Let's take a chance

[Trixie]

"Okay Moonie." She smiled and walked outside with a giggle.

[Moonlight Scroll]

As they step outside, the chilly air of the night envelope them once more and the night sky is still glittering with shining stars.
Moon however doesn't care about that too much at the moment as he stands and spies into the night around them. And after a short while he seems to have found his target, a small hill just a little way from the tent, and he excitedly starts to trot towards it.
"This way! This is the place!" He says, determined, to Trixie as they trot.

[Trixie]

Trixie smiles and keeps up with him in her own trot. "Well come on, hurry up."

[Moonlight Scroll]

"Yes!" He says and tries to hurry up, not even sparing energy to roll his eyes at the comment.
As soon as they reach the top of the hill he starts to look around in appraisal.
"Hmmmmhm, yes. This will do." He finally says in approval before he promptly lies down onto the grass, looking up with a grin at the starry skies above them.

[Trixie]

Trixie sits in front of him kissing his cheek. "So what is this question Moonie?"

[Moonlight Scroll]

He remains grinning as he switches his attention away from the stars and back to Trixie. Before she would have time to protest, he would reach out towards her and give her a gentle tug so she too would lie down on the grass.
"You know~" He then says, purposely avoiding her question. "I don't think I say 'I love you' nearly enough~" He then adds with a chuckle: "So, I love you~"

[Trixie]

"Well, I love you too, but that is not a question" She pouts not caring about laying there

[Moonlight Scroll]

"Oh, but are you sure?" He says, chuckling once more. He keeps his carefree expression while he with his magic(though it was a bit sloppish at the moment) starts to rummage through his saddlebags that he still wore.
"But yes yes, alright, question question~" He says as he searches. "Yes, it's quite a silly question I'd say."

[Trixie]

"Yes I am sure Moon, silly. Now what is this silly question." She looks towards his saddlebags.

[Moonlight Scroll]

"I'm getting to that~" He says before letting out a small gasp as he finally founds what he was looking for and floats them out of his bags.
The objects in themselves were not too impressive: two identical silver rings, each with a small chain going through it. Moon let them float between them while he himself only had eyes for Trixie.
"See, I remember me having all sorts of arguments why I shouldn't ask but, ah, I can't really remember any of 'em at the moment so they can't have been that good." He says in a factual tone, his cheeks still a bit rosey, before he flashes an innocent smile at the mare in front of him.
"So ah, would you marry me?"

[Trixie]

Trixie looks at the object with tears in her eyes. She looks to Moon and tackles him over kissing him passionately. "Of course I will Moon."

[Moonlight Scroll]

The first second of the kiss the stallion was surprised though he rather quickly let it be replaced by an urge to kiss her in turn (which he also did).
In the brief pause that came after in which she said "yes", he let himself be filled with a simple, immense joy and pulled her close once more to kiss her yet again.

[Trixie]

Trixie continued to kiss him for a bit smiling oh so very much. "That was not a silly question, that was the question I have been waiting to hear."

[Moonlight Scroll]

"Well...I should have asked sooner then~" He says, him too wearing a grin, wide as can be. He then looks away for but a moment to locate the objects in question, which he had dropped thanks to her tackle, and with a feat of simple telekinesis he had floated one of the rings over and held it over her head.
"May I~" He asks while keeping his grin.

[Trixie]

"I don't know, I think I would have preferred an earring.." She giggled and nods. "Go ahead"

[Moonlight Scroll]

He simply rolls his eyes at that and continues to grin as he carefully places the improvised necklace around her neck.
"Well well, no need to fret, it's just a ring of silver. I'm sure it's fixable~" He says happily, it not being nearly enough to take him out of his mood.
He then leans away a little to admire his work. "I think you look stunning either way." He then says warmly.

[Trixie]

"Why thank you Moon. You are the best fiance a mare could hope for" She smiles and moves closer kissing him.

[Moonlight Scroll]

"You know, I think I can believes you~" He mumbles between one kiss and another, feeling quite warm in spite of the chilly night (which was probably due to a combination of bodily contact with Trixie, his slight drunkeness and a overwhelming feeling of happiness standing above most other feelings at the moment).

[Trixie]

"Do you.. Wanna return to the tent?" She smiled and batted her eyes.

[Moonlight Scroll]

He tilted his head at that in consideration. "It's a little cold, isn't it?" He then says innocently, appearantly unaware of the implications, while he at the same time collects the other ring with his magic and adorns it.

[Trixie]

"Oh yes it is. When we get back to the tent Trixie will make sure to warm you right up!" She giggles.

[Moonlight Scroll]

He wasn't sure what was so funny but he grinned either way. "Hm-m, that does sound nice~" He says and stand up.

[Trixie]

Trixie quickly darts into the tent and waits patiently.

[Moonlight Scroll]

And Moon followed, oblivious of what awaited him within.

When Moon finally awoke to the morning sun shining upon their tent, he found himself in the arms of Trixie and with an altogether content feeling over him.
Though why exactly this feeling was, he could say. He could make a guess due to the, ah, condition he and Trixie was in, but... no, there was something else nagging at the edges of hazy memories.

[Trixie]

Trixie slowly woke up as Moon did and she nuzzled him happily. "I love you Moon, my fiance" She giggled

What she said at first went partially unnoticed and he hummed in response as she nuzzled him.
"And good morning to you t-" He didn't get farther before his mind managed to get up to speed and recognize what she had actually said. He froze up, suddenly aware of the something that hung from his neck.
"I... ah..." Seemed to be the only (semi-) intelligent words he could form at the moment.

[Trixie]

"You ah what Moonie? You proposed last night" She smiled and kissed his head

[Moonlight Scroll]

He blinks slowly, his mouth (unknowingly) open as he tried to make sense of what he was told. His eyes then widens as he realizes that it's true.
"Oh sweet Celestia I did, didn't I?" He says, flusterd, as a slight flush spreads over his cheeks. He then let's out a light gasp as he realizes what this in turn means.
"Then that means you-?" He asks, excitedly.

[Trixie]

"Yes Moon I said yes. You dork" She giggled.

[Moonlight Scroll]

A grin quickly spreads across his face and after a quick inward debate on how to proceed now he settles on throwing his arms around his fiancee and hugs her tightly.
"Thank you~" He says cincerily, almost whispering. "For making a dorky stallion very happy~"
