. Using it to his advantage, the Queen and her subjects had grown accustom to winning their battles through trickery and disguise, until the wedding occurred.
Failing to successfully take over, Legion had beaten himself up over the whole mess as his brothern told him stories of how the colorful princess and her mate took down the beloved Queen. Unable to be there himself as Chrysalis had a different mission in mind for his brain, the bug worked hard up until the news of defeat when they all came crawling back home. Running up to his mother and expecting a hug full of emotions, Legion's heart had nearly broke that night when all his leader had done was sideways glare. Eventually the nights and days seemed to blur together as the changelings had to start all over, but he didn't mind.. all he could think about was why she looked so hurt. Never wanting to see his mother and Queen saddened by anything that drastic ever again, the brave and speech smart bug made a pact to always be there for her when she needed him with no exception. And from then on, the family only seemed to grow. Eggs after eggs were being produced as their species started to rise to new levels of overpopulation. Smiling a toothy grin to his proud mother, their rein seemed to only have begun. Over the years after becoming full grown, the bug like changeling's vocabulary seems to better each day. Having more freedom to do things then the rest, Legion likes to spend his time traveling and hoping one day to meet a pony that looks at whats inside instead of his rough outer.
TD and 5 years.
Working through the years as just another ordinary changeling, Legion Voice had blended in like no other. Changing into ponies left and right for the Queen's ruling and lead, taking down those unwanted by her words, Legion assumed he was doing everything right. Finding out his ability to speak with others in languages other then his own through studying, his skills were the Queen's precious assets alone. That was, until Nightmare Moon came into his life. Before her, life with his mother was easy. She ordered him to do something, and he just did it, no questions asked. Trapping ponies and holding them until otherwise told to, his loyalty to her was undeniable. He would betray them all, for her.
Getting assigned to locate where Nightmare Moon is, the off put changeling was never certain as to why they needed her to begin with. But still, doing as he was directed, the stallion transformed into his persona for this dark and dangerous mission as always. Coming face to face with the dark and alluring Nightmare Moon in the mist of her own creepy hide away, Legion Voice had tried to seal the deal with the mare of darkness as per requested.
Not going well however, the stallion tried to back up as he reinstated her initial plan of action. Slightly fearful and getting nothing but grins from her side, the time for running was a must. Continuing to try and hiss and fight back at her verbal and physical attacks, it didn't take long for the changeling to fall prey to her manipulating ways of power. Going through Nightmare's torture tactics as a way of breaking him, with the suffering involved, the long term loss of air had begun to feel unbearable.
Eventually caving to her whims from the pain and mental abuse he had been enduring through the hours, the changeling stallion had succumb to her evil plans, turning into her own slave in the process. Doing her bidding's for his own life and learning the ways of a villain far worse then he had ever known, his mental and physical state had definitely gone up as his practicing and missions for her needs had begun to grow in difficulty. As the war went on, Legion and his devotion for his once loving mother had never been the same again. Never hearing from her and starting to obey the mare of darkness with little to no complaints, helping lead strong in their own version of the army. Fighting forward and blowing past others as they were blasted against the forces, his leadership skills had begun to advance farther then even others even realized.
As the war ended with their victory, Legion passed by his Queen with little to no interest. he had been robotized into this army, and now he was as heartless as the best of them, and it was all thanks to her, the Nightmare that lead him down the path he needed to be strong. Getting a reward from all of this, Legion Voice was given a small bundle of troops to move and lead from all of this. Considered the Sp Troops, his job as leader is to make sure, with every order given by the leaders, they do as command. With a few special members in this group, his main goal, is to bring in those who disobey and dishonor the new rules of Equestria. So now they travel, with him as their lead and a check up with Nightmare as their hunt for runners never ceases to end. Casually checking each and every town for the likes of those unwilling to give themselves up to the new leaders, Legion and his soldiers aim to bring each and every one in.
