The sewers are large and intertwined underneath the city, forming a type of snow-flake like formation. They're easy to get lost in and reek of sewage. They're completely patrolled, as King Sombra sees it a waste of pony-power to do so. There are large rooms all about the place that were originally made for workers to sleep in whilst the sewers were being built.... it's almost like another city in itself, a lovely place to meet that special pony!
