Pandy looked up at the heavens above, just now realising how long it had been... And how free he was.
When did I last see the sky?
It seems like years ago...
I'd stay and look, but time is short,
It's time for me to go!
No more restraint, no more waiting,
No more caves for me!

All this forest could be mine! I could level these trees, clear me a path right to Canterlot... I could even start a little hostile takeover of a few villages. Make them bow to my power... Rushing along the bottom of the trees in secret, a young filly had been searching everywhere for the mysterious pony that caused the camp to go ablaze. Nervous and more frightened as her hooves ventured further from the camps sight, her tiny hooves pushed forward. Spotting Pandemonium as he continued to sing, fear struck the filly more then old villains ever could. This pony used to eat food in the cafeterias just like her, and now he was so angry. Slowly approaching, the timid low to the ground girl spoke softly. "Ex..cuse me sir?"

Pandy looked to the ground, spying the small filly. He didn't recognise her, but then again who would he recognise out here? He'd been cooped up in that hole for ages, who'd recognise anyone after such an amount of time? He looked to the tiny little pony and raised an eyebrow. "What d'you want?" He replied with a sneer.

Startled by his sudden direct vocal cords, the small filly had trembled in her place. From his appearance alone, he seemed off. Never wanting to assume the worst, the young innnocent girl had gathered up the courage to approach him once more. "I.. um.. I'm lost. I tried retracing my steps and i found you.. is my daddy around?" Tilting her head and awaiting a response, she replaced her fear with curiosity.

Just as he was aboutt to reply with a slightly more eloquent version of 'get lost', Pandy realised something. He didn't know where he was going either. This was a massive great forest, and he wasn't entirely sure if he could make his way out... If he hadn't worn himself out in that fight with the dumb Pegasi he'd be able to simply fly up and find his way from there, but he supposed that until he was patched up he was as lost as this little girl... but not for long. At least, in the grand scheme of things it wasn't "long". Maybe if he played the nice guy he'd be able to pull this little filly's strings... Get something out if it in return.
"I don't know." He replied, as softly as he could muster with his gravelly voice. "And I'm as lost as you, kid. This forest is pretty dense... So maybe we should stick together."
Yes, yes. Come across all nice, play her like a fiddle.

"R-eally?" Tearing up at his confession, the small and gullable child had bolted for his side. Leaping to him in a relieved state of mind, her small exicted hug had taken effect. "Thank you so much! Now you wont be lonely too! And we can find my mommy together!" Giggling at her situation, the small lightly yellow coated filly had let go of Pandy's body slowly. "Which way do we go Mr?"

Pandy didn't react as the little imp jumped onto him like that. He supposed that this was the kind of thing Deuterium had liked doing... It made him feel a bit uncomfortable though. Still, he didn't show it.
"Let's go... That way?" He pointed in a random direction.

Smiling softly, the small filly could not see the difference between good and evil. Her eyes saw the kindness within everyone. That was, until somepony proved her wrong. Trotting next to Pandy with a pure innocence, she hummed a gentle lullaby to herself, her luck turning around. "So where are you from Mr?"

"In there." Pandemonium saw no reason to lie... But he could certainly spin it, win this girl to her side. "You aren't allowed to leave there. I escaped."
Pandy didn't show it but he was starting to get a tiny bit impatient. This forest seemed to go on for ages, and he was still very weak. When would they reach the next town?
