[Enter Mathew, Static & Medical team.]
Teleporting the unconscious stallion to the best place in equestria for care, the palace wing was beyond a normal hospital. With the best doctors bits could buy under one roof, both ponies and changelings alike were to feel safe in this building knowing this wing was here.
Placing down Mathew Clayton onto a bed of his own, the wing was not made for hundreds of patients. Upon needing more room, more often then not, patients were transfered to the next hospital upon needed. It goes without saying, the worst cases came first. Successfully getting him and his friend here, the changeling nurse had pressed a small red button near the door before pulling sheets to make shift doors from one patient to the next. The doctor would come in time. Shutting the door behind him, guards were stationed on the inside for safety.

Within his state of unconsciousness Max would relive his worst fears and nightmares over and over with no such end in sight. He shook a little violently in the real world from the PTSD he was experiencing. He knocked over a a flower pot that was placed on the bed side table. The pot hit the ground and shattered into pieces on impact causing water to splash all over the floor.

Trotting into the room with a brushed back mane and a frustrated scowl overlooking her domain, a tall and curved mare had made her way towards her patient in a timely manner. With a red coat essily recognised by her staff, the white striped and pink mane had been held together by her famous hair tie as the doctor scanned his chart. "Nothing. They give me nothing. He fell. Thats it? No prints, no ID badge? Nothing? What do I pay these imbeciles for?" Talking amongst herself in her curtained off room containing Mathew, the mare took in a large breath. Watching him spasm, two hooves went to touch his body before quickly pulling out a set of nebulizers. Low frequenced for the feint of heart, Doctor Oxy placed the two small buttons on the stallions chest. "Clear." Zzap.

With that one zap and thump against Mathews chest the upper part of Max's body Shot up and he came out of his unconsciousness yelling in sudden pain. A Pain that felt like a cart full of rocks carrying a train hauling the moon then simultaneously slamming into his chest cavity region in one giant slam. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!" he would collapse back down on the hospital bed feeling quite out of place... The last thing he could remember was dirt and a sudden blackness. His vision was still a bit fuzzy from not being conscious for some time.

"It never feels good. There are some items here for you." Placing the items to the side, Doctor Oxy had placed a side swivel table towards the patient with a more subtle approach to things. "Can you hear me? Sir?" On the tray would be a glass of water and a pack of crackers for the feint as she attempted to reconnect with him. "You hit your head rather hard. What a doozy. Tell me, do you know your name? Where you were born?"

He just laid there rubbing his shocked stomach after being basically jumpstarted back to life. Max doesn't really say anything just glares at her and nods slowly. He looked at the glass of water on the table and quickly went for it causing some pain to be felt, he grabbed his chest region and didn't grab the water forcing himself back down into a laying position on the bed. He looked at the pony, then back at the glass of water trying to make a signal saying give me that.

Watching the patient with little knowledge as to how much he actually knows, the doctor had placed a hoof to her forehead in thought. "Do you speak Equestrian?" Not giving up on her task towards getting answers, she watched his eyes linger with need. She knew he wanted the water, but if he couldn't get up, he was surely going to have to talk to get it. "You must respond. I cannot help a mute pony with no drive towards helping himself."

Max let a long drawn sigh and squinted a little as he reached up and brushed the hoof off his head, which in turn caused a slight bit of pain. "Yes, I understand you." he said in a groggy I don't want to be here talk. Mathew then motioned to the water again, but this time he would flick his hoof towards it instead of experiencing that shocking pain again. "I need that."

Nodding in relief, with his speaking still in check, a hoof ventured to the drink. Lifting it and handing it carefully to the stallion, the doctor had begun to scan his other bodily functions. Placing a few sticky tabs on his body for the machine, Oxy could be sure he wasn't about to complain. Hooking it up to the heart monitor and watching for vital signs, her eyes ventured back to his head. "Have you ever heard of doctor patient confidentiality? It means you can say anything in this room, and it will remain between us. Please, you must answer the questions I give you. Who are you? Where did you come from? And what are your thoughts on the Queen?"

Mat took the cup and began to drink it. Water is exactly what he needed, he longed for cold fresh water. He began to feel the cups being put on him and eyed each one being put on as he drank from what seemed like an endless supply of water from the glass. Max began to basically ignore the doctor as she started to talk about Patient Confidentiality and most of the questions up to the part of his thoughts on the queen. Mathew removed the glass from his lips and began to grip the cup in both hooves strongly. "If my family is still alive I don't care about her...But if they are...dead" His anger started to flare a little causing the readings on the heart monitor to jump. "Then I would want nothing more to get justice for their deaths" The glass of water shatters in his hooves causing glass to fly in various directions and coating his body with what water was left in the cup and glass shards. The water subdued his anger rather quickly as the glass cut into the palms of his hooves, he didn't seem bothered by it.

Grinding her teeth and pressing a button on one of her control panels across the room, several nurses had came in to help assist with the broken glass. Cleaning up the floor and bed of the sharp small pieces, the doctor had begun to wrap Mathew's hooves carefully. "That was unintelligent of you. DO you have manners? Breaking things that are not yours." Shaking her head and turning to the blonde nurses that helped her, she waved them away with a thankful expression.
Turning back to her patient, Doctor Oxy was clearly not amused. "If you want to know answers about your family, I suggest you behave and answer the questions I have given you. Otherwise, you could wind up in a cell. Do I make myself clear?"

Max was a little shocked on how fast these nurses could clean up such a mess so quickly and releases a sigh as he laid there in water soaked blood stained clothes his hooves being bandaged. Then came her snarky remark that didn't flow so well with him. "How about you answer one fo my questions Miss..." he looks at her name tag on her collar. "Oxy, Where do you stand on the subject of thoughts on the...QUEEN" Mathew emphasizes on the word queen. "And don't worry I am sure whatever you write down on the clipboard will only end in pain and I have been in pain for a while... did the pegasus that found me already give you those details? Or just that I hit my head?"

Hearing him out and stepping back, the mare stared into his light colored eyes with frustration. Rolling her own and writing down something on her clipboard, Doctor Oxy was having none of this behavior. "The Pegasus that was with you is waiting outside. If you're going to continue to talk back with rude intentions, I think we are done here. You have two options. Be placed in a cell until the Queen can see you, or you can go to the throne room and wait. Your choice smart guy."

Mathew relaxes a bit in the bed moving his shoulders a little. "I'm not the one threatening to put you in a cell. Just wanted to know where you stood is all. Oh, I am sorry about the glass you know fathers instinct being over protective and such." Max would look at the end of the bed where he would see a filly looking back at him and Max just stared back at it like he was in a trance. The heart reader started to jump a little. "Don't look at me like that sweetie..." of course, this was just his own mind playing tricks on him.

Starting to realize she was jumping to conclusions so easily, Doctor Oxy took a moment to herself. Upon hearing him speak without anger, an apologetic expression had spread across her face. "I apologize, we are used to rebels these days wanting to harm." Shifting to the monitor and listening carefully to his words, the mare quickly processed the results. "Sir, come in. Are you well?"

The figure suddenly burst into green flames and screaming which overtook his hearing, causing the Heart monitor to jump even more than before. The Crackling of the fire and screams of the filly flooded his mind which in turn made him look distressed like trying to fight his way out of a crowd. "No! No! No! Somepony please stop this!" He would latch onto his head which started to increase with pain from the traumatic trauma that was attacking him relentlessly.

Watching in horror, the doctor knew she had to take emergency procedures. Pulling out a pouch and hooking it up to the machine, a wire hooked up to Mathew's arm was soon about to be set in place. Hearing the screams, nurses had came in to assist and hold the patient down as Doctor Oxy placed the contraption on his arm carefully. Within seconds, a calming liquid would begin to flow through the stallion's system as the pouch began to release inside of his arm. "Thank you again for your hard work nurses. Please stand by." Turning to the post traumatic stressed out pony before her, the mare felt her heart ache for the creature. "Can you hear me sir?"

The calming fluid that was being injected into Max's arm took a minute to kick in. Mathews head would lay itself back, his eyes shut and him panting hard from the trauma. Soon enough though his breathing started to relax and his eyes would open and look around as if nothing just happened at all. "Wha..What did you just inject me with?" he said while looking at the fluids running through the tube and into his body. "Cause I will probably need more of it." Max looked away from doctor Oxy a little while a tear slowly grew on his eye from watching a figure of his daughter burned alive.

Giving the emotionally damaged stallion a saddened understanding expression, Doctor Oxy could only try and make him smile with her words. "I'm terribly sorry, but you were having an episode. I had feared your blood pressure would rocket too high, so my team helped place this inside of you. I'm afraid it will wear off in a few hours, but for now you can have a peaceful mind set. With it, you can still walk once you feel up to it, however it will cause drowsiness for the time being. Do you understand?"

Max adjusted himself so he is sitting on the edge of the bed, then slowly started to get to his hooves. "I think I could use a walk." he stumbled a little as Max stood up on all fours. Mathew would take a few wobbly steps almost crashing into the heart rate machine, but didn't. Instead, he accidentally wobbled into Dr. Oxy causing him to lean against her.

"Not yet!" Unable to stop his efforts before finding the weight of the stallion against her, Doctor Oxy tried to hold him up. Clearly not set up for lifting this pony, she tried her best to keep him steady. "Wait, I have to detach you from the machine. You're lucky to not have torn your arm from this." Adjusting her settings and pushing him back towards stabilization, the mare focused on getting to his infused arm. "Stay still." Taking out his wire and holding a cloth to the needle size hole to stop any bleeding, she sighed internally.
"The medicine given to you will lessen the pain you're in, but you must take it easy. Tell me, what is your name? The Queen will want to see you.." Stopping to answer his initial question from before, she offered a friendly caring smile. "My impression of her? She's different then I expected her to be. Kind, considerate, and fair. Nothing like the stories I was told growing up. If I were you, Id give her a chance. War creates destruction. Both sides are at fault. But, at least she's trying to make a difference. I respect that."

Max sat down his head spinning from also vertigo and the medicine that was injected into his arm. He would inhale trying to get focused on answering her question seeing she answered his. "My name is Max," Mathew said looking down at the ground trying to stabilize himself before attempting to stand up again. "My world is fire and blood and a hell of a lot of sand and dirt." Max stood up for a second only to sit right back down on his spot. "War and strandedness have deformed me. Making me appear as unrecognizable." He would look down his own body "Fur pigment permanently altered; No cutie mark to call my own..." Max let out a long drawn sigh. "I can't be the same pony I was before."

Saddened by his story, Oxy couldnt help but feel for the stallion and his vague outcome of war. Wanting to help him, she tried to see things his way. "I'm sorry Max. The war changed a lot of us. It's never a walk in the park for anyone. If you go see the Queens, I am certain they can try to help you find what you are looking for in life." Looking around and grabbing the stuff he came in with, doctor Oxy brought it to his side. "This is what you came with. But Max, I must warn you about one thing in this new world. Never go to the Crystal Empire. Do you hear me? It is not run the same, nor do they follow the rules of the new society. I'd stay clear."

Max took Doctor Oxys words to heart but gave a confused look when told to not go near the Crystal Empire. "I thought the Crystal Empire was an Allied territory?" Max took his possessions and started to look into the bag. And started to have a panicked face and started digging through the bag quite rapidly; tossing its content onto the floor. "Where is it?.... Where is it!?" He flips the bag upside down completely emptying the items inside onto the floor and examining everything on the floor and under everything. Max looked under the bed, under the table and under everything he could see "Where is my family picture!?"

"It is.. however we believe the King is not quite so forgiving." Blinking in realization at what he was looking for, the doctor had begun to search around again. Unsure, Oxy yearned to help with little knowledge. "That is what we found. Where did you last see it? Did anypony spot it before you fell?" Instantly remembering the mare in the waiting room, the doctor had focused on what she might have had in her possession. "Calm down hun, think."

Max began to calm down a little kinda hyperventilating in an attempt to hold in his emotional outburst. He started to think back as far as he could. He began to strain himself with all the thinking letting out an exhale. "I don't remember where it could be, but it was in this bag at one point in time." He slammed his hoof down "It's like losing them all over again..." Mathew looked to be in distress but was not having any memory flashes or hallucinations thanks to the wonder drug in his blood system.

Wiffing back her ears at the stallions saddened situation, the doctor tried to think of any clear attempt to make him smile. Holding onto that thought, Oxy had held out a hoof as if to say wait a minute before walking out the door. Upon reentering, a smile grew on her once uncertain face as a brightly colored mwre in grey walked in behind her.
Drooped ears flattened against her head as Static Wing stood in the hospital room in doubt. Not sure Max would even want to see her, the mare had held out a picture towards his presence. Belonging to him and knowing it fell out back in the desert regions, she had swiped it in hopes of seeing him again. "I um.. hi. I found this.. Its yours is it not?"

Max watched the doctor leave only to return suddenly with another mare that he recognized slightly from the hills. Mathew then looked at her extended hoof that held an image that he immediately recognized and took it without a second thought placing the photo in his bag and refilling it with its contents. "Thank you... I might as well be on my way" he stood up and put the bag on his back only to crouch a little still a bit in pain. "Or not" he lets out a grunt.

Watching the speedster walk out with nothing but a simple nod, it would appear she felt partially responsible for his injuries. Watching him closely, Doctor Oxy smiled at his motivation despite body muscle at the moment. "You are weakened from your travels. Tell me, do you wish for food? I can certainly get you whatever it is you desire. If you do not wish to be waited on, the dining room is around the corner."
