[Enter Moon from Genesee's Quarters]
As he returned from his trip to Genesee's "room", Moon carefully navigated through the crowd and back to the dragon and the group that were with him. Floating in front of him was the notebook, now open as he quickly scanned it for any relevant information. He frowned slightly at what he read, or rather, at how little there was to read. From what he saw, the dragon hadn't talked too much about his past, though that he had been imprisoned and tortured had been rather safely guessed. "Maybe his shouts about Sombra weren't just illusions on his part..." He pondered as he looked up, pausing slightly as he came back in time to see the dragon in question break off from a hug with Trixie.
He quickly repressed (or tried to as best he could more rather) the feelings of protectiveness that sprung in him as he saw that, and instead approached Genesee, however keeping a close eye on the two. "So... did I ah, miss anything?" He asked the leader as he came close enough, not whispering but at least keeping his voice a bit low.

Genesee clicked eyes with Moon and shook his head. "No it... uh.... looks like things are getting better, at least a bit." He nodded to the book in the medical pony's hooves. "Anything of use in there?"

Deuterium, inside Pandy's head, was somewhat surprised Moon hadn't tried to Drag Pandy back to bed, given his attitude towards Deut earlier. Come to think, Deut was getting a bit concerned himself as to what may happen to his body when he switched back...

Forte entered from the same area that Moon had come from, but upon seeing Moon and Genesee, he paused, pretended to smack his forehead like he had forgotten something, turned, and left.

Moon felt a little twinge of disappointment at the question, as he realized that the information he had here was not that decisive to help pinpoint exactly what was wrong with the dragon. So he bowed his head just slightly in shame as he let the notebook float over to the camp leader, open on the page where he had found the notes on Archiemedes. "Eh, nothing decisive I'm afraid... But I, eh, think I can wager a guess that it stems from some sort of traumatic experience... Torture, both mental and physical, I think." He says, again in a low tone to keep it discreet.
He then can't help but turn to look at Archiemedes and Trixie again, feeling (and seeming) worrisome. "And he, ah, I mean, it doesn't seem like it but, uhm, he hasn't hurt her has he?" He asks carefully, his concern rather obvious.

Trixie looked back into Archie's eyes sharing a pained expression. It hurt seeing him like this, but she loved him. He was her first friend after all and she would risk pretty much anything for him. She flashed him a smile and spoke softly. "Go back to the Doctors Quarters Archie, I'll be back in there shortly and Moon can look after you"

Archimedes didn't say anything, but rose from the ground slowly and walked over to Genesee and Moon. His demeanor was calm, but he looked hollow, worn. "I need to tell you something," he said matter of factly. "I haven't hurt anypony, thankfully," he said sincerely to Moon. He then turned back to Genesee. "If this truly is the real world, I'm afraid I've broken the rules quite a bit, and I apologize. There are a number of books that should be returned to the keepsake cavern that have gone 'missing' in the past months. They're outside, hidden in certain places. I was trying to find something I could use to bring back one of the sisters on the off chance this wasn't an illusion. I feel no need to keep that secret anymore." He sighed, looking a little happier from the release of the burden. "I...can't succeed. I found nothing solid, in all my searching. Maybe a few potentials, but those artifacts are either already recovered and now kept by our enemy or in different planes of existence, namely Tartarus."
"I would like permission to assemble a team to recover more lore after..." -he swayed slightly- "after I get some rest. Moon, I need something to help me sleep, if you've got it. I couldn't keep my eyes closed for more than twenty minutes with the knowledge I actually killed my best friend." He bore no emotion, but fresh tears started to leak down his face. "Oh, there it is..." He said and crumpled into the floor, laying in a fetal position.

Genesee was about to answer Moon when Archie approached. He waited for the dragon to speak his mind.
Surprised by Archimedes confession and request, the old camp leader felt rather torn. He wanted to give Archie the benefit of doubt, but his behavior had been out of control and could have killed somepony. With a sigh, he spoke to Archie, "Archimedes, you need to get better control of yourself before I allow you to even think of leaving the camp right now. Its for your safety as well as all campers. You need to fully realize what's real and what isnt. Because Archie, our camp is a secret, and that is a very real fact. If it were ever to slip out.... no one would be safe. No one would have anywhere to go. Including you. You need to be confident in where you stand and who you stand with, and until you can tell me honestly that you feel of sound mind, I want you to simply focus on getting better with Moon's help for a few weeks. We can discuss your request again once you've fully recovered..."

Moon shrunk a little before the dragon, as he hadn't meant for him to hear what he had just said, and he listened to him cautiously. The revelation of where the books had been however was something he had not suspected, and it certainly send him some relief to finally know where they had gone (though he couldn't help but send a thought to the poor books and where they were kept. Being in a cave was bad enough, he could only hope their time outside had caused as little damage as possible). His next suggestion was not as relieving to hear. Moon was glad that Genesee was there then, as he had proven to be much better when it came to saying the right things than the would-be-doctor.
He nodded slightly in agreement at the leader when he was done, before turning to look back at the dragon. He only hoped he could be able to fix this... hopefully these mental wounds would heal in time... and without any more chances at death. He shivered a little as he thought back to what had almost happened just now... he didn't want to see more death. Not in this place.

(Sorry for the wait, i was thinking it wasnt my turn XD.)
Archimedes nodded in his huddled position. It was all he could do not to lose himself completely. Finally, he hefted himself off the ground and walked towards the medical grotto, giving Trixie one last long look. "I'm not worthy of your love," he said quietly and hung his head as he moved into the medical grotto.

Inside Pandy's head, Deut thought it would be a good time to take over again.
"OK Pandy, can I have my body back now?" "Already? Sucks, I didn't get to do much." "I'm worried about what's already been done to this body from you being out while I'm in this state." Pandy sighed, knowing that Deut was, unfortunately, very correct. Neither of them knew what switching control whilst Deut was ill would actually do, and while it didn't seem to hinder Pandy much, Deut was another story. The other personality closed his eyes, letting the body's original owner come back in.
Deut opened his eyes, which had now returned to their original coloration and looked around. He didn't feel that much different from before...

Genesee sighed as the dragon left their presence and turned to Moonlight. "I hope you don't mind that I've put him under your care. Being in the medical grotto will help him keep focused on getting better. I don't want him returning to normal camp life without having a good long period to think and reconnect. Think you can take him on?"

The healer looked after the dragon as he went back to the medical grotto with a sigh. It was never easy to see ponies, or dragons for that matter, like this... broken and hopeless. He then turned to the camp leader as he addressed him, nodding solemnly. "I'll ah, do my best sir." He says, simply and seriously, not knowing what else there were to say. "Let's just hope that my best is good enough..." He thinks to himself dourly and was glad for the slight distraction that was Trixie. He carefully nuzzled her back, both trying to provide, as well as take some comfort from being close like this again. He couldn't imagine how this had to be for her... "Don't worry love, we'll figure something out." He says quietly to her, almost whispering.

Genesee nodded to Moonlight's response and watched the two ponies share an intimate moment. Part of him missed such closeness that he had once known with a mare, but the other half knew the baggage that had come with it. Would he have done it all over again though? Fall in love with a mare like that?... like her?.... well... maybe it had been worth the broken heart he had endured for moments like what he now saw before him.
With a shake of his fur, he stood and began to head towards the back of the cave. Dipping his head to the couple, Deuterium, and other ponies around that had slowly gone back to their daily routines, the camp leader felt tired after all the excitement. Deciding to retire to his chambers for the beginning of the afternoon, maybe he could find some quiet time to think before the events of the evening started. They had a new pony to welcome after all~

Trixie sighs and just nuzzles Moon more. She didn't miss the emotional tug on her heart from being around others that was for sure. She looked to Moon and smiled a bit when he called her 'love'.

Deut seemed to be alright for a second, but this proved to be an erroneous assumption a few seconds later, when his legs began wobbling once more and the poor Unicorn keeled over sideways, letting out a muffled "Ack!" as he did so, hitting the floor with a loud thud.
"Oops..." came the voice of Pandy in his head. "I... guess that switching was a bad idea." "I knew it. I totally knew it." was the weakened Unicorn's reply before he vomited for the second time in an hour, a fluid comprising mostly of stomache acids ejecting itself from his mouth once again. The Unicorn gagged as he spat out the remains of the foul-tasting fluid, trying to scramble away from it slightly. "For the record, I'm sorry about this..." Pandy spoke again, causing Deuterium's migraine to flare up twice as hard as before. "Just... shut it!" Deut whisper-snapped in return. "OK, ok, migraine, I get it..." Pandy replied with just a hint of the understanding he actually felt.

He smiled back at Trixie at that, again just glad to think that she was there with him again. "Well, I have a room in the sleeping quarters so we can probably make some room there. Actually, I should give you a tour of the camp now that I think about it..." He says to her before he notices how Deut fell down, a concerned look emerging on him again. "... after I'm done on my end it seems." He says, flashing her a tired smile before he rushed over to the downed unicorn, very carefully helping him up while trying to stay clear of the foul-smelling vomit.
"Easy, easy." Moon says calmly to him as Deut muttered on. "Let's get you somewhere quieter." He says half-carries Deut back to the medical grotto, giving Trixie a quick look that asked her come with.

[Enter Pumpkin Vine]
Upon reentering the gathering nook and quarters, the amazonian mare had taken this chance to sit down. He wasnt in his office, nor was he in the hallways leading to this nook. Deciding he was most likely busy, she would try again for him when the time was right. Who knows, maybe they'd run into him first, now that would be humorous. Drifting back to the young mare and her troubles, it seemed almost like yesterday she was that very same pony, stressed at the pressures of a new world. Coming from a family that had no need for the weak and hesitant, bravery and honor was brought to her attention early on in life.
'In my dreams, I'll see you again..'
Shaking her head after a brief mental talk with her subconscious, Pumpkin realized she was having more emotions now then she ever had as a leader. Deciding to leave the past where it belonged, the mare shook herself off. Their leader may not be a mare nor an amazon, but he was a kind and wise soul in need of followers. Remembering the first time they met, he had saved her life in the end. Perhaps to him, he was merely doing a good deed by allowing her to stay, but to her and her way, her duty and soul purpose was to ensure his vision went unharmed.
"I wonder how that dragon is doing... Hm."

A commotion had broken out not far away from where Pumpkin waited. A foreign zebra refugee and his family, members of the camp for about 2 weeks now, were standing off to the side of the entrance, cornered off by camp enforcers that were refusing to let them leave the area. One stallion had taken one of the young zebra's saddle bags and was riffling through it as the older male zebra yelled back angrily in a language little in camp would recognize. Ponies looked about as the blaring voice echoed loudly through the commons, some went towards the scene while many others moved out of the way to another part of the camp to not get involved.
A loud rip cracked through the yells as one of the enforcers accidently pried part of the bag open too far, tearing the seam raggedly on one end. It was enough to send the old Zebra over the edge. He tackled the nearest pony and produced a stone cutting knife that soon had the struggling pony in his hooves frozen in terror. The mother zebra held her two foals close as they looked on with wide eyes.
One heather colored pegasi from the group of enforcers quickly held up her hooves and waved them, "Wait! Stop! just... just hang on for one bucking minute and don't MOVE! I'll be right back!" She took off from the group and headed out of the Commons. The others did as they were told as the male zebra glared down at the pony he had in his grasp, but seemed to get the message to hault.

Minding her own business in the gathering nook, the trainer and well adjusted mare had watched with curious and wandering eyes to the scene before her. Knowing little of Zebra's and their ways of life, her initial plan had been to greet them, that was until officers decided it had been a good idea to go through their stuff. While Pumpkin agreed every item needed to be checked for safety reasons, doing so in such a way was not called for.
"Lets give this a whirl." Standing up and approaching the scene slowly, the older mare had held out a hoof as if to say she meant no harm. While she had the ability to kick him off of his stripped hooves, doing so irrationally was only going to make the scene worse. Studying the creature with curious burnt colored eyes, Pumpkin Vine had not been used to dealing with those in another language.
"Back. Move back." Looking to the officer that had accidentally ripped the young ones bag open, the light tan colored mare had shaken her head as if to shame their actions. "Does a little thing like protocol mean anything to you?" Not letting her guard down for a moment on the zebra's however, her attention quickly returned, her hooves ready to make the first move if need be. There was somepony getting help, that's all she could ask for. Locking eyes and keeping the stare on a serious level, she waited for a response.

With Pumpkin's extended hoof of peace a global sign, the male Zebra looked up to her with hopeless frustration in his eyes before he loosened his grasp on the pony and let the knife fall to his side. The hostage quickly slinked fearfully back to his group where the other's looked on with discontent for the Zebra. In their minds, they had simply been following procedure all along and his uncalled for attack was far out of line, none except for the pony who had been in the Zebra's hooves had shrunk from Pumpkin's scolding glare.
The old Zebra got to his hooves and beat one forehoof at the ground. Still very upset, his nostrils flared as he angrily chattered on in his foreign tongue, trying to tell Pumpkin something important that seemed like quite a long story. The Zebra's gaze became less enraged and more of worry as he shot a glance back to his family. The mother Zebra hugged her foals tight and stared at the ground in submission. Their culture was not one to be confrontational, valuing peace above many other races but often times was looked at with fear of their unknown customs by the ponies of Equestria. It was well known Zebras often met discrimination from ignorance, this fact would not be lost to Pumpkin.

Blinking with more confusion then before, the rage and clear upset expressions from this herd had caused Pumpkin to freeze. Unsure how to handle things from here, it was rather difficult to express the rules of the camp to creatures that could not speak their language as it was. Personally glad that her own tribe knew the common language as their first, Pumpkin's thick accent was indication that she too came here from far away. Not quite as far as these zebra's however, attention had turned to her. Letting down her strong gaze on what looked to be the leader of their family, her expression lighted up.
Not making any sudden movements, the pressure of being a defensive trainer and not being able to handle this scene was starting to get to the amazon despite her courage. Hoping that useful help would arrive soon, Pumpkin had not spoken a word to the rare being, instead she looked to the crowd. "Move along ponies, you've seen enough. Everything is fine." /'Bloody help better come.'\ Her mental process spoke her truth, despite her physical appearance seeming calm and collected.

Hurrying as quickly as he could, without minding the comfort of his passenger, he darted into the common quarters. It only took him a secondition to notice the commotion, and a half second more to pick up on the source.
He slowed and nudged his way through the crowd, being careful not to step on anypony. Finally, he caught up with Pumpkin and set Deut down on his hooves remorselessly. "Hey Amazon," he greeted her simply.

Deut chewed as hard as he could on the bark in his mouth, but it didn't seem to be helping as the dragon bounced him up and down and set him back down on his weak limbs... His legs shook like jelly as he chewed feverishly on the bark ion his mouth, hoping to get rid of this migraine so he could think.

[Enter Dove Twine from Medical Grotto]
Dove twine quickly rushed them over to the area the confrontation had started, praying nothing more had occured. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her comrade was no longer under the Zebra's enraged hooves. She quickly trotted to Deut as the dragon set him down to his hooves and began to urge him on towards the male zebra. "This way Deut, we just need you to help us understand what this Zebra is saying and help us explain to him why we need to search all bags as they come in and out of the camp."
The Zebra stood tall and proud before them, his brows furrowed still from the frustration before as he took in what was going on as the guard brought forth another pony. Deut would not have spoken to this Zebra family yet, as they were still very new to the camp, but he may have known of their arrival at least when they initially came to dwell in the refuge.
Dove Twine made a gesture to Deut and tried to encourage with her body language for the Zebra to go on with what he had spoke about before. Slowly beginning to understand, the Zebra hesitantly tested Deut with his native language. "Aukmet val dagoonja Zebratalo?" [Do you speak the tongue of the Zebras?]

Turning with relief to the appearance of help, burnt orange pupils scanned the dragon once again. Offering a worthy smile and nod of acceptance, her attention quickly went to Deuterium. Wanting to give him the information she witnessed, Pumpkin Vine had waited for the Zebra and the mare to finish talking. Not wishing to seem disrespectful, the warrior had simply pointed to the young children that belonged to the zebra in charge.
"Deuterium, your kind words may save this situation. One of our own has upset the child, and this striped chump has pulled a knife on them. Please let these simpletons know that lashing out anger will not be tolerated in the camp. There are young ones everywhere, feelings are bound to get hurt. Clearly there is a misunderstanding that you must fix, My words are no good here."
Walking away from the zebra's, the lightly coated mare had moved behind the crowds to sit and watch this interaction. Near the large dragon, Pumpkin stood at the ready to defend the translator if she so needed too. If the race attacked with the understanding too, all bets were off. She would then not hold back, swiping away any weapons they had left. This was of course, only if things went sour.
