"There isn't anything I can't get used too.. I'm used to everything rabidly changing around me. Nothing seems to stay the same anymore, it's in a constant state of flux." Orange sighed thinking about how things have changed in the last five years.
At first she was a regular pony, sure she didn't have her cutie mark, but things were normal. Then Plush attacked which brought out this change in her and boy was that pure chaos, everypony had saw her as a freak basically running her out of town. After that.. Well after that Orange visibly fought herself to not remember what happened next, it was too painful for her. Plush would be able to tell the mare was spacing out her eyes dimming.

While finally tuning out of her slump, blue dwelling orbs shifted to the mare that continued to help. Noticing a change in her emotional state, Plush couldnt possibly know what to say. Shaking away her own concerns, this wasn't just about her anymore, she needed to see the bigger picture. Approaching the pretty eyed creature and nudging her carefully, she knew Orange Glow felt pain too. Causing trouble for many of those involved that day, Plush could only hope to one day make it up.
"Hey, we've both done things we regret. And sometimes, its because of other ponies with their own problems. I may not be able to cure what happened to you, but I can offer you my understanding and hopefully non deadly friendship."

"That'd be nice, I could use a friend and well.. More of that other stuff" Orange chuckled and smiled hiding trying to hide her emotions.
She didn't want to appear weak right now nor anymore. So she'd do what she had to to hide her emotions. Orange wrapped a hoof around Plush and hugged her tightly for a second.
"Thank you"

Attempting to hide her uncomfortable demeanor as the hug continued, Plush tried to place a hoof on Orange Glow's own. With the halfling just as in need of companionship as she was, the mare knew she needed to open her eyes. Orange was suffering, because of her. Fighting the urge to run, Plush pulled herself away gently.
"You're welcome. What should we do now?"
Pondering on how they could waist more time doing things Orange wanted to do, a memory crashed into her cranium upon impact. Remembering where she initially yearned to go after getting out of prison, Plush could only hope Orange was going to allow them to go off on another adventure. To do this however, would set them back further from training then even she anticipated. Enjoying it more, blue orbs looked at the once saddened orange pupils with a soft smile.
"Actually, if you dont mind. Can we.. go to the cemetery?"

"W-why would you want to go there? From what I've seen nothing good comes from living in the past, though if you want to I'm sure we could manage it." Orange sat up and stretched a bit keeping an eye on the mare that laid besides her.
Orange had no reason to visit the place and honestly she didn't care to. Thankfully the one thing about growing up lonely is that you won't have the heart break of losing one of them permanently. The only pony she had ever lost was her sister. After stretching out a bit she hopped out of her bed and went over to the window, it still looked grim as always, perfect timing to go to a cemetery she guessed. She looked back at Plush sticking her tongue out playfully before spreading her little changeling wings.
"Well, you coming lazy?" She smirked

Shrugging at her question without much of a response, the introverted mare tried to shake off her slumped flash backs with ease. Glancing to the bright orange orbs of her friend? Soldier? Uncertain on what Orange was actually to the Queen, at this point, surely it didn't matter. Spreading open her wings and walking closer with a slow nod, Plush Ramen stared at the window with a hint of anxiety. Hoping nothing was coming after them, shaking it off as a dream was harder then she thought.
"Yeah.. I don't know. You don't have to come.. if you don't want to. Its not like.. I have anywhere else to go."
Unsure how Orange would take this, in truth she meant no harm by it. Assuming this made the halfling uncomfortable, Plush had only wanted to give her an outlet if she so desired. Noting she'd be alone, it probably wouldn't fly well, despite not having ill intentions. With no truth readily available to each side, she could understand if Orange Glow refused.

"I have to come and you know it Plush, I may have let you come to my room alone, but going out alone is never gonna happen. Though It'll probably be like I'm not even there if that helps any" Orange smiled to the mare.
She looked out the window one last time and sighed softly, she took flight just hovering outside the window waiting for Plush.

Curious as to what Orange Glow meant, wings flapped in unison as she steadily flew out after her. Once outside, Plush had questioned closing the halfling's window with a moments passing. Leaving it up to Orange, blue orbs gazed around them as the world below moved on. Despite the war and new leadership, it seemed ponies and changelings were on their way towards harmony. Pondering if this was a good thing, if things were so perfect, why did fugitives exist?
"Can I ask you something? If things here are running smoothly, then why do creatures still run?"

"I guess ponies are just set it their ways. They used to live so freely and had to pay bits as taxes. Now we have to feed on them once every month or so. The feeling isn't exactly pleasant. They want their old way of life back I think" Orange nods to herself thinking that sounded about right. She was flying upside down at this point just casually flying.

"I don't blame them." Sighing to herself before taking off into the sky, Plush didn't wish to look back. Those days were over and done, even if they haunted her every dreams. Moving on was a must. The question was, how? How could she simply become a different pony? Shifting an eye to Orange, how did she manage to do it?
